I guess I'll be the resident A-hole here but where the hell was her family when she was discharged ? There's selfies with her and her daughter? posted while in the hospital bed. No way I'm letting them set mom on the curb and me not be there to get her. That's the first tragedy in this incident. Im not dismissing the actions that followed but for her family to come on after and point fingers is unsettling.5 points

I’ll be the first to put my toe in the water. I worked as an EMT for 12 years and everything on this video goes against the care I was trained to render. I would love to really unload on the police and medical staff, but fear of my comments living forever in print and could come back to bite me in the ass later. THE PROBLEM IS THAT SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL AND FINDING PEOPLE WITH ANY MEASURE OF SHAME IS GETTING HARDER TO DO EVERY DAY. IN THE WORLD I GREW UP IN PEOPLE HAD THE DECENCY TO SHOW COMPASSION AND CARE. I FEAR CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS ARE ABOUT TO BE CALLED UPON. OMG THIS MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH.5 points

That was incredibly sad. I understand the police deal with people who are acting and making things seem worse but this woman was clearly struggling. They didn't show an ounce of compassion. Jail is the last place that woman needed to be. I'm not sure what happened to protect and serve but we seem to stray further from that every day.3 points

I really like my Governor. Very versatile and better built than the equivalent Taurus with the additional advantage of shooting 45ACP, lots cheaper than 45 Long Colt. I use it a lot to shoot .410 to do carpenter bee skeet. You just have to be aware of which way you're pointing, they vaporize when you get a clean hit.3 points

I've been wanting to toy around with a handgun with an optic that's easily concealable. Initially I was leaning towards the XL model but once I put my hands on the Macro, I really liked the size and mag capacity. I'm pretty "meh" about the slide compensator concept to be honest. I would almost rather just have the same size with a full length barrel. The end goal is to put a Holosun 507k on it. All the reviews I've read say it's a solid optic. Yes, I've looked at the hellcat as an alternative, It's fine I suppose but I'm not a big modern Springfield fan. I'm also not a Glock fan (grip angle woes). Anyone with experience? Any thoughts? Appreciate the input.2 points

Sig 556, side charging, adjustable long stroke gas piston operating system. This is the smoothest shooting 5.56 I have owned, almost non-existent recoil. I had a red dot mounted so I took off the sights. They will come with the rifle or if you prefer I can reinstall them (about a 5 min process). Takes standard AR mags. Selling to fund other projects. Thanks for looking.2 points

LWRC SMG 45 in excellent condition. This one does not have the "random flyer" issue. It did when I got it but LWRC fixed it (for free) and it is all good now. It groups amazingly well. It is very accurate. Includes 4 extra 25 round magazines ($50 each) plus the 2 that came with the gun for a total of 6. Also includes a magazine loader ($40) and original box and manual too. These are $2995 MSRP and go for $2300-$2999 on auction sites. I am asking $2,200 for a FTF meeting in Murfreesboro. Happy to answer any questions about it. Can provide targets showing groups or even shooting video if needed to demonstrate how well it functions.2 points

I'll never sell any of my P320s or P365s. Their modular design makes them incredibly versatile and "cheap" to tinker with.2 points

Great pistol! Owned one for a while and traded to another buddy. (Yeah I do have a couple of friends. LOL Not many.) Anyway, the Model 41 is great, and so is tercel89! A standup guy all around. Dealt with him many times, always good man to deal with. Actually found a couple of my "buys" while rummaging around in the safe last night. Buy with the confidence of a Glock and a great member.2 points

So I am the proud owner of a 1969 built Marlin 336RC in .30-30. It came with a vintage (I hope 1969) Weaver K4 scope mounted and a sling. The bluing is in great shape and the wood is beautiful. It doesn’t look like anyone ever made the mistake of adding varnish to the wood. I think it is almost as pretty and nice as the ‘25 Model 94.2 points

This item is a S&W .22/32 hand ejector pistol, commonly called (erroneously) a Bekeart. This particular pistol appears to have been made in approximately 1914-1919 since it has the two screw stock which was discontinued in 1919 but it has the logo on the right side which occurred in 1914 and the serial number is below 321,000 which was produced in 1920 when they first began heat treating the cylinders. This makes this gun about 106 years old as well as not technically a true Bekeart as it was not shipped to Mr Bekeart. Cosmetically there is nothing wrong with the gun whatsoever. The grips are original and unblemished walnut. The frame still maintains a high glossy finish for the majority of the pistol and the function of the gun is still in great shape. Mechanically the only "defect" I can find is that the hand ejector, while still 100% functioning, is not as smooth as it used to be. I will see if I can resolve some of this prior to sale with some TLC. The trigger is still incredibly smooth and crisp and all components are tight with no wobble or other defect in fit/finish. I am selling this gun on behalf of my pastor who inherited this firearm from the estate of his father in law. Since my pastor is not a gun guy he has asked for my help in selling the gun and I am obliging. I can meet for a sale anywhere from Franklin north up to Whitehouse/Portland area. The pastor is willing to be present at the sale if requested but if his presence is desired by you the buyer the meet would need to happen closer to Portland where the church is as he is pretty tied up there at the church literally 7 days a week. Asking $1500 as the catalog lists $1250 for a "fine version" of the gun and $2,000 for an excellent and I think this gun falls in-between those two terms.1 point

