Well, you posted this in the firearms classifieds so do the same thing but list details of what you want to sell. I recommend one post per gun titled appropriately. Include in your post body details of the firearm, pictures, location, terms, and price. There is no shortage of examples. It’s real easy.5 points

G. Gordon Liddy caught crap years ago talking about how you could change the marks left on a bullet from the barrel by using a rat tail file in the barrel. I remember it went on for a few days, people from LEO to everyday people calling him out for helping bad guys. He response was something like bad guys know how to change the marks in a barrel, so I have told the bad guys nothing.3 points

Bike runs great, low mileage for its age (45k), comfortable, fast, will keep running for a good while. Garage kept by me and previous owner. Plenty of tread left on the tires. Comes with original hard bags, manually adjustable windshield, extra headlights, heated grips work like new. I would confidently saddle up and hit the road for any length of ride as is. Issues: In the interest of full disclosure I'm sharing everything that is "wrong" with the bike. Digital "3" indicator for 3rd sometimes appears, sometimes doesn't. Doesn't affect function at all. Fork seals could be replaced HOWEVER this bike has the BMW telelever suspension so the forks actually don't contribute to the suspension. If I was going to keep it I wouldn't even plan to change them for several more seasons (as long as there's still some oil in the tubes she's good to go). Asking $2000 CASH ONLY, face to face meeting in or around Mt. Juliet, no test rides without cash in my hand. Thanks.2 points

I just found and joined this forum today. I grew up in Tx and moved to Tn after getting out of the Army in 2007. I live in Tullahoma. I'm on a few other firearm brand specific forums and thought it'd be nice to join something local too. Looking forward to interacting with you all. Bryan2 points

Maybe it spins freely because there's a compression release? That would prevent it launching you into the bushes if it hits compression mid kick.2 points

Adding another paint job to the thread. Picked up a solid black Magpul Stock for my Savage 110. I liked the Accustock okay, no real complaints, same for the camo job on it. But I like this Magpul stock better and I like the paint scheme better as well. It’s Sunday morning and I got time to paint the barrel and break up the scope outline as well a little bit. This is how I wanted it to look from the beginning so I’m really happy with it!2 points

Thought I’d share a few of the camo schemes I’ve messed with. Nothing fancy and far from professional but thought I’d share. Maybe someone may get the nerve to do it on their own. Somewhat of a tree bark imitation trial here. My first ever camo job. Some of you probably remember me posting this years ago. This was done using only black and grey for something different. Nothing special, just wanted some FDE break up. This is the rifle is use for coyote hunting most of the time. A guy at work made some vinyl cutouts he wanted me to try out and this is what I was able to do. Adhesive vinyl would definitely be much cleaner but it works to break up the outline if you’re in a pinch or hurry. I was not happy with the pattern after trying out the stencils so the next picture is how I finished the look Definitely more broken up and “camouflaged”. I want to get it outdoors and see how well it’s hidden in the woods. My mk18! This turned out pretty cool looking. Basically this is brushed with dark earth. I used a thin foam brush, dabbed some little areas of dark earth paint and “smeared” the brush back and forth. It turned somewhat burnt bronze-ish. I liked the look, but it didn’t break up the silhouette as much as I wanted. But as you’ll see in the next picture this outcome worked very good for the base layer color. Here is how the mk18 looked after I applied some FDE and more dark earth. I’m much happier with this. My Rem 700 SPS Tactical in .308. Base layers are Aluma Hyde od green, brushes in fde, dark earth, and finally some small sections of black to finish it off. Very happy with how this one turned out! Edit: Forgot to add my Remington 870 so here it is. Edit Part 2: Adding the Savage 110 Tactical 6.5 Creedmoor pictures. With barrel and scope painted:1 point

Because it is a deal. I paid this much for a 15 year old BMW K100 that I rode from Memphis to Oklahoma City nonstop. I could have continued driving, no problem. I’ve owned motorcycles since my 14 birthday. I’m now 66. If not for Two heart attacks and problem with balance, I would be on my way to Nashville pronto. Beautiful bike, It will sell soon.1 point

