  2. I did gunbroker searches for recent completed auctions with bids (actually sold, not stupid asking prices). I just averaged prices in my head to get a range. A couple I had to just guess at because of no examples to compare. These are retail prices on a popular nationwide website with collectors looking, so you may or may not be able to get as much locally. There may be details and markings I missed in the pics that could add or detract from values. Also, remove the Finn and Russian Mosin Nagants from stocks and check the date stamped under the receiver tang. An1898 or earlier date stamp, regardless of date stamped on top of barrel, means it is considered an antique and not a modern firearm. It can legally be shipped to individuals without going through an FFL unless state law prohibits it (TN does not). This usually adds 20% or more to value. Polish p64 $300 - 400 Bulgarian Makarov $500 - 700 Czech CZ52 $350 - 500 Finn Sako m39 $600 - 900 Mosin Nagant 91/30 in m39 stock ?? Best guess, $300 or so as it is. I think you would be best off to sell the m39 stock and 91/30 action separateIy. I believe the m39 stock complete with handguard and hardware would bring around $300 and the action should bring $150 - 200, possibly more if you part it out on ebay. Polish m44 $500 - 700 French MAS 36 $700 - 900 Enfield No5 Mk1 missing parts ?? Best guess $100. Take whatever is offered. Swiss K31 with scope $600 - 800 if clamp on mount and no finish or metal damage and no holes drilled. Argentine 1891 carbine $500 - 700 Mosin Nagant 91/59 $400 - 500 Enfield No4 Mk1 $500 - 700 Swiss K31 $600 - 800 Spanish FR8 $600 - 800 FN Belgian 1889 Sporter ?? Best guess $300 - 400 Eddystone 1917 $600 - 1000

  3. I've recently renegotiate my work schedule. I work the same amount of hours, but now I'm off the same amount of days that I work. It's given me time to look at things I didn't have time for. I'm finding the problems slowly. We adopted 3 kid several years ago. They are all three meet the definition of "special needs", but one is severely handicapped, one is 40% , and one is 30%. They were/are taking up most of our time. I've pretty much adopted a 4th. He is normal and an outstanding individual. He's the only person I've ever recommended at work in 25 years. They immediately hired him. The upstairs ac unit is controlled by the kids. Kids who close all of the doors. The thermostat is in the hallway. The hallway that doesn't have vents. That's being addressed. The insulation is not what I want it to be. That's being fixed this weekend. Talked to the oldest kid. He wants to help with the installation and cost of insulation. He also wants to help with bills, but the Wife is hesitant. Every dollar he saves goes towards a home, but he's doing well working with me. We are going to have the power company check and see if the problem is on their end or the meter. I'm on vacation this week, so I'm having plenty of panic attacks. LOL

  4. Oh there’s a certain point in this hobby where you cross the threshold from spending your time shooting to you spending most of your time shopping for parts and ammo.

  6. Amazing gun in excellent condition. Extremely smooth shooting 45 ACP. Low recoil due to the delayed blowback system. Fantastic trigger. Also AR trigger compatible so you have the option to put whatever trigger you like in as well. This gun comes with 4 x 25 round magazines. 2 mags are USA made and 2 mags are German made. All 4 feed perfectly in this gun. Accurate and reliable. See target pic for grouping. This was shot at 21 yards with a red dot that was not zeroed for this gun at all. Comes with MagPul MBUIS Pro (all metal) sights. Great suppressor host. Great SBR candidate. $2,600 now $2500 firm on this one. No lowball offers. Not looking for any trades. FTF Transaction in or near Murfreesboro with a photo ID and bill of sale.

  7. Remington 870, asking $500.00 Used but excellent condition 20” 12 GA Remington 870 SPS 7+1 for sale, best guess is that it has 150 - 200 shot shells through it in its lifetime. Modified with a Surefire 618LMG-B LED Forend Weaponlight (MSRP $600.00), TacStar 6 shell side saddle, and a Knoxx Spec Ops stock. Still have original parts and owners manual. As you can in the photos the momentary pressure pad on the forend has some wear (more than anything just from sitting around it seems) but still works perfectly fine.

