It’s correct Hale chose the school due to a perceived lack of security and the isolated nature of being on the hill. She had considered two other schools as well as a public location but determined she would have more success at TCS. This is written in her notes which I will address in a sec. While there was not an SRO at the school, measures were already being put in place to have trained and armed staff on site along with the active shooter training they had recently completed. There was not a “Manifesto” as one might think. That was a poor choice of words for the police chief to use. There were 17 notebooks filled with research of every school shooting, logistics of the TCS building, camera locations, employee info, etc. Hale had been monitoring the building for two yrs and compiling info. She was hyper focused on this aspect thus the large amount of data on covenant and on how to successfully conduct a school shooting with maximum deaths. According to police, this was the most planned school attack in US history and they're still processing info. It’s an active investigation that they expect will take another year to complete. It’s true the police don’t want this research and info out there since it will most definitely aid future shootings. As far as the school, church & parents not wanting the “manifesto” released, there are unwell people out there wishing harm towards the school as evidenced by continued letters and calls to the school. It’s unfathomable but the rumors people have created, pushed, and subsequent anger has made an unsafe environment for everyone there. My wife has fielded calls and received letters several times. People have traveled to Nashville to stalk the school. Releasing the notebooks would be equivalent to police releasing schematics and security details of your personal home knowing someone activity wants to hurt your family. Protection of staff and children who are still experiencing trauma from seeing their classmates killed is paramount.8 points

@Snavebaonce again I greatly appreciate your willingness to share information that you know with us. This is information I don’t think many of us have seen adequately explained, or even disseminated very much at all by the authorities. I believe a greater effort to be more forthcoming with these details would go along way towards quieting down some of the conspiracy theories that abound. Wouldn’t cure at all, we all know it wouldn’t. I do believe it would help though. The lack of openness and transparency about why certain information is not being publicly disseminated, combined with the legislative efforts from Governor Lee with regard to the special session, and the red flag law only compound the ideas and suspicions that nefarious action is afoot. so once again, I know it has to be difficult for you to engage with some of the speculation that goes on around the subject here, so you have my gratitude for your willingness to share what you know with the rest of us.5 points

Honda Inverter EU2200 This is a great little generator I purchased to run my CPAP and sensitive electronics (Cable Modem, Wi-Fi Router, PC's, etc.). We installed a whole home generator and no longer have a need for this one. I purchased it new at Home Depot February 2021. With sales tax, it cost $1,255. I was unable to find a lower price anywhere. They do not seem to ever go on sale. If you are unfamiliar with these Honda products, they are wonderful. Almost a work of art. Easy to operate and very, very quiet. I only ran this one on the Eco Throttle Switch setting to power low demand items. I never ran it on anything demanding. I have another generator for refrigerators, etc. $XXXCash Let me know if you have any questions.4 points

Another gun I just do not shoot anymore. This is a very nice, accurate MK III. The Volquartsen Pistol Competition kit was installed by the original owner. All of the original parts are included. This is what Voquartsen says about the kit: This kit includes our Accurizing Kit , Bolt Tune-Up Kit and CNC-Machined Disconnector. The Pistol Competition Kit is designed to produce a crisp, clean 2.25 trigger pull, eliminate stovepipes, and eliminate failures to fire! Comes with original parts, case and 2 magazines (not shown in pics). $6504 points

Not sure about members, but they have some expensive legal bills to pay. Plus, there's the matter of Wayne's suits, cars, boats, homes, vacations, etc., not to mention the additional overhead from things like graft, corruption and embezzlement - it adds up pretty fast ...3 points

For Sale - Centurion by Generac Power Systems 3,250 Running Watts Generator OHV Engine $175 $200 cash (updated 7/7) I purchased this slightly used and have used it a few times. It has never ran in the rain. It starts every time on the 1st or 2nd pull. I always run it out of fuel before I store it in my closed garage. We added a whole-house generator and no longer need this one. I am located between Franklin and Bellevue (Nashville area). I am not sure what I would trade it for: Perhaps good factory Pistol ammunition Partial trade on a Ruger Super Single-Six2 points

I am a born and bred East Tennessean. I was a Corps brat and later went to the Navy myself. I have lived everywhere. East Tennessee is home. Saying anything is worse somewhere else is not relevant at all. Saying you were the last slave to be beat and it wasn't as bad as the first slave doesn't make you any less a slave or you didn't get beat. Humans can get used to brutal stuff. I have seen it. The folks that refuse to get used to it, the ones that refuse to be quiet about injustice or tyranny, those people are the heroes. Not the people that sold stuff to the British soldiers in the 1770s saying the British wasn't that bad. That it was worse in India or Russia. Patriot or Torrey, I believe its time to decide.2 points

