My wife and I saw it this afternoon. Very powerful message. The left is really going after this movie. Honestly, after watching, I don't understand why. There was no political message. Nothing against the Left or the Right. It does make a powerful point about child sex trafficking. At the end it posts some sobering facts about how there are more people that are slaves now, than at any other point in human history and that it is estimated that millions are children. How any mainstream political group could be against this, is beyond my comprehension. I agree with @NoBanStan, that here was no Qanan vide to this movie. I do urge everyone to go see it!!!3 points

Thinning the herd to fund next purchase. Less than 50 rounds through the 45acp (green front sight), 9mm is sold. Functions flawlessly and shoots accurately. Millwork and coating is like new. Clean and oiled up for the next owner. Original case and papers included. Tisas no longer makes the Bantam so when dealer stock dries up, they are gone. Great bang for the buck on these, just as nice as my Kimber CDP pro or S&W 1911 PC. looking to get 800 for the 45 9mm is sold. Nashville meetup, TN DL required.1 point

Picked up my new bike last weekend so time for this one to go. This Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom is probably the cleanest 2012 you'll find. Never down. It only has 3282 miles! I put new tires on it last year only because the originals were 10 years old and worried they might be getting "hard" (so a bike tire expert told me about compounds changing over time). New battery also. Turn key ready, perfect in every way, just needs a rider. $39001 point

Once more time. Early this afternoon we had yet another quick, but hard storm passed through. And for the third time in 2 weeks my power went out. 7 hours this time. And yet again, I had to drag out the generator and run a bunch of cords to keep the fridge. freezer and a few other things running. Just this morning I sent my County Commissioner an e-mail asking about the problem and if anything could be done? He replied quickly and let me know that my city was having a public forum with MLG&W at 5:00pm today just to discuss this problem. But I missed it! Ya know why? I didn't get to read the e-mail until after 9:00pm because my power was out! As an added bonus, this time the outage messed up my computer. Seems it got tired of these sudden unexpected shutdowns and wouldn't restart. Thankfully, my oldest son is an IT guy. He came over and got it running again. Sorry for the rant, but this crap is getting on my very last nerve.1 point

We put up 40 qts of sweet corn today, along with 20 ears on the cob. Thankfully my dad came by. I sent him home with a trash bag full. We’ve canned a bunch of green beans, some dill and bread and butter pickles and some relish. Next week we’ll start on the purple hills and maybe tomatoes. Ours has done pretty good this year.1 point

Yes, there is life for the soul after leaving this realm. The Bible tells us the body will return to the dust and the soul will return to God who gave it. When our soul passes to the next realm (Hadean Realm-Realm of departed spirits), that will be a new beginning, the beginning of eternity. Totally hard for mankind to understand eternity. The only place we can read about that new beginning is when Jesus gave the story of "The Rich man and Lazarus" found in the pages of the Bible. (Luke 16:19-31) Get a Bible and read it for yourself. If you listen to Jesus words, it will encourage you to prepare for yourself. The main thing is to be ready for that transformation guys. My prayer is for Jim Scoutten, and for all of us to make ready, if you have not already. Serious business for old and young as well. We just buried a 29 Y O great nephew who was tragically killed in a car wreck last week. Sensless death, he was a victim of road(possible) rage the Police told his father. Thank God he was a baptized Christian. His Mom and Dad have hope in his passing. To make ready for the next realm is the only way to real peace for our impending deaths. Everyone knows we are going the way of death. If this is not appropriate here, delete it please. Edited to add; If you are interest to study this, send me a private message and we can meet. I only study the Bible.1 point

Looking Good Rob! That'll be some good eating! My garden has been riding the struggle bus this season what with the heat and the rain... I have been eating out of it daily and managed to put up some green beans, turnips, and rutabagas though. I spent the past 2 weekends waterbath canning, Prep takes longer than the actual canning of course. I decided to make some Chow Chow. I had to use store bought cabbage and bell peppers... limited growing space in my raised beds and such. But I got 14 pints put up over 2 weekends, The onions, carrots, green tomatoes, and jalapenos came from my garden. I had to resize the canned jars and for whatever reason it tilted the photo. Gravity is not to be blamed.1 point

Sad to hear. He was a favorite as well. He was 77, I am 75 with serious health problems. Every day is a gift guys. Are you ready to go!? I am, but not tomorrow, or today, but I know where I am going when it happens. Put my trust in Jesus for the next life. Join me. Rest In Peace Jim Scoutten.1 point

White House press release from a meeting they held. Since senior leadership in LEAs are political positions and they oftentimes go on to seek positions of greater power, there is a name on this list of attendees that should be of specific interest to Tennesseans in general and Nashvillians in particular.1 point

I'd like to see this one, but I doubt my wife would get through it. If you haven't watched "The Chosen", you should. It's fantastic. https://new.thechosen.tv/1 point

Just my thoughts... Very surprised to see all the diffrent caliber preferences. Granted, actual use not declared whether hunting or target but, imo, a great all around is the 308 Winchester. 500 yard steel targets ring out with regularity. On a good eye day, even the 4 inch swingers get action at that distance. For MOA fans, 150 grain ballistics is not a lot diffrent than a 5.56 in that a 100 zero gets a 2, 4, 7 or 11 MOA crank for 200, 300, 400 and 500 yard clang action. For me, hunting past 300 is not ethical. Really, 250 these days since my eyes just don't make the grade anymore. Harvesting good meat is what matters so a magnum blaster up close is just not required. In fact, that was one of the reasons i went tinkering with the 350 Legend and 458 SOCOM. 150 yards is a cakewalk for both of those calibers but no farther. So overall, the 308/7.62x51 rules around my camp for an all purpose go-to. Smoky1 point

Just put all you money into factory ammo, lots of it. Put it in safe and dry ammo storage devices. Would like to go on but there are two men in black suits ringing my doorbell. "Dave's not home man"0 points

My recovery will be extended some, my wife I were tested positive for Corvid this morning. so far it hasn't hit me very hard, just a cough and a runny nos. My wife has the cough but also a headache and other aches. I'm sure we got it at the hospital, only place we have been. My son has shown no symptoms and is extending his stay till we get rid of the latest problem. He cooked a really good supper for us tonight. So my cardiac rehab start has been delayed by 10 days.0 points
