I carry hard copies. Not sure I would hand my unlocked phone over to any law enforcement agency that wanted to check my form 1 paperwork but that's just me.5 points

I'm thinking now is a great time to renew my GOA membership. I'm starting to think this won't stand. I just don't see how the ATF can defend the fact that they told us these braces were fine not once, but twice. There are now companies devoted to manufacturing braces. Who will buy a brace after this? The ATF's decision could cost jobs. It's completely ridiculous.4 points

Quite honestly, I hope most brace owners decide to ignore the "free SBR Licensing scheme", being foisted on them and tell the ATF to go f#$& themselves. If this brace ruling is allowed to stand, I think it will just a matter of time, before pistols with magazines forward of the trigger, will be placed under the NFA, just like they did the Street Sweeper back in the Clinton era. We either win the ensuing lawsuit against this rule in the Supreme Court, or we see a further eroding of our 2A rights. But if you want to SBR your pistol, go right ahead. Me, I'd just take the damn thing off and put in the closet, for a time when it may be needed.3 points

Craftsman Model 113 10” Cast Iron Table Saw Price: Free to someone who will appreciate it. I am placing this older Craftsman Model 11310” Table Saw that has a cast iron on TGO before attempting to list it anywhere else. I want it to go to a good home and someone who will enjoy it. What better place to look than here. I received this saw from the father of a friend who was moving into a smaller place after his wife died. He had it set up in the small shop he had in his garage. He said it was working when he disassembled it and gave it to me but I have not had it up a running myself. It has been sitting in my climate controlled basement since receiving it. I have realized that I am not going to utilize this saw myself and have decided to try and find someone who would appreciate it. I was considering refurbishing as some have done (see link below) but do not have the time or extra space. The saw Does Not come with any saw blades, but the motor and belt are included. Side wings, manual and other accessories that are pictured are included as well. This is a very heavy saw. Online info says it is about 250 pounds so while it appears that it could be a good contractor saw, its weight makes it one that needs to live in one location. Send me any questions you may have, and I’ll get you an answer as quickly as possible. See Attached Pictures (saw blade pictured not included) I am in Nashville. Located close to the I-65 and I-440 intersection just south of Radnor CSX rail yard. Vintage Craftsman 113 Table Saw Restore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xK7uhJV0MI42 points

Just a guess but high altitude plane like the old U2 with projectile to pierce it. Doubt shooting it would pop it. Small hole. Slow leak, slow descent, follow and be ready.2 points

One could argue that China has already released a bio agent that has not only disrupted the US economy and culture, but that of the entire planet. Popping a ballon is not going to change that. They already know our resources and readiness, they are simply trying to show dominance.2 points
-
I don't understand it. What is this balloon showing them that they don't already see with satellites? I have a hard time believing it's harmless.2 points
-
Damn thing should be shot down. If the US had a balloon floating over China guess what would happen? Now there’s a second one floating over “Latin America”.2 points
-
Actually our government has known about this since shortly after it launched in China. The payload package is what's the size of 3 buses. The thing should have been shot down when it was still over Montana or Wyoming and over unpopulated areas. Now they've done messed around and they may have to wait until it crosses out into the Atlantic before its safe to kill it. Who knows what information it can collect and send back to China by then? This is a major embarrassment for the U.S. in the eyes of the whole world. How the Hell could our government let this happen?2 points

You aren’t breaking any laws (to my understanding). You do not need to file a 5320.20 to cross state lines. You need to file a 5320.20 to cross state lines & stay the night. An example, you are traveling to Texas for a hunt. You file your 5320.20 for Texas but you don’t also need to file one for Arkansas because you are just passing through. However, if you stay the night in Arkansas, you’d have to file one there too.2 points