LNIB Beretta A400 Explor Action shotgun in 28 Gauge, 28" barrel. Not a mark on this fine shotgun. Great for clays or dove or quail. Comes in Beretta box with chokes and all paperwork as when new. I have only fired 125 shells (5 boxes) through this shotgun! See my other ad for a Caesar Guerini shotgun. I'm selling the shotguns I do not use! In Spring Hill near the GM plant. $13001 point

Honestly the best security for a gun in a vehicle is common sense.Don’t have any stickers, decals or anything else on your vehicle that would indicate there is a gun inside. This includes the Gadsden “don’t tread on me” vanity license plate.Last but not least, lock your doors.1 point

Every officer involved was responsible for this woman’s death. It’s every officer’s responsibility to stop wrongdoings of fellow officers.1 point

According to DA Allen per this morning news the officers involved were not directly involved with her eventual death. She had a stroke and passed the next day or 2. I'll not go deeper into what I know about the story as I've followed it since day 1. All ill say is all is not as it appears. Besides im pretty sure GrayFox couldn't bare it lol.1 point

Time stamp on the video is Feb 5. That's 3 weeks ago and we're just now hearing about it? I take pride in the fact that this old fox has a pretty thick hide. Unlike some folks, very little offends me. But this! Not only am I seriously offend, I'm just flat PISSED OFF!1 point

WTF? This woman is clearly in distress. The hospital kicked her out and then called the cops on her? There's so much wrong here I don't even know where to start. The hospital, the medical staff, the cops everybody was dead wrong. Some serious investigating and head rolling needs to happen! This gonna go viral and make the national news. All Hell is gonna break loose. Once again Tennessee gets a black eye.1 point

I had a PT145 for a while. It was the only Taurus I ever owned and the only 45acp gun I ever owned. It was a good gun and I can't say anything bad about it but it was heavier than I liked for carry. The gun wasn't heavy. It was the 45 ammo.1 point

I’m with BJB on this one. I am a 1%er collector and own or have owned… let’s say more than my fair share of handguns. The Tactical version of Arex Rex Zero 1 has ALL the bases covered and in a side by side comparison it makes Sig look like a poorer clone of IT. At any price point, I couldn’t recommend any other Tactical 9mm higher.1 point

No, I don't intend to harvest the peas. They get cut down while they're flowering and before they make pea pods. The leaves are edible, but I'm not going to bother with that. They're supposed to add nitrogen back into the soil, natural fertilizer.1 point

I'm sorry to read about your amputation, that's a shame. I've had no problem like that, but my father lost part of his right index finger in an industrial accident. He was able to continue to shoot very well after the wound fully healed. He just used the new end of his finger on the trigger. I think if I were in your situation I'd practice gripping the pistol every day for just a few minutes, working toward longer practice times. Maybe try one of those spring grip exercisers or squeeze a racquetball a few times a day. Are you seeing a physical therapist? I know that a lot of the medical profession is allergic to handguns, but here in TN we have a lot of shooters, so maybe your therapist might be able to offer up some good exercises and better answer your questions about recovery times.1 point

It is painful to hear these people in the opposition speak with such authority about automatic weapons when their ignorance and agenda are so thick they choke the air in the room. I agree that those on the side of personal freedom need to take a few minutes to be able to counter these false statements aggressively.1 point

I would agree with the 43 pick. Since the 43x and 48 came out, I think many see it as obsolete. I’ve recently given my wife my 48 and went back to a 19 for EDC. The 43 can be pocketed in shorts on those super hot, “I don’t want to wear a holster” days.1 point

Anything in .32 caliber. Pistol, revolver, .32acp or .32 S&W Long. Just about anything in .32 is very underappreciated. The big thing these days is service calibers and high capacity. The couch commandos dismiss the .32s and wouldn't even consider them. Remember that .32 acp pistols were police issue in much of Europe for decades and worked just fine. A .32 revolver was a quite common carry gun in the U.S. well into the 20th century. No its not a powerhouse. But it will get the job done if you do your part. Modern ammo has much improved its performance as well. Plus we now have the .32 H&R Magnum and the .327 Federal to further expand the .32s possibilities. The light recoil and amazing inherent accuracy make .32s a pure pleasure to shoot. I have a Walther PP in .32acp. Seems like every time I take it to the range, somebody tries to buy it from me. When the arthritis in my wife's hands got too bad for her Detective Special, we found her a 2" S&W Model 31 in .32 S&W Long. The recoil was easy for her to handle and she shot it very well. She loved that gun. For older people and those with physical issues a .32 caliber gun is perfect. Scoff if you want. You just don't know what your missing out on.1 point