  13. Yeah, given the insane cost of ammo for the past few years, I haven't really shot that much. But now that I have more time and money, plus a few ranges on the way to and from work, I need to stock up on more ammo. I do plan on getting some parts for the cz's I have once I sell my car.

  15. I feel like I wrote that myself! 100% same here. I'd love to see Trijicon or some other US manufacturer beat Holosun, but I don't even see them trying. I own more Holosun products than I'd like to admit, and I'm a huge Aimpoint/Trijicon snob.

  16. Ah, the old "Don't support the Chinese government" argument. I get it. I do. But the very fact that you are on an Internet forum tells me that you are using an electronic device that, statistically, has far more components inside of it made by the ROC than it has components made anywhere else. With that in mind, you sort of lost before you started. That aside, let's talk optics since it's one of my favorite things to talk about. You mentioned Trijicon and that's a great place to start. I am a fan of the RMR series and have owned and used some variant of them for the past eight or so years. They work great, are rugged as hell, and not made in China. Unfortunately, Trijicon also hasn't done much to innovate since the RMR was introduced. We got the SRO which is popular among shooting sports enthusiasts but not rugged enough for hard use. We got the RMRcc which is a smaller version of the RMR, but it's also rather uninspiring in a lot of other ways. Things that Holosun seem to be doing better than Trijicon these days: Fully enclosed emitter design. Shake-awake technology for better battery life. Battery is accessible without removing the optic from the gun. Also, they seem to be listening to and responding to the consumer. Do I wish that an American optic company with American manufacturing presence was producing handgun optics for the American consumer? YEP! But I can wish in one hand and put a Holosun optic in the other, and I can tell you which one fills up faster.

  17. I wasn’t questioning the quality. I own a few PA 2x GLx prism. they’re great and unique segment in optics market. I don’t like everything I supported with purchase, I bought new. Typing on iPhone made in PROC I own zero red dots on traditional pistols. I know it’s a maze of mounting footprints. Just a bummer that most patriots go to is holosun. Other manufacturers make stuff that doesn’t directly support the red army. like trijicon offers the opportunity to support CA and fed taxes. When you get to the 507k price there’s options to consider, I think. Maybe trijicon?

  18. Agree. Has to be the most "dis-respected" caliber in existence and I don't get it. I absolutely love my Sig P229 in .40. Very nice round but gets no love.

  21. You should see what I have up my sleeve for next year. I have 3 weeks of vacation rolling over to go with my 3 weeks for next year. I will be checking off 1 of my 4 bucket list rides if all goes according to plan. It will be the easiest of the 4 most likely but it is a start. 1) Trans Labrador Highway, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia 2) Tuktoyaktuk, Dawson City, and Prudhoe Bay 3) Ride the entire lower forty eight plus Alaska 4) Ride the entire perimeter of Australia. ok five dreams if I am being honest but this one is becoming a bit of a long shot. 5) Prudhoe Bay across the Darien Gap to Ushuaia Tierra del Fuego

