  2. Hey y'all, I'm looking to trade my Model 19-9 Performance Center 3". It's 90-95% with a slight turn line. The original ramp sight has been professionally replaced with a Meprolight tru-dot night sight however, I do have the original if you'd like to put it back on . Comes with the box/papers, a couple speed loaders, an IWB holster and an additional set of rubber grips. I've had it for a year or so and have taken it to the range only a handful of times. It's an awesome gun with a sweet trigger but figure it's time to thin the 357 herd a little. I'm down for a straight up trade, or a partial trade with cash your way or mine. A few things I'm looking for but definitely not limited to: Beretta 92X RDO compact or full Commander 1911s in 45 AR pistols no shorter than 10.3 AKs S&W Model 29-2, 29-3 8 3/8" I'm east of Murfreesboro & willing to travel to the Nashville area. Thanks fellas.

  3. And that is why I tapped out. Seems to be a trend in shows made in the last 2-3 years and I’m sick of it.

  4. Was on YouTube and come across a show that we watched. Granted it was only 30 minutes. Broderick Crawford, Highway Patrol, had Clint Eastwood is a good guy biker. Also, I’ve been watching Rawhide, Wild, Wild West, wife has the hots for Robert Conrad, Paladin, and Wyatt Earp. Also watch a little Steve McQueen in Wanted Dead or Alive.

  9. I didn't know that. Honestly, I've never watched any of his shows. I only know him from internet clips of his character. For those who don't know, Last of Us Episode 3 was about two gay survivors who found each other in the aftermath and followed their story for 20 years until one died of a normal disease and the other committed suicide over losing him. I still believe that story would have worked much better if the couple had been a straight man and a woman. It added nothing to the shows ongoing story line. Just Hollywood pushing their agenda.

  11. I've been watching The Last of Us. Decent show. Its just The Walking Dead with a different kind of Zombie. Episode 3 got a lot of attention, I guess that's why they made it. It was ok to me. Didn't really care for it, but I wasn't offended by it either. I honestly think it would have worked much better if it had been a straight couple. Just another example of woke Hollywierd. I was really surprised Nick Offerman took that role. His whole image is the super macho guy. But I do give him credit for doing a good job. I saw a little blurb somewhere on the internet that the audiences didn't like it at all. It was the lowest rated show in HBO/Max history.

  14. I am using the NRA classification system of antiques. I would categorize this as between good and very good since it doesn't have any replacement parts. For argument's sake, we will call it good. Winchester Model 1890 takedown chambered in 22 long. Serial number dates to 1904 manufacture. This makes a model 2. 24" Octagon barrel in good overall condition and still fires (although I have not done so in years). Slide action works great but could use good lubrication. I'm happy to provide additional pictures, or come on down and see it face-to-face. It is located in Mount Juliet. Withdrawn Thank you, and God Bless.

  15. You and I have a lot of interests in common, when it comes to reading. Andre Norton was my introduction into Sci/fi too. Still read plenty of it and I'm almost 60! Got Kindle unlimited and I think I'm keeping several sci/fi authors in the writing business! I'll throw in some of our favorite shows to watch. Longmire and Justified are two my wife and I highly recommend. We've watched both through twice now. Enjoyed Yellowstone, but I also think it's about run its course. 1883 was a great short series. 1923 is going to be another great short series. So far, we have enjoyed Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King. All those are Taylor Sheridan series. The guy knows how to make some great TV series!!! Of course GoT was great, right up until the end. Then they screwed it up. I've enjoyed The Lord of the Rings series on Prime. You just have to accept that it's not Tolkien Canon, and then it's great. Enjoyed the Expanse series as well, though I must confess that I enjoy reading sci/fi far more when I read it.

  16. I knew a lot of people here were gonna hate episode 3. The reality is that people are gay. I didn't find any agenda. This show is leaps and bounds better than The Walking Dead.

  21. Sadly, they have the ultimate vehicle to haul their agenda into the future. If they flood entertainment with those images, most people will believe it's as common as something in widespread usage like say an AR-15s with a pistol brace when it's really only as common as something like .45 GAP.

  22. I haven’t watched it so I don’t know what you’re referring to. But Offerman is a pretty liberal leaning guy. And if you are familiar with his standup, you’ll see that.

  24. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~

  25. Honestly probably not. I bet there are a couple in photo albums somewhere. They were all in the 90's and very early 2000's before the days (for me at least) of social media, constant cell phone use, and good cameras on those cell phones. I think I was still rocking that big Motorola brick of a phone you could not kill back then, I might have moved to a Nextel by then. I bet I have something in an old photo album but I have never gone back and digitized that stuff. My 88 caught fire, electrical, and had minor damage. I needed to pull the engine bay harness and replace it but eventually sold it off to a fellow road racer that had a damaged shell. Someone punted him off a turn at VIR and so he swapped his entire drivetrain and suspension into my decent shell after repainting the hood.

  26. As an update, I went with the Burris RT-6 1-6x24. It was far superior to the PA 1-6x24 ACSS. The PA was great till I compared it head to head with the Burris. The Burris I can truly use as a 1x. The PA had a lot fish eye distortion and the 1x was noticably off.

  30. I’ve already purchased a HP Reverb G2 V2. It has pretty good ratings for a mid priced headset. If I stick with flying I’ll more than likely upgrade to the Valve unit. I hear Apple is going to hit the market with a game changer this year. I also have Trackir5. I’ve yet to setup the vr headset. I’ve set MSFS aside for the moment. I’m currently learning the A10 Warthog in DCS. I fell in love with that aircraft during my military days. I’m having to take so many notes and do repetitious actions it feels like I’m in actual flight school. I love that you can’t jump into a plane and fly. It’s taken a week to perfect the startup and takeoff sequence. I haven’t even gotten into navigation and weapons. It really keeps the mind occupied.

