We had the latest blood tests done today. I had plenty of time to waste waiting for the results and ended up buying a really expensive kayak. LOL. Drinking to relieve stress was much cheaper. We got most of the results and it didn't register with us at first, but all of her results were within the normal range except 2. They were not a huge issue and barely out of range. The doctors have no idea what made it stop or why it stopped. It just did. Thanks again for all of you. I know she will not out live us, but we want to beat the odds and give her the longest life possible. She's good to go now until the next emergency. Next blood test was pushed back till October. I'm having a drink now just so my 3.5 other kids won't see how worried I was. I was q pretty good day.7 points

Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed this forum over the years. I appreciate the work that is put into running it. I was looking at my profile and realized I’d been on since 2007. I’m not a tech guy and this is the only page I look at regularly outside of social media. Thanks again to TGO David and everyone else involved. Paul5 points

Got a pair of Kim Ahrends Cocobolo Grips for it and got them installed. I had to do a little bit of modification to them cause when these came in they were for a N Frame rnd. Butt and this one has a K Frame rnd. Butt conversion. I got them to fit pretty decent and I like the way they feel.4 points

The K9 cop should be fired and prosecuted, no doubt about that. The truck driver (Jadarrius Rose) will sue and get rich on the backs of taxpayers who employ the idiot cop thanks to qualified immunity. What's not fair is that Rose ran from the cops twice. He escalated a routine traffic stop into a multi-jurisdictional chase. Unfortunately, the chase drew in the idiot K9 officer from a neighboring podunk town and the only thing the world will know about is what this moron cop did.2 points

Not nearly so bad as your incident, pop pop. I pulled an embarrassing stunt Monday afternoon. After taking a yard sale purchase my wife made to a location to be powder coated...I decided to unhook my 10 ft. utility and roll it into my usual storage spot. Short version of a long story. I didn't get enough forward momentum to position it aginst the chocks and it rolled back on me. Dodged the tongue and frame, but backpeddling didn't work and I planted my butt on the gravel and had the trailer smack me in the leg before it stopped. Now the leg is fine. At least as fine as bad leg can be. But my back and butt aren't to happy with me. Got some spectacular bruises...no pics on this...and sore low back and ribs. Wife didn't know i was doing this. So you can guess the conversation that ensued. As I lay on the ground contemplating the vaguries of life and stupid old men that refuse to accept what we cannot do any longer...I just thought of more pleasant days...like when I could walk without a cane. Make love all night long and pleasure a woman to screams of ecextasy. Well the first part anyway. Cursing myself heavily, I had to crawl over to the bumper of my vehicle to have a brace to get up. Then wifey pokes her head out and asks what's taking so long! Women!! Glad you are ok. If your doc is anything like mine...it could be an interesting conversation as you attempt to explain why you thought you could do this. Good luck with it.2 points

**Price drop** I have a Walther PPQ M2 9mm for sale. This was originally purchased in the 4" version and I will include the 5" slide (fully assembled) as well. A blue magwell was added to the frame which can be easily removed with a punch to get the pin out and just slide it off. Two mag extensions are included too (blue). Both barrels have about 300 rounds through them each. If you are familiar with Walthers, you'll know the stock trigger is pretty crisp with a short reset. Ergonomics of this pistol are great and allows you to control the recoil in the 4" version pretty easily. Comes with: box (3) magazines (two with extensions) 5" slide (fully assembled) Backstraps Walther mag loader Purchaser must be a TN resident with valid ID and legally able to own a firearm. CASH ONLY. NO TRADES. Located in Sumner Co and travel around the state for work. Willing to meet up.1 point

TBH, this is the first I have heard that there was a Congressional hearing about UFOs. But, I pretty much ignore much beyond local news anymore.1 point

Great find on a Ma Duce barrel. I personally never owned one due to the cost of feeding it. I had chances years ago on two mounted on a navy twin mount. Fodder was 85 cents each back then. You might call Barrett down toward Nashville and ask them. I believe they uses them in modified form on their big dogs, but not sure. Due to todays ammo prices shot out barrels are rare in civilian hands but it can happen if one’s got the bucks to spend. The above posts sound good. ”Happiness is a warm belt fed.”1 point

Rest up, hope you get to feeling better. I know exactly how you feel, I'm in the process of replacing my trucks complete ac from the compressor to all the lines and dryer under the hood. Got just about everything out except for the dryer those fittings are a bear so I ordered a tool to help with separateing the lines. Putting in the compressor and getting the belt back on took its toll on me. It sucks getting old, and dealing with some medical issues that I was diagnosed with two years ago, and my strength just isn't the same. Heal up and rest up, that's what I'm doing until the parts come in tomorrow so I can finish it up. Take care, your not the only one to feel this way about getting old.1 point

Because those big tires pick up all kinds of crap off the road and throw it at vehicles behind them. Lots of damage and plenty of wrecks have been caused by this. It may seem small, but its actually a major safety issue. Just my 2 cents: the driver had surrendered, hands up and co-operating. Dog was not needed. Driver is gonna be rich.1 point

Has it ever been released why he ran? Other warrants, drugs, ...? Why would he get pulled over for a mud flap? I get how picky they are with commercial vehicles, but blue lights for a mud flap? Wouldn't a call to the company suffice? And the cop who released the dog needs to answer for that. I also get that dogs get excited but K9s should be held to a higher standard.1 point

You’re right. The officer’s excessive use of force by sending in his K9 to attack a subject who was fully surrendered, non-resistant, and in the custody of another officer is far worse.1 point

This is one of those instances where I think many folks have a problem with looking at, and analyzing things in an honest manner. They always want to find a singular person to blame for the entirety of the situation. The reality is the guy who ran and the k9 officer were both wrong in their actions. The actions of either is neither excused nor justified by the actions of the other. Each must be investigated, charged, and prosecuted where appropriate independently and in isolation of the other1 point

I'm finally realizing that my body is breaking down to protect me from what my mind tells me it can still do. I definitely can't run, or hang rafters anymore says my body...... or can I says my head.1 point

3 witnesses have been identified for the hearing next week. Burchett is leading the charge. “This is ridiculous, folks. Either they do exist or they don’t exist,” Burchett said. “They keep telling us they don’t exist, but they block every opportunity for us to get a hold of the information to prove if they do exist. We are going to get to the bottom of it, whatever the truth may be. We are done with the coverup.” https://www.newsnationnow.com/space/ufo/oversight-uap-ufo-hearing-what-to-expect/1 point
