The PIF thread is pretty dead so I thought I would post this here. These items are free for pickup in Murfreesboro.4 points

ADVICE FOR ANYONE MOVING TO TENNESSEE: 1. Save all bacon grease. You will be instructed later how to use it. 2. If you do run your car into a ditch, don't panic. Four men in the cab of a four wheel drive with a 12-pack of beer and a tow chain will be along shortly. Don't try to help them. Just stay out of their way. This is what they live for. 3. Remember: "Y'all" is singular. "All y'all" is plural. "All y'all's" is plural possessive. 4. Get used to the phrase "It's not the heat, it's the humidity.” And the collateral phrase "You call this hot? Wait'll August." 5. Don't tell us how you did it up there. Nobody cares. 6. If you think it's too hot, don't worry. It'll cool down-in November. 7. A Mercedes-Benz is not a status symbol, a Chevy, Dodge, or Ford is. 8. If someone says they're "fixin" to do something, that doesn't mean anything's broken. 9. The value of a parking space is not determined by the distance to the door, but the availability of shade. 10. If you are driving a slower moving vehicle, on a two lane road pull onto the shoulder that is called "courtesy". 11. BBQ is a food group. It does NOT mean grilling burgers and hot dogs outdoors. 12. Yes, weddings, funerals, and divorces must take into account for UT Football games. 13. Everything is better with Ranch dressing. 14. DO NOT honk your horn at us to be obnoxious, we will sit there until we die. 15. We pull over and stop for funerals and emergency vehicles to pass. 16. We respect the flag and the national anthem. 17. In most instances, "Bless your Heart" is a nice way of saying you're an idiot. 18. No matter what kind of soft drink: Sprite, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Mtn Dew, it isn't called soda or pop. It is all called "Coke." 19. We throw our hands up at random strangers passing by. It’s normal. 20. There will always be a tractor on the two lane when you are running late, so allow time for that. 21. Sweet tea is a food group. 22. Yonder IS a word. 23. If you don't like the weather in Tennessee, wait 15 minutes, it will change.4 points

GAFS is the quick road to bankruptcy! However it is a great place to find used gear and I feel generally pretty safe dealing with high flair users for transactions. I would be very hesitant to spend hundreds of dollars on a new user without going through paypal G&S, however had no issue spending money on a high value item going through one of the mods as a proxy. If you wait for a decent deal you could pretty easily get your money back if you don't like whatever you end up with.2 points

Oh, you mean the young couples who are just out of “Kollidge” and he’s an intern at a paper clip factory and she’s a part time puppy manicurist and they have a budget of 3.5 million to go toward their “rustic” cabin as their second home? Those people?2 points

Steyr Model L Carbine 22.250 - excellent condItion. This was a special order caliber for an L Carbine - full length stock. I’d be willing to bet you won’t find a nicer one either, AND including a German 3-post reticle Mannlicher scope that came on the gun in the 70’s. As the pics show, it’s a double trigger (set trigger) setup. It’s also the magnificent hammer forged twisted barrel as well. Stunning piece. I’d “like” to trade for a mint Benelli SBE 20 gauge pkg… but since that’s a long shot to find for a trade, I’ll also price mine at $1600 Cash. You’re welcome to text me at seven31*617*seven388 with any questions.1 point

Gov Lee's pressure to strip Tennessee citizens of their constitutional rights with his Red Flag law, gets the attention of a 2A supporter in the state of Washington. I appreciate the video's this guy puts out there in YouTube, bringing attention to news around the nation, and explaining things in an easy to understand manner. Tennessee, a state teetering on the brink of gun control1 point

5.1 lbs or about 208 rounds of once fired 6.5 Creedmoor brass. These are not scavenged off the ground at the range, I removed these cases one at a time as I shot from a bolt action rifle. So I expect they are in better shape than stuff sitting on the ground and getting stepped on. They are from various brands but mostly Hornady and Federal from their Match or Hunting lines (no surplus). I am in Murfreesboro and would prefer to hand this off in person rather than shipping it but can ship it if buyer pays the actual shipping cost. I don't reload, I kept these just to keep a count of how many rounds I have fired through this rifle. Therefore I am not really sure of the value and can only find cleaned/tumbled prices online (about $60/100) so pricing is my best guess of $80 for the lot, or your best offer. Will consider trades, let me know what you have.1 point

I use (and like) AntennaPod. I too listened to The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill, and the bonus episode with Tim Keller was my favorite. It helped me appreciate why he became such a "celebrity" (for luck of a better word). I listened to the first episode of In Plain Sight: Lady Bird Johnson. I found it interesting, but I'm going to catch up with Project 22:3 before I continue that one. Am I in serious need for mental health services, or is everyone else hearing Better Help ads on most of their podcasts, too?1 point

Getting out of AKs altogether, so here is my last one. This Bulgarian AK74 was built from a kit imported prior to the barrel ban so it has an original Bulgarian barrel. Rifle built by T.Mark Graham of Arizona Response Systems on a Nodak Spud receiver. That alone makes this a premium rifle. Rifle has been upgraded with a US Palm grip, extended charging handle and Ukrainian made flash hider. Will come with 10 Bulgarian, steel reinforced polymer mags and 1k rds of Red Army Standard 5.45x39 ammo and 100rds of Hornaday Black Vmax 5.45. $2200 I have an additional 3k of Red Army Standard 5.45x39 available to buyer of rifle @ $500 per case. Will be listed separately at $600 per case.1 point

Taylor thinks we are all incapable of enjoying the natural rights enshrined in our Constitutions...not only did he kill the long gun carry, but the removal of the criminal intent to go armed.1 point

Could not agree more, we are about the business of filing suits currently. Plus, we are instituting a 501 (c) (3) for the sole purpose of litigation. We currently have a suit, in concert with Gun Owners of America against the State regarding carry in parks, as it will be the easiest to win, in which we assert that the State has invoked a "gun free zone" on the entire state under 39-17-1307 (a) (1). We have standing and have been granted the case. They moved to dismiss of course as we named Lee and Skrmetti as defendants, as is required, but have refiled naming Commissioner of Department of Safety and the Gibson County Sheriff and their DA as that is the district we filed in. Narrow set of facts, but if you take the low hanging fruit, you start the lineage of wins to come out on top. To your point, I attach a copy of the suit. It should be noted that the jurisdiction it is filed in required TFA to NOT be a party to the suit, so we got with GOA to invest time and money in it as well, though we will argue the case. https://tennesseefirearms.com/2023/02/state-of-tennessee-sued-in-action-seeking-to-declare-the-parks-statute-to-be-unconstitutional/1 point