OLight couldn't make a clunkier light unless they started using 1980's Soviet technology. Those lights are HUGE pieces of junk. Yeah, that will ruffle feathers but I care about you so I'm going to tell you it's crap. For concealed carry I run Streamlight TLR-7A lights because any lumens are better than no lumens. I also carry one of my handheld Cloud Defensive MCH lights to augment the TLR7A. I do have a few Surefire X300-U/B lights if I want to tote something around that has more lumens, but these suck for concealed carry, in my opinion, and are better for OWB / duty carry. My use for those lights is pretty slim.2 points

Thinning the herd to fund next purchase. Less than 50 rounds through the 45acp (green front sight), 9mm is sold. Functions flawlessly and shoots accurately. Millwork and coating is like new. Clean and oiled up for the next owner. Original case and papers included. Tisas no longer makes the Bantam so when dealer stock dries up, they are gone. GOA, SAF, FPC and several other 2A organizations have already laid all the ground work. With the recent ruling on un-finished receivers, there's a good chance that this time the pistol brace rule will finally and forever be nullified. NRA is finally jumping in for the sole purpose of claiming the win even though they did almost nothing. Don't give them a holes too much credit.1 point

Very nice work. Yup, wife is a good critic. Hard to get a compliment out of mine. I print off images from the net and size them appropriately. Sometimes have to print several times to get sized right. then use tracing film to transfer to the leather. Makes carving easier since I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. working on a sheath now, putting off the artwork that is going on the frog. Dreading trying to transfer nose art from a B52 to a spot about 1.5 x 2 inches.1 point

Or drives us CRAZY. My wife will many times “check out” a project when it’s complete. At first she would miss some of the flaws on projects , so I would point them out to her. Now she doesn’t miss any and sometimes will find some I missed. Love the look on those sheaths. Very Nice work.1 point

Definitely a "Team Fanny Pack" guy here. They were quite normal back in the 1990's, and tend to come and go in use. I still have an older Desantis in my holster box in the basement/reloading area. I frequently wore one while in scrubs going to and from work even less than 10 years ago. It's amazing how much gear they can hold and how little attention the general public pays them. And pushing 70 no one pays much attention to my attire anyway. Might have to dig mine out. +1 to fanny packs!1 point

We keep lights on inside every night. Have multiple night light hallway lighting directed on the floor and lights on in the kitchen at night. I know someone can turn lights off, and that is why the flashlights. I don't use a light on my bedside gun, or any handgun. I keep a good flashlight and a bigger spotlight, with fresh batteries in both. My wife has a flashlight on her side also. This ties up the offhand, but I have accepted the drawback of that situation. The flash light system suites me. I did have thought of purchasing a light for my Mossberg shotgun, but never have as of yet. We had a prowler a few years ago. Followed my daughter home, late at night, and was peeping in the front door glass. She worked as a car hop at Sonic and the dude followed her when she left. He was watching her, so I installed several lights and really lit up the outside of our home well. Also installed an audible driveway alarm. Light is a real deterrent, most times. Edited to add; I don't like the idea of pointing a loaded gun at someone in the night. I know some say one can point it at the floor and use ambient light to identify, but I can point a flashlight also.1 point

Instead of addressing mental health, our government has created or allowed it to be called "inclusion" or "tolerant. If the shooters mental state was addressed and not accepted as normal, it would not be allowed to legal purchase a weapon or weapons legally. The surprise of a mentally ill person doing something crazy is absurd at its least. just my 2 cents.....1 point

Gov Lee's pressure to strip Tennessee citizens of their constitutional rights with his Red Flag law, gets the attention of a 2A supporter in the state of Washington. I appreciate the video's this guy puts out there in YouTube, bringing attention to news around the nation, and explaining things in an easy to understand manner. You don’t loose springs. They vaporize. Owning a gun shop with an in-house gunsmith for 6 years. Upon closing the shop, we knew we would find a ton of springs. Nope, maybe one or two. There should have been a hundreds. If your gunsmith doesn’t drink brown water, smoke like crazy and cuss everything he lost a spring, be Leary of their talent. He passed in January and damn we miss him.1 point

Thank you for posting about this. We are in fact located just south of Murfreesboro on the county line. We currently have a manufacturing facility but are not set up with a store front in Murfreesboro yet. We are also veteran and family owned and operated. We currently manufacture 9mm 115gr with both New and Reman brass. We make all our of ammunition on a CAMDEX and all of our brass is roll sized, then pressure checked and processed on a CAMDEX also. We just did our first gun show this last weekend 6/24 & 6/25 at the Mid-TN Expo in Murfreesboro and it was a huge success. We are currently looking for a few more stores in Murfreesboro to stock our 9mm ammo. With the volume we are selling online it has been very difficult to keep up with demand. A lot of companies raise their prices when demand is too high, but not us! This business was started because we didn't like seeing ammo price gouging and wanted to be a part of the solution. We look forward to hearing more from you and always feel free to check out our instagram to see some cool behind the scenes stuff. https://www.instagram.com/borobullets/ Jason Boro Bullets jason@borobullets.com1 point
