if you leave the gate open the cows will wander off But if you intentionally leave the gate open you want the cow to wander off. You can’t blame stupidity or laziness. It was intentional6 points

I'm clearing out some of the extras in my collection, I am getting older and have two daughters who have zero interest in firearms. This gun was actually from my grandfathers general store in Dyersburg TN, has a price written of 39.50 on the box. If you are looking at this , you probably already know these are pretty collectible for some reason, I believe they were actually made by Astra...This has literally sat in the safe since I got it years ago, I will never fire it and don't really have anyone to leave it to, so it's for sale. I think you would have to look super hard to find another unfired like this one. I love the looks of it as to me it appears like a miniature 1911 Anyway, pickup in Bartlett TN, bill of sale required5 points

A Pair of Ruger Single Six 5 1/2" barrel 22 pistols. The are three screw model, but most importantly they are flat loading gate models which are harder to source. These were purchased by my father in the 50's. I have shot them many times, the barrels still look great. I'm just starting to clear out stuff I don't use or need, Im not getting any younger and after losing my wife of 45 years about a month ago, I realized that some things are more important in life than just stuff collecting for the sake of stuff collecting...I have two daughters and neither are interested in all in firearms. Im slowly getting rid of my collectibles so it will be easier for my girls once I'm gone. They would prefer the money over the collectibles. The serials on these are not sequential, but they were purchased at the same time. 36xxx and 38xxx, I believe he was stationed in California when he purchased them. Very good condition considering age. I can only upload a few pics because of size, but can send more if you need, just pm me with an email Pickup in Bartlett TN, bill of sale required Give these guys a good home somebody, they aren't going to get any cheaper for sure4 points

I agree with your logic and I use to live on a ranch and we had 100 head of cattle at times or more. And if you leave the gate open a few cows will wander off. After you put the cow back in the pasture using a Cattle Prod the cows learn not to go out the open gate. The Border Patrol and Ice have took these people back and put them back in their country and they have caught the same ones several times and took them back over and over. I suggest a Cattle Prod to teach them to stay home....jmho3 points

Nah. I’ve been to plenty across the country. I’m well familiar with the immaculate condition of them. They’re that way in every single one I’ve ever visited. They’re not allowed to decay. Every location across the country is run at the same standard.3 points

Have a CZ75 pre b up for grabs. Has a fresh cerakote job applied by Iron Horse Gunworks. A great handgun with a great finish. The pre B's are getting harder to come by. Truly a nice piece for the CZ collector. Will come with 2 mags but unfortunately the case went missing years ago. Can send more pics to anyone interested. $550.002 points

See pictures, purchased a while back from the original purchaser, He thought he did shoot a mag through it, but upon inspection, it appears unfired, but you are welcome to look at it and decided for yourself. I can send more pictures, it only allows me a few. Pick up in Bartlett TN, bill of sale needed2 points

On local news tonight Lori Lighthead. Was complaining about illegals being sent to Chicago. She said. they don’t have the infrastructure to deal with them. But Chicago is a sanctuary city. But in reality don’t want them.2 points

What I'm hoping for is the session to be called to order, the subject addressed and a huge overwhelming "NOPE!" and everybody goes back home.2 points

I prefer Culver's burgers and milkshakes. For me, the unique favor of Culver's burgers paired with a Vanilla milkshake with fries tastes great to me. I have not eaten a What-A-Burger nor In-n-Out burgers in order to compare with Culver's burgers.2 points

@Erik88 I agree with @BigK, get the Honda w/EFI and pass on the carbureted Kawasaki. With crap ethanol fuel, EFI is less problematic over the long haul. I had a KLX250S that leaked oil from the get go, so not as keen on the Kawi's since then. Honda should be a good investment for you when you outgrow the 125cc & decide to go bigger (easier resale; holds value better.)2 points

I've recently started casting for .45, with a 230 gr truncated cone mold from Lee. I got probably 100 lbs of some sort of lead/antimony blend from my grandfather's basement. Then, when getting some tires changed, made friends with the shop owner who gave me free access to take as many of their old wheel weights as I wanted, so I took about 100 lbs of wheel weights home. I've got one of those Lee melting pots, so its pretty easy to set temp and watch the lead melt off and the steel and Zinc float to the top. Still very much learning all this, but I did get to shoot my first batch of cast bullets the other day, and they shot pretty well!1 point

SOLD Glock 42 for sale. I purchased it new and made a few changes. I added new night sights (just front) and a black "u" rear sight, changed the slide lock to the extended slide lock, changed the slide stop to the extended slide stop. I also had a Ghost Pro Connector put in it. I will have to look around and see if I have the factory parts. Included is 500 hundred rounds of 95 grain FMJ and half a box of Speer Gold Dot hollow points. The pistol will come with 7 magazines. 2 are still in the packing and 4 have Pierce pinky extensions. My goal was to carry the pistol but never did and it has been hanging around the back of my safe for years. $550.00 dollars. Must have a TN photo ID but carry permit would excellent.1 point

That is clearly a meme made by a city boy. A real country boy wouldn't have so many empty slots in the racks and the drawers would be full of ammo-n-camo.1 point

Yes! I found myself in awe of some of the people involved. I found myself in tears several times listening to them - that despite everything they’ve been through they not only had their faith intact - but were thriving. Some of those bonus episodes left me so hopeful. There’s a saying that I love - and use often, and it’s “as churches were going to disappoint you. And when we do - don’t leave. Because if you leave you’re going to miss the Spirit shining through and filling in those cracks.” I think we’re witness to that here. The Spirit is still at work. That’s the whole crux of it to me. If I can take the liberty of preaching the gospel - salvation comes to communities. I need my people. My family needs our people. It’s one thing when things are going great in our lives - faith is pretty easy the. But life is hard sometimes - and that’s when a local faith community is so important. Sometimes you need someone who can prop you up. Sometime you need someone who can believe for you for a while. And maybe sometimes I can be that person for someone else. I believe in a new heavens and new earth. But I also fully believe that eternity starts today - and that we can participate in it starting today. Despite the brokenness - the beauty can still shine through. All that to say - let me offer encouragement on that journey. Glad you enjoyed the podcast. You must’ve been listening in your sleep - that was a commitment.1 point

Hell, the Guard is there to welcome and help take care of them. They aren't allowed to confront the illegals, so they get to be their keepers.1 point

It really is. Never made that connection before, but it’s a perfect analogy.1 point

Back before Rockfish I did like you and used catfish. I would run about 25 limb lines on the Harpeth River and catch Flathead cats weighing 15 to 20 pounds and we would filet them and cook some and freeze some some times my mother and father wanted fried so I let them do the cooking and i did the eating....LOL1 point

I’ve been one since I was a teenager. It prepared me well for life as a truck driver. In other words y’all gave me a hankering so I braved the hell that is the 310 exit off of 75 in Adairsville, GA just so I could walk across the street to the Buccees here.1 point

Ain't that the truth. We had What-A-Burgers in Memphis when I was a kid. I loved 'em! So when they came back just recently, I got all excited. I've eaten at the new one once. I won't be going back.1 point

Thanks all, I try to get over there at least every other month to stay somewhat sharp but not always easy with 2 kids. Luckily they've taken interest in shooting so we can occasionally get some family time in.1 point

Good eye...very close, chain driven 1978 Suzuki GS100L. My uncle had it in a storage shed in his back yard. I bought it off him for $800 and sold it for $800 nearly 15 years later with high miles and lots of big maintenance due that I couldn't afford.1 point