  32. I'm tired of Beth Dutton and all the memes saying Rip is a real man because he supports his woman no matter what. If Rip were real and had a two digit IQ, he would drop that unstable b*tch like a bad habit. I didn't even start GOT until after it had ended. It just seemed too Dungeons-and-Dragonsish to me. I finally watched the first season and was surprised. I then decided to read the books to figure out exactly who was who. Ha! And I thought the show had a lot going on. After reading all five books, I went back to the show and loved it. I once heard someone ask, "What fictional character would you like to have dinner with?" No brainer - Tyrion Lannister.

  33. I just HAVE to say this about that final Longmire Season! Walt FINALLY gets it on with Vic! A long awaited event! In the novels it actually happens much sooner. And Walt almost has a fling with Vic's Mom! Don't remember if it happens or not. Been thinking of reading the series again. Guess I will have to start now. Loved Katee Sackhoff in this show!

  34. Well, I gotta jump in here. Agree on much, disagree on more. However, I am a man of discerning taste and many of your picks are far below me. But I've been a PBS and Masterpiece Theatre junkie most of my life. Maybe that accounts for my outlook. Where's that hide under the chair emoji when I need it! Some very good picks and suggestions here though. Longmire an A+ for me and the missus. Justified right up there with it. PrisonBreak, 24, The Blacklist...meh, a great start, then faded on me. Westerns...old and new are always good choices. Early 70's TV had a lot of good stuff. Just had to wade thru the crap for it. For me, I love syfy. Good or bad, and there's a lot of the latter out there. Believe me, I know I've seen a lot of it! Remeber The Big Show? Afternoons on CBS out of Nashville Channel 5? Wish I could get some of those stinkers again, they were great. LOL! I've been a SF junkie since 8 years old. I had a substitute teacher who was, shall we say...only interested in keeping the rowdies quiet, So she read to her classed almost constantly for the 2 weeks she was there. My first exposure to SF was Andre Norton. The decent novel...Star Man's Son, followed by Daybreak 2250 A.D. I was hooked! Read everything I could get my hands on. Sorry, got a bit off topic there. Expanse is great...a space opera with politics! Bend them, I place Babylon 5, and Battlestar Galactic(the second series only, not the doodoo that Lorne Greene and Richard Hatch starred in!). Resident Alien is great! The first 2 seasons anyway. Like writers didn't know where to go next with it. They filled in with shots af Atta's ample butt, which was hidden at first. LOL. The Last of Us shows promise as long as it's not made into a Walking Dead clone. Ok, enough from me. There's so much availabe to us now that finding something to watch can be difficult. At our place...it's a simple choice; whatever John Wayne movie that the person in charge of the clicker(not me) wants to see. Followed by a multitude of western channels. Gunsmoke and Wagon Train are great choices. That or Police/Medical dramas is her preferred choice. Currently binging out on Blue Bloods. It's pretty good and has Tom Selleck! That's a plus for me. I enjoy anything he does. Which lets me end this on the Jesse Stone movies. Very enjoyable!

  36. I've been saying it since day one. She was hired simply because she's a black woman. The politically correct choice. She's never impressed me any. I don't live in Memphis, but right next door. So her lack of leadership does have an effect on my little town. I believe that all this "transparency" in the Nichols case is mostly an attempt by her to save her own butt. While these officers are obviously bad, she sure threw them under the bus awfully quick. Even before all the facts came out. CYA is not an effective leadership style.

Disclose any flaws, any blemishes, any problems. Provide clear photos when possible. Do not offer items on behalf of a friend or other third-party. Only list items that you own and are in possession of. Do not make "testing the water" types of posts. Only post if you are ready to sell or trade. Do not agree to buy or take possession of an item unless you have all of the resources (money, items for trade, etc.) necessary to complete the deal. Complete any agreed-upon transactions within seven (7) business days unless both parties agree, in writing on TGO, that an extension of this deadline is acceptable. All transactions are final, and all items are provided as-is and without warranty unless the seller/trader says otherwise. No one cares what you think about the price or availability of an item. Don't be a dick. Access to the Trading Post may be revoked if you fail to follow the rules, fail to follow the law, or fail to be honest and ethical in your dealings Haggle privately. If you are a new member and can't send a private message, just post a public reply and ask the author of the ad to contact you. Haggling does not belong in public. It is no one's business what you think an item is worth. That is between you and the seller. Suggestions for Buyers and Sellers When agreeing to meet in person, put safety first. Trust your instincts! Consider only meeting at a public place with surveillance video (police stations are great for this!) and only meeting during daylight hours. Try not to meet alone, but also be clear in advance if you will be bringing a friend as backup. No one likes to be surprised by the presence of other people if it wasn't expected. Check the TGO Trader Feedback of the buyer / seller before you commit to a transaction with them. A person having "No Feedback" is not necessarily a bad thing but watch out for people with negative ratings for past deals. Scammers love to operate in private. Be extra careful if someone with little or no public content approaches you privately regarding an ad that you posted. Consider telling them to post their reply publicly where the moderators can help keep an eye on things. Every online payment service has their own list of things you may not use their service to pay for. Failing to follow their policies could result in your account with them being terminated, funds frozen or loss of buyer/seller protection. Be sure you know what they allow. Zelle, Venmo, PayPal Friends & Family and other services may not offer much (or any) payment protection. We recommend cash for in person transactions and PayPal Goods & Services for any non-restricted sales of things that are being shipped. Again, be sure that you know what the payment service provides and allows and be sure to check buyer/seller feedback here on TGO. Be willing to pay a little more for insurance from the payment service or shipper. Why Can't I Post New Threads? Are you a Benefactor member?
