For sale is my Ruger SP101 3" 6-shot in .327 Federal. This cartridge was hyped as having much of the same ballistics as .357 out of a short barrel with less recoil and ability to chamber an additional round. It is also able to chamber .32 H&R mag, .32 Long, .32 Short, and .32 ACP. This is a rare revolver in this chambering and this ammo is exceptionally scarce hence the pricing over what you would expect for a standard SP101. Included: Meprolight night sight (about 3 yrs old) Pachmayr Renegade grip Factory grip Factory box Don Hume holster 200+ rounds of Federal 100 gr JSP 1 box Aguila .32 long 2 ammo strips 2 boxes (40 rds) of Speer Gold Dot 100 gr Ammo can Asking $1100 $1000 for this package or $1200 $1100 trade value. Can meet around Chattanooga.4 points

This is a Colt AR-15 model CSR-1516. The acronym stood for "Colt Sporting Rifle" This was a gun designed for entering 3-gun competitions and excells at it with it's accuracy. It's topped with a Burris MTAC 1-4 LVPO in a Larue LT-104 mount. The buttstock and grip are both from LaRue Tactical. The round count on this one is SUPER low, likely under 200. Here's a list of what this one has with basic retail costs to give you an idea of the value: - Burris MTAC 1-4 LVPO ($400) - LaRue LT-104 Mount ($258) - LaRue Stock & Grip ($85) - Magpul MBUS back up sights ($80) - JP Enterprises 2-port compensator ($110) - KNS Trigger pins ($35) Accessories Total: $968 Sale Price: $1,000 Here is a link to the magazine review of the rifle so you know what it's about: https://www.tactical-life.com/firearms/csr-1516-hot-blooded-cool-colt-rifle/3 points

I have to keep calling my Attorney buds, they have software that can get the updates, it is still about 18 days out I think.2 points

hopefully I will never have to experience actual performance in my reloads. Yes, I have a few hundred rounds of reloaded XTPs. but I will trust the factory results and buy in kind. Carry what local LEO uses or FBI recomendations. Those tests will stand in court if necessary. Won't invite or create a rabbit hole for a prosecuter.2 points

Or, possibly, gummy oil in the firing pin channel. Weak hammer spring is possible if someone has tried to do a back yard trigger job (ie... didn't know what they were doing). Personally, I would take bolt out of rifle and give through cleaning and light lube. Then retry. I am leaning to agree with RED333, very good possibiity of binding springs.2 points

I stole this idea from a guy named Felix Immler on YouTube. I mounted a bubble level in the scale of my Victorinox Ranger. I'll probably never need to see if something is level with my SAK, but it's always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Any SAK fans here? Got any cool tips, tricks, or suggestions for Swiss Army Knives? Got a favorite model?1 point

For consideration is a Mossberg 500 pistol grip corncob forend Gun is used works as it should. Some one put a hole in forend I guess for a sling otherwise normal wear shoots up to a 3 inch. Barrel 18 and a half would make a good truck gun or house defense meet in Loudon West Knoxville area FTF 240.001 point

Hello, I have an Atlas Nyx V2 for sale. It has about 1500 rounds thru it and is in my opinion just at the point where it is broken in. It shoots incredibly as I'm sure you all are aware. It is painful for me to have to sell it but I'm retiring from the Army in about 6 months so I'm just trying to be responsible (according to my wife.) Anyways, I'm asking $4700 but will consider reasonable offers. After taxes and fees I paid just over $5,700 so I think it's a decent deal. It will come with 2x 21 round mags. It has a small cosmetic defect near the front sight but nothing major. Other than that it is beautiful. And I'll just say again it shoots incredibly flat. I can send you more pictures if you'd like.1 point

I just moved from North Carolina to Ft. Campbell (the TN side). I was apart of a similar forum in NC and am looking forward to being able to have the same community of sorts here. I mostly deal on the more "tactical" side of guns and accessories but would like to get into more precision shooting and reloading.1 point

Reciprocity would be an issue. Would eventually see the ECP having some additional privilge, as a way to encourage usefulness and training.1 point

When you're checking the firing pin itself, check the mechanism in the bolt that blocks the firing pin when the bolt is not locked. It's been a long time since I looked inside a 336 so I can't offer any detailed suggestions or instructions, but it's another place to clean and look for worn parts.1 point

That explains why I've never heard of STEU, lol. I've worked with OCU and Cargo Theft and would hate to see them banned because of idiotic knee-jerk reactive politics.1 point

Credit card companies already categorize and track all your purchases. They provide it as a service. That data has been able to be subpoenaed and used as evidence for a long time. This is nothing new.1 point

I am not a gun smith, but I am thinking the firing pin spring is binding and not letting the firing pin move forward enough to hit the primer every time. I would buy a new spring and try that.1 point

They handed over credit card information of clients to the FBI that were tied into JAN 6. In other words, if you paid for lodging in DC anywhere around that date and used a BOA card you could have your purchase history used as evidence.1 point

Favor the Sig Elite V-Crown bullets. 124 gr 9mm and 125 gr 38 spl +P compact handgun are two I carry. Appreciate that both perform well in tests and that they are affordable. Affordable means I can cycle a mag or cylinder without worrying about going broke, If I carry 9mm ammo so expensive am afraid to shoot it, albeit sparingly, it may or may not function in the gun when needed, JMO, you asked for opinions and I have a LOT OF THEM! p.s. Not in favor of the 147 gr in a micro compact. In a duty pistol, yeah.1 point

If they are able to prove it wasn’t locked, don’t you think they could use that technology/expertise to discourage burglary? I’ve about decided the entire police/court system is nothing more than a revenue generator.1 point
