I haven't seen these available for a while. Both J&G Sales and AIMSurplus have them posted for about $550. Jay3 points

Knocked off another State. Just got back from Kansas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma the weather was just brutal. Rained and stormed every day we was there. Kansas however was great. Dad and I both tagged birds. So far I've harvested turkeys in TN (of course), Texas, Michigan, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Florida and now Kansas.2 points

Gov Lee's pressure to strip Tennessee citizens of their constitutional rights with his Red Flag law, gets the attention of a 2A supporter in the state of Washington. I appreciate the video's this guy puts out there in YouTube, bringing attention to news around the nation, and explaining things in an easy to understand manner. Tennessee, a state teetering on the brink of gun control2 points

I keep getting people offering to trade me my bike for their Frankensteined junk. Bikes that have had their top end replaced. All kinds of aftermarket parts. Frame replaced. No way am I taking a risk on some bike with a history like that. I want something basically stock, in decent condition, with an owner that can communicate normally. I may have set the bar too high when it comes to Facebook marketplace.2 points

Irregular tire wear. Loose head bearings. Glazed rotors. Brake fluid color. Worn wheel and swing arm bearings. Spoke tension. Farkles usually don't add much to the price for me, unless it's something I really want. Dead cold (hand on crank case) start. Look at the other vehicles the seller has, are they clean and well maintained? I'll add a couple things.... make yourself a checklist. Is easy to get excited and skip over something important. Take a riding buddy along for a 2nd set of eyes. They have no vested interest so they might be more objective.2 points

Hello all, Just arrived in TN from the shackles of CA where my wife and I were born and raised. We look forward to all the great things TN has to offer. We enjoy our 5 grandkids, I enjoy playing golf, reloading and of course shooting. Hate to say goodbye to my long hard fought CCW journey but look forward to a much easier one here Until we meet up somewhere... Rick1 point

These have been sitting in the safe for several years doing nothing. I thought I'd throw them out here just to see what I could get. Bear in mind that I don't need to sell them, I've just lost interest in them. Cash prices are firm for now. Forgive the pictures. I just ain't much of a photographer. Buyers must be Tennessee residents, be legal to buy a handgun, show ID and fill out a BOS. Beretta 85FS Cheetah .380 acp Made in 2016. This gun is in excellent condition. I've only fired 50 rounds through it. Function was flawless. Comes with 3 magazines, cardboard box, plastic case and all paper work. $650 Taurus PT-25 DAO .25 acp Excellent condition. This gun is Double Action Only. Comes with 2 magazines, plastic case and manual. $200 Possible trades: I'm open to just about anything. No shotguns or plastic guns. Always looking for 1911s, S&W, Colt or other quality revolvers, .22 rifles or pistols, Also kinda fond of oddballs. Make me an offer!1 point

I don’t think Bearcats are inherently inaccurate, they are just hard to shoot well due to the size. Maybe get some oil up into the action, get some snap caps (or yellow drywall anchors, they’re cheap and fit perfectly) and dry fire it a while to break it in.1 point

Top end replacements on a 2 stroke are a fairly normal thing, they don't last forever. It does still happen on 4 strokes, but is much less common. If the mileage is relatively low, then its clearly been run hard and put up wet. And yes, dirt frankenbikes are pretty common as well. I think your best bet is to find one that was used as a stepping stone to something bigger. Don't take that as an insult... lots of dirt riders think horsepower is a substitute for skill.1 point

A fairly large proportion of used dirt bikes are going to have issues. Most dirt-bike riders wring their little necks. I would pay attention to WHO is selling it. If it's a young guy the bike may have been thrashed harder than if an older guy is selling it. But I agree with Greg above that overall condition is going to be a good indicator. You can generally tell if a dirt bike has been kept clean and maintained. One that's been used the way it was meant to be used will show the signs.1 point

I upgraded the sites to Trijicons. Comes with 4 mags, 3 are Glock, one is aftermarket. One of the Glock mags has ext and the other 2 have the pinky ext. The holster is a tulster that fits the tlr6. I added a Talon rubber grip decal. Nice setup just wanna explore a S&W shield plus. You can take it home for $475 firm. No neg, must be 21 and be a TN resident. I also have this listed on ARMSLIST. No CASE.1 point

Overall condition is a pretty reliable gauge. Sprockets, chain, wheel bearings, tires, brakes. Are the front forks leaking? Obviously, crank it and take it for a spin. Does it run right? Shift right? Handle bars straight? Smoking? Ain’t much you can hide in a dirt bike. It’s all right out there in the open to see.1 point

A 14 year old boy used a slingshot to save his 8 year old sister from a would be kidnapper. Smart and brave kid. https://www.theblaze.com/news/michigan-boy-thwarts-abduction-sister-slingshot1 point

As long as it didn't have one of those forearm braces he should be ok. Maybe he needs to upgrade to the 2nd. pic.1 point

I got an email and a text from Chase Saturday morning that they had declined a charge for .76 in England for Twinning Tea. It asked if i made that charge and when I said no, they canceled my card and are send me a new one. It also said to check my account for other fraud charges and when I did there was one for 126 bucks from walmart.com. I called them to dispute it and they said they would remove it. Hate having to get a new card. I check my bank daily for fraud and guess I will need to start checking my credit card as well. I usually inly check it when I make a chare or pAY IT OFF.1 point

I am reluctantly posting my Noveske up for sale. This is a build with 95% Noveske parts. The only parts that are not Noveske is the break and the buttstock. This thing is an amazing shooter with normal 55gr ball. Very accurate! The pic I am posting is before I sold the scope and it will not come with the bipod. I have some extra Nokeske accessories I can throw in. The first $2300 takes it!1 point

Makes you wonder if it was an assault slingshot that the left will add to their list of naughty weapons.1 point

I caught this last fraud charge while it was still pending. The bank blocked it and canceled the card. Walmart didn't even have the order in their system (maybe it got canceled by the thief, who knows?). Same as last time, I'm just glad it was a credit card, not my debit card.1 point

I had a $3,000 digital camera delivered to my doorstep a few years ago. It was charged to my wife's card but apparently it had to be delivered to the address affiliated with the card itself. We called the card company and returned the camera to where it came from. No problems. They also sent us a new card after cancelling the old one.1 point

I miss the days of mil-surplus stores everywhere and Gun Shows that were actually Gun Shows. Nowadays I mostly just order on the net as that’s where most of the only deals are anymore, but there is something so hollow in that. I miss the smell (a lovely faint essence of cosmoline, gun leather, and cigars) and the tactile nature of it all. I remember when my favorite mail was the latest Shotgun News.1 point

Everyone I know who had their credit card info stolen had it happen at a restaurant. No way I’m letting someone walk off with my card.1 point

That sucks. My card got hacked several years ago. The card company called me about it and refunded the money then canceled my card. The charge was made in Jacksonville, FL. I have never been there. I figured my card got skimmed at a gas pump. Apparently that crime is growing and thieves are getting more sophisticated at doing it. Now I pay with the cashier just because I don't trust the card readers. Especially the ones that aren't monitored closely.1 point

I have had my card number used in California, New York, and England on three different occasions. The California chargers got over 4,000.00 in appliances. Card company refunded every time. I don't use debit card any longer, only credit card. I call and give them my itinerary when we travel now. One time we were on the road and the card was canceled. We always try and take some cash with us now. Every time this happened it really bothered me.1 point

Our card company told us once that some thieves sorta go fishing. They make small purchases on lots of cards to verify which are still open. My wife had it happen with a 99 cent Apple song. The bank said then they either resell the verified good numbers or use the ones still open in a while figuring they are watched less.1 point
