  5. Carried my Max 9 to church yesterday, the first day I have been back to church since my 4 stents were put in my veins around my heart on November 21st. Also, adult RSV is getting better. Had that since 21st also and still coughing. Really like how the Ruger carries in my pocket holster. Have ran a few more rounds through it, but the days of running 500 to 1000 rounds through one to break it in is over for now. Not a cheap thing to do any longer. Still I guess I have about 475 rounds of practice and S D ammo through the Max 9 and it has been flawless. It is a good pistol, and I can say I really like it.

  6. I would contact a lawyer AND the police. Since they took your money under false pretenses and never paid the manufacturer then that's theft through fraud.

  7. Well I have two red dot pistols. One has a Holosun 507K. The other has a SIG Romeo1. If this isn’t a carry pistol, the SIG Romeo1 has a larger window. I would recommend the Romeo1Pro as it has more brightness options. Both are great in my experience

  8. There are replacement barrels that can be had. Even original Long Branch barrels have show up. If you go that route, I would send it to a professional with experience with re-barreling SMLEs. Not a job for Bubba unless you want to risk a twisted receiver. You might look for some 8mm bore brushes. The SMLE has a .311 bore, not .308. So, normal .30 brushes sometimes don't do a good job of cleaning out gunk in SMLE and 98K bores. You might also try some bore paste. I've seen barrels I thought were hopeless turn out OK after an extremely thorough cleaning.

  10. For sale is a Kahr MK9 9mm sub-compact, all metal, striker fired pistol. This little guy holds 6 rounds in the standard magazine. As you can see there is an assortment of mags included, (not all of which I have used and/or can vouch for, MK ones are definitely good though). I have the box and paperwork that came with the Kahr MK9, it looks like a late 90's date of manufacture). Asking $500.00 Here are the pics! Located in Franklin TN

  11. SOLD Hi all! Up for sale is a barely used Glock 48 MOS. Comes with a holosun adapter plate and extra blacked out front sight (regular white dot sight installed). Comes with 2 magazines, magazine loader, case, and case candy. Asking $500. Meet up around Thompsons Station/Spring Hill. Mainly wanting to sell but I’d trade for a Glock 42, or maybe an LCP Max plus cash to me.

  14. If you are on a computer, look at the top and click on "Store". Then click on "Manage Purchases". That will tell you when your benefactor membership will expire. ON a phone, click the drop-down in the upper right. go down to store, then manage purchases.

  15. As a LEO Firearms Instructor and someone who carries EDC every day, I prefer hammer fire guns since I carry appendix. It's an added safety mechanism for when I holster my firearm, my thumb covers the hammer and if anything binds or impinges on the gun during the process, the hammer would alert me. If I am not carrying appendix/IWB, I carry what fits my hand and is most comfortable to shoot, in this case still a hammer fire CZ.

  17. I've got 2 a T3x Lite in .30-06 & a T3 Superlight Hunter in 6.5x55. I honestly believe they're the best rifle you can possibly buy, under a grand. The action is like oiled glass, the trigger is spectacular & you will not find a more accurate, out of the box rifle anywhere. With the advent of prefit barrels, they're a brilliant base action for a custom build, although aftermarket stock makers are lagging behind. I think a lot of folks are maybe a bit offput by them being a 'budget' gun, being that they're Sako's cheaper option, but they're every bit as good a a model 85.

  20. I came close. Went to Sparton last month to order a Liberty but did not order it when I was told it would be a 4 to 6 month wait. After hearing this I just went to Tractor Supply and picked up a Liberty there.

  21. I owned the LCP and I now own a LCP Max (.380 acp). It's true that the Max grip is wider, but the increase is negligible, but the additional 5 rounds (in 12 round mag) is not. The trigger is much better too. It's zero issues. I couldn't say that about the LCP. The LCP Max became my favorite carry pistol, until I bought the LCP Max 9. I still carry it on occasion, when I need to go lighter. Of course the OP was asking about the LCP Max 9. which is a larger version of the LCP MAX in 9mm.

  23. Some of you probably know, but maybe some of you do not. Spartan Safe appears to be closed for good. I apologize if this is a dupe ( my search didn't return any results). I haven't been able to find a lot of info on the situation but figured If anyone else was impacted we could group it all together. I am not really optimistic there will be any refunds and I am beyond livid. I'm pretty upset at myself as well. I ordered a safe back in march 2022 at the Murfreesboro location. was told 2-3 month lead time. Not unusual so I paid for the safe and moved on with life. I went by the store in person to check on the status probably every other month up until November. It wasn't until early October I was told the safe was finally manufactured (he looked up the info on his computer and told me this) and should be on the shipping truck soon. Great news right? At this point is has been many months and was tired of this, and honestly wanted to get a refund. So late October I went in and checked on it. I was told the safe was set to be delivered to Murfreesboro within the week. Alright, I can wait one more week I told myself. 1 week goes by and no calls. I couldn't get back over to their store that week so it was on November 17 I finally went back to be done and get a refund no matter what I was told. This was the day I found the store was closed and the had a sign taped to the window saying go to their website. --- Turns out Liberty safes cancelled their partnership and that must have been the final straw for spartan. Ive submitted their refund request, but 7 days later received another email saying someone would reach out within 10-15 business days. We are at 10 business days from that email (not counting thanksgiving & friday) and still no response. On November 17 I called liberty because they offered to speak to those impacted by this situation. They were able to find my order and it turns out my safe was manufactured in May 2022! Spartan never paid them to release the safe for shipment. So my safe was sold long ago. Yet Spartan lied to my face saying it hadn't been built yet for months. And then lied again when they said it was getting ready to ship. My safe was long gone when they told me those lies. --- So here we are. Unfortunately I paid 1K in cash and the rest on my credit card. Which is where i royally screwed up. I should have just put it all on the card... Learn from my mistakes guys. My credit card company said to wait until the 10-15 days has passed before they begin the charge back process. So I will get a portion of this back, but not my cash. Hate it when you learn a hard lesson. I'm sure others are even more worse off because my safe wasn't even one of the expensive ones. -- TLDR: spartan safe took orders and money in store and never paid Liberty Safe for them. Liberty never releases safes and terminates their partnership. Spartan closes in the middle of the night. Customers are SOL. Any of yall tied up in this crapstorm?
