I sautee squash, zucchini, potatoes, and onions in the skillet or on the blackstone pretty regularly. I usually use more herb based seasoning because my wife likes that better. There's a lemon rosemary that's really good.2 points

I tried a few links. A lot were defunct post Covid. Had an old timer I used to work with that is going to show me the works. I shoot pool, throw darts, golf, and shoot. This is one of those hobbies I want to do for myself.2 points

You garden guys gotta try this! In a skillet, sauté fish fillets in oil. Season with Tony Chachere Cajun seasoning. In another skillet, sauté in oil one cubed zucchini and 2 or 3 cubes yellow squash with a small chopped onion, also seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Prepare quick cook rice per instructions. Make bed of rice on plate, top with veggies and then fish. I just tried this on a whim, and it was delicious!!!1 point

I admire it, but do not have all the necessary tools. Figure out what you’d like to make and surf YouTube! Keep us updated with your progress. Like I said before; I admire it!1 point

Been doing it for years. Make sure your first projects are for your wife. Prime the pump for the proper tools later. 1st rule: you can never have enough clamps. Check building sight for end cuts. They usually don’t mind giving them to you and there’s a ton of things you can make with them.1 point

Adding another paint job to the thread. Picked up a solid black Magpul Stock for my Savage 110. I liked the Accustock okay, no real complaints, same for the camo job on it. But I like this Magpul stock better and I like the paint scheme better as well. It’s Sunday morning and I got time to paint the barrel and break up the scope outline as well a little bit. This is how I wanted it to look from the beginning so I’m really happy with it!1 point

I have one in 280 REM. It’s killed a LOT of deer, and short of fire or burglary, it isn’t going anywhere long as I’m around.1 point

I'm curious about the value, too. I have a Win 70 Featherweight in 30-06. Mine's been carried through the woods and isn't so pretty as yours, but it's among my favorites. I bought it new in 1980, I think.1 point

No idea whether the chambering helps or hurts the value, but you won’t get a better rifle! I’d scare up some dies and brass and hang onto it were it mine.1 point

Way folks use to dress, even wore it for supper at home. County folk had a good set of overalls for Sunday go to meeting. They even wore ties with them.1 point

If you guys want a great, bullet proof clear coat option check out SprayMax 2K clear coat. I've used the glossy on a motorcycle and a number of other things. I use the matte on guns and it holds up extremely well. It's a true auto clear coat with the hardener. It's the best you're going to find anywhere. It's pricey and the can will harden up 24hrs after you puncture the hardener and shake the can so I usually wait until I have a few things to paint1 point