If no one else claims this by 12am I will take it. I’m on a self imposed no buy, giving myself a time limit, but all quarantine I had my eyes on the PSA 15-22 kit. With the upgrades this is a steal to have a dedicated .22lr trainer. She’d get a kick out of it plinking off the porch.1 point

We only lost power for a few minutes. Just enough that several clocks needed resetting... minor inconvenience. I have several Siege Streamlights stationed all the house. I keep a propane canister camping stove in the garage. There will be coffee no matter what! And from living through countless Hurricanes in SW MS and N.O. I keep a little Honda gennie in the garage and have a window unit AC in my bedroom. I appreciate my creature comforts as I get older. Checked my little garden beds this morning and all looks good. Gonna be cutting some zucchini and yellow squash in a couple of days. Still waiting for my green tomatoes to ripen <sigh>.1 point

Ain’t a big deal. The house is still standing. I’m starting to miss electricity though. I drug out an old box of camping stuff earlier and made a pot of coffee on the grill.1 point

I've only shot a few handguns. Having never shot a 1911 or 2011 I'd say my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 for general shooting. My Shield Plus is my favorite CCW. I'd like to eventually shoot a well-tuned 1911 sometime to see what all the hubbub is about. Or maybe a Sig P210.1 point

Thank you for that resource. I don’t know why he never popped up on all the searches I did. I just started on his first video. This looks like what I need.1 point

So the owners manual didn't offer much help but I got it to kick start in neutral with no clutch. Very odd. It started on the second kick. The only thing the manual mentions is that if it doesn't start you can try giving it a little throttle while kicking. @BigK, there is no choke on this bike.1 point

This is for use with the Brownell‘s BRN-180 uppers. It is a updated version of the old AR 18/180. it is a piston system, and therefore does not require a buffer tube. The rail on the rear allows you to install any one of the various pic rail attachment style braces or stocks. I have one and I am a fan of the platform.1 point

Well it finally happened to me. Had everything worked out with a new member who agreed to purchase my Dillon 750XL that I have listed. I emailed, then texted, and finally we had a phone conversation about it and set up a meet for me to deliver it to were they worked at and make the deal. Like a fool I tore it all down and boxed it up along with about $200 worth of extras that I was going to thow in to get them started. Got a text message from them saying they talked to a friend and they told them the 750XL wasn't a good press because it aouto indexes. I'm really disappointed in this, I've only had one bad transaction on here and that was like 8yrs ago. Just goes to show you that trying to be nice and help someone out doesn't always work out. This day in age there is no Integrity in people anymore, I've never backed out of a deal here even if what I was purchasing wasn't quite up to the description. Oh well, Live and Learn.1 point

It's hard to pick favorites, but I have too much fun per dollar with my TX22. Cheap to buy and shoot, surprisingly great trigger, just works. My favorite purchase though is probably my Walther Model 7. Got a good deal on a pristine example, and I happen to be fond of pocket pistols and early 20th century firearms.1 point

I voted to legalize pot in Washington, thinking that doing so would remove the criminal element from the trade. It didn't work that way, though, as illegal pot became easier to get and less risky for the sellers. The legal pot is available EVERYWHERE. There are stores in every small town, so if a person wants to be legal they can go and get their dope there. But that dope is taxed, and the business have overhead that makes the legal stuff considerably more expensive than the illegal stuff. So the illegal stuff is still there, and arguably more popular than ever. You can safely carry black market dope without fear of arrest since it's indistinguishable from the legal stuff. The instances of driving under the influence increased significantly in Washington, too, after marijuana was legalized. If I had it to vote on again I would vote against legalization. That law of unintended consequences is a big one.1 point

I'm retired from federal service. After the state of Washington legalized marijuana one of the guys in my division was seen smoking on a golf course. He lost his security clearance immediately, and since he had no security clearance I had to fire him. I sure hope that was worth it to him.1 point