As a Christmas present to myself,I recently acquired a Sears and Roebuck Ted Williams Model 100 (thanks @chance77. This is a Winchester Model 94, made by Winchester for Sears. It is chambered in .30-30 and is a post ‘63 Model 94 from either the late 60s or early 70s. There are not great records of the serial numbers from these rifles, from what I can tell. The rifle came with a Weaver side plate for a Weaver side mounted scope on the left side of the receiver. Since it was already there, I went ahead and picked up the correct Weaver 1” scope mount and a vintage Armsport 3x9x34mm scope with a Duplex reticle. The side mounted scope is interesting. If I was a righty, I think it would be awkward to use. But being a lefty, it is fairly easy to just press my cheek up and into the stock move my left eye to the scope from the iron sights. I’m looking forward to getting it to my buddies range and sighting in the scope.2 points

My biggest thing is that by going from a pistol to an SBR, I am now crippled on transporting, crossing state lines, vehicle carry, and carry ability with my current HCP. I prefer to keep them in pistol status and wait this thing out. I got used to the Uzi push/pull sling method before the brace and if necessary will go back to that method.2 points

I have an “As New” Glock 34 MOS Gen 4 9mm with 3 magazines and everything that comes in the original packing, even the small screwdriver to adjust the rear sight. I purchased it when trying to shoot longer distances. I’m an older man and just don’t have the steadiness needed for those distances, so it just sits in my safe. I’ve probably shot less than 300 rounds through it. This is truly a pristine firearm as reflected in the photos. Reduced from $575.00 to $525.00 cash. Face to Face transaction around the Nashville-Franklin area. I will sell to a TN resident 21 years or older with preferably a valid HCP. I will also require completion of the ATF Private Transfer Form which is basically a bill of sale.1 point

I happened to see a fella get denied at Academy Sports today. I didn’t know him, but he sure seemed surprised. Maybe there’s some sort of glitch in the system?1 point

They sometimes deny if your full name might be close to someone who may have already been in the system. It happened to me once about 5yrs ago and was over turned on the fowling Monday. As long as you don't have any felonies you should be fine, just wait and see what happens. Welcome to the forum1 point

Hello! I have a very loaded version of what you seek. Ruger stainless 10/22 Takedown with OD green Magpul sniper stock and a binary installed. (Anything that I ever sell or trade is brand new or merely test fired) I live in the Karns area on the edge of Knoxville & have little travel capability as my wife is disabled- but I DO have my own range here and can meet nearby in public. I’m not sure how this works as I’m new to the site, but I guess message me if interested and we can text or call each other? Have a great day.1 point

Copy on that. The lawsuits have started to be filed and while this issue doesn't mirror the bump stock cases, hopefully the climate is right to get these overturned like so many other things have recently. At least buy us another year or two any way of a what is left of our eroding freedom. I have written and called all my Tennessee reps (and a few other's in the state) as well as those in another state I have property in, to let them know where I stand on this and the ATF in general. There are plenty of form letters out there that you can modify or pull info from to put one together. I may just be taking a leak into the wind but sometimes you have to get a little wet.1 point

I expect the Lautenburg Amendment to fall for the same reasonings. Like most gun laws in this country. I won’t pretend that this doesn’t elevate risk to some folks who find themselves in these situations. It would be ridiculous to do so. That said, it’s also not like those restraining orders actually did anything to stop folks who sought to do harm. They’re just pieces of paper after all.1 point

$65 but the file is good for other stamps as well, no mailing! They will mail two cards to you but I don’t think I have a use for them, I’ll just put them in my ATF file.1 point

According to the report, Baldwin missed the mandatory on-set firearms safety briefing. Then when he was getting a private safety briefing, he spent most of the time on his phone and not paying attention. He should never have been allowed to hold a gun. The production was plagued with safety issues all along to the point that some of the crew quit. The State of New Mexico has already heavily fined the production for numerous safety violations. From the DA: "The filing comes nearly two weeks after she first announced that Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed would be prosecuted for what authorities have described as a pattern of criminal disregard for safety. " The assistant Producer that actually handed Baldwin the gun struck a plea deal and avoided charges. In total, 3 people handled that gun and none of them properly checked it. In short: Baldwin thought he was too big a star to bother with the little things. That arrogance got someone killed.1 point
