Woke up with some discomfort and tightness in my chest Sunday morning. Went to E R at St Thomas West, in Nashville, Sunday afternoon. Monday afternoon I had to have 4 additional stents put in my veins around my heart. Now have had double bypass, with 9 stents. Feel lucky to be her on this Thanksgiving Day. Am having a great day although kinda sore. I am now 74, and want to tell you that one better have made spiritual provisions for your death, and most of all where your soul will spend eternity. My soul will be with my savior Christ Jesus in the next realm(realm of departed spirits(Paradise) if Christ don't come first. Search and find out where your souls will go before it is too late. When you get to the next realm it will be too late to change your fate. I have done the things necessary for me to be able to take advantage of God's saving Grace which He freely will give to all who follow His Son Jesus. This is serious guys. I had open heart surgery that required five bypasses, as I was preparing for that, my heart surgeon wanted to run a couple of more tests cause I was so low on blood, long story short also have stage four Colon Cancer and stage Four Liver Cancer. I always said go big or go home, that was two years ago last month. They gave me a Five year window to beat the Cancer, I've been on Chemotherapy Treatments for two years now twice a month. I hear you on making peace with God and I've done that, so hopefully when my time comes I'll be able to stand before him and hopefully he will let me in. A little quote I have is: "WHEN MY TIME COMES, I'LL SING MY DEATH SONG AND GO HOME LIKE A WARRIOR TO BE WITH MY BROTHERS AND FAMILY." I finally picked up a Wilson Combat grip module for my P365XL. I like it a lot. The grip is little bit bigger around (more rounded on the sides) than the stock grip module. It fits my hand better. The stippling is a bit more coarse and rough. I really only notice it on my bare stomach when carrying appendix with my shirt untucked. I can’t wait to shoot it. I was shooting a lot this weekend but before it arrived. Still hitting steel at 70 yards with the Holosun 507k. (Although not quite as regularly as I was with the CZ p10s and a Romeo1)

My suggestion would be to avoid a "block set". Get yourself a really good quality chef knife, paring knife, and bread knife. After that get yourself a quality set of sharpening stones or a system to keep them sharp. This will cover 95% of what you need and avoid spending money on knives you aren't going to use. I picked up a tactile chef's knife maybe 2 years ago and it has been a champion, also really like the Spyderco kitchen knives. No input on the steak knives.

Michigan has a chance, I think, but UGA is surely the big favorite.

I don't post much here for one simple reason, I read threads like this and I want to lash out. I have not really become acquainted with the sub-culture of TGOs yet. And frankly, most of you may not know how to take me. I moved here from FL 15 years ago, spent my first 42 years in the Clearwater area. After seeing what the non-Crackers had done to my state, I did not want to become just another intruder to TN. I came here with a humble attitude, I went along and got along. I had a CCW permit in FL and I immediately got a TN permit......IOWs I've always had a permit. For the life of me I cannot understand the bitching and moaning about going through the process. Spend a few years here before you start bitching, you might realize it's not as bad as you thought. I live in E TN, just outside of Newport, halfway between Knoxville and Asheville. I have yet to go anywhere, besides the obvious courthouses...etc.. where I could not carry, concealed or open......it's a non issue. Also, I'm routinely in VA, NC, GA, KY, SC, FL, none of those states could I carry without a permit. Just as in FL, years of hearing how wonderful your rustbelt states and northeastern states were...bla, bla, bla. Well, I'm a legit TN resident now and I don't want to hear it now either. Get accustomed to our customs or go back, that simple.

Said there is no way anytime soon we will have a powergrid to charge if half of the country had electric vehicles. Takes the US 10 years billions of dollars to build a new nuclear plant. China it takes them 5 years and they do it for half the price. And they are literally making identical ones the US makes. (WE GAVE THEM THEM THE DESIGNS/INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BUILD THE PERFECT REACTORS) I jokingly asked him "yea but would you live right next to one of their reactors" China has a passion for ripping off well made things and making them cheap, but I'm not sure they're known for their ingenuity.