  22. Took advantage of an extra day off for Veterans day and did an IBA Veterans Day Gold ride last Friday. Goal of the ride is to visit at least 4 veterans related sites such as VA Hospitals, VFW posts, National or Veterans Cemeteries, or other Veterans memorials. Each site must be at least 150 miles apart and you must travel a total of at least 1,111 miles which is a nod to World War 1 and the origins of Veterans Day, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. You must do this all in 19hours and 18minutes or less, again a nod to the end of WW1 in 1918. I set out at a bit after 5 am Friday morning in the rain and stopped by my first location in Smyrna, VFW post 8422. I made my way around 840 headed West toward Memphis. The rain was heavy at times but began to clear once I passed Dickson and the Duck river. The cloud cover delayed the sunrise though so I was nearly to Jackson before I saw much sun. I reached Memphis and the Memphis National Cemetery where I got off the bike for a few minutes to walk around a bit. It was a really pretty morning so I made a slow lap around the grounds enjoying the sunglight coming through what remained of the leaves on the tree canopy before snapping a photo at the gate. From there I set off further West toward Little Rock and the Little Rock National Cemetery. Really pretty grounds here as well and another slow lap around through falling leaves was done. I got back on the road and made my way into Oklahoma where I filled up at the 570 mile mark of the ride just over 9 hours into it. I began my trip back toward home and Tennessee from there. My next stop was the Fort Smith National Cemetery back in Arkansas. Seemed like a nice little town and I think it would be worth a trip back to explore it and the hills north further. Made my way back through Memphis and to the outskirts of Jackson. I was well under my time limit at that point so I decided to get off the interstate for a bit and stop at another location. I quick GPS reroute and detour to Hwy 70 had me rolling right on by the Jackson VFW Post 6496. From there it was familiar roads and a short sprint home. I made it back to my chosen finish location at 11:55 pm covering 1126 miles in 18 Hours and 29 minutes. I did run into a few traffic related problems, namely two significant vehicle fires. The first was in Arkansas where a tractor trailer was full engulfed in the east bound shoulder which had closed I-40 east bound and significantly slowed the West bound lanes. The second was another significant vehicle fire. This time in Tennessee and a bus on the East bound side between the Tennessee river and Dickson. I saw the brake lights from a good ways out and began slowing. We came to a stop and sat for about 15 minutes. I guess they opened up a couple lanes at that point because we began inching forward and I covered about 3/4 of a mile before I saw the bus and the firefighters rolling up hoses. There was not much left of the bus so I could not identify it but a couple hundred yards up there were 2 to 3 dozen poor souls wrapped in blankets with some bags and luggage so I assume it was a greyhound or similar. Hope they did not have to stay out there long because temps were in the upper 30's at best. I was thankful for my heated jacket and grips. It was an enjoyable and memorable ride to honor our Veterans sacrifices. If you are a Veteran thank you for your service. The cemetery grounds are always sobering. To quote a line from a TV show I heard recently, "The best of us don't make it home".

  26. I have a Holosun 507K on one P365X and a Holsun 407K on the P365XL- Both these models are shake awake with the differences between the 2 - 407K has a 6 MOA dot and the 507K has a 2 MOA dot or you can change from 3 different visuals- Dot inside a circle-dot without a circle -or only circle- I prefer just the dots myself-

  27. Everything is LED inside. I've worked with my special needs Daughter to eliminate one large electricity expense. I just cut off the cable and home phone. We haven't used the home phone in more than a year. We very rarely watched cable. That was $200 a month. This is my highest earning year ever and I feel like I have less money than I did last year. Inflation is a thing

  28. Selling a Walther PDP Full Size 4.5". Dawson Precision Fiber Optic Front and blacked out rear. Includes 6 18rd magazines and a Comptac OWB holster (for competition). I have about 750 to 1000 rounds through this pistol. I purchased earlier this year. Excellent firearm. Reviews are spot on regarding the trigger and accuracy is incredible. Speed of follow up shots is also incredibly fast. I purchased this pistol for range use and as a competition irons gun. Overall I really like the features, design and quality but it does not quite fit my hand like my CZ. I like to have all my pistols share the same platform and grip for familiarity when switching from compact to full size etc... thus my reason for selling it. I still have the free coupon code from Walther for the optic plate which I have not used so you can still choose the plate you need for your optic. Selling for $800. Thanks for looking.

  29. This is the original Daniel Defense DDM4. Made and roll-marked in Savannah, GA where DD started. Pretty much a safe queen despite its age. I had to show up at at least 1 class with my sexy new DD, right? Less than 2K rounds for sure I don't have the fixed rear or that broomhandle VFG. It DOES have a Troy folding rear sight, BCM Gunfighter (medium) CH, a BCM VFG, and an AimPoint PRO. Everything else is original. If you've seen the LAV torture test video - this is the identical rifle. Chattanooga(ish) deal. $1200 rifle only $1450 w/Aimpoint Can discuss complete set-up as pictured also.
