The gun was made in 2019 according to the stamp on the slide. It has less than a thousand rounds through it. I replaced the stock grips with g10 grips. I replaced the stock sights with Dawson Precision fiber sights. Otherwise the gun is stock. It comes with 4 magazines. The two with the gun were stamped ,40 cal and I bought two additional mecgar mags. I also got a kydex iwb holster for it. I would consider trades for pistols in .40 S&W. I am firm on the price and will want to see a TN DL or CC permit before purchase. I can meet in the Knoxville area. PM me if you are interested or have questions.2 points

Good Day! Moving to Lenoir City in October, looking for a local outdoor range/gun club to join, and also any local hunting club/game farm opportunities. Love to hunt upland game but South Dakota is a long drive. Moving from Minnesota, or East-California as we call it. Will be glad to get to TN. Thanks for any advice.1 point

Frank Eaton "Pistol Pete" & his eldest daughter My last old gun photo till I can find some more. Lot more than I thought I had. Keep the ball rolling with your vintage gun photos. Going for a tiple bypass later this week so that will take me out of commission for a few days then lots of time to not do much more that surf the web.1 point

I have one of the model 28. It is my first pistol and was a sock drawer gun for many years. Use to shoot it years ago before my modest collection grew. Still have the box, cleaning rod, and even the wax paper it was wrapped in. It truly is a great firearm. I would not take $700 for mine.1 point

Lived in and hunter Alaska for 35 plus years. I was convinced the best thing to carry was a big bore revolver. 454 Casual, 500 S&W, 500 JRH, etc. Pretty much owned and used then all. Some of my friends started carrying semi auto 10mm's and it slowly sunk in they are a better choice. A few buddys started out with Glocks but most have switched the the Springfield XDM's and carry a mag full of 200 grain hard cast bullets or 200 grain Hornadys. Much easier to get off multiple shots with a semi auto 10 than any big bore revolver. Even though I still own plenty of big bore revolvers I now own a Springfield.1 point

Half a turn on or half a turn off? If you can’t get the device on, could it be that the barrel and device are not the same thread pitch? It might look right but one might be metric and one standard.1 point

@jeff43 It's a line from the movie, True Lies: "And she's got the most incredible body too and a pair of titties that make you wanna stand up and beg for buttermilk."0 points
