Just sharing recent experience. Been using Hornady LNL for about 10 yrs. Loading 9 mm 147 gr DG TC coated bullets. Had the press mounted on a custom I beam mounted on a bench and very nice ammo, super reliable in all guns. BUT, works so well didn’t want to change calibers (45) and monkey up the thing and spend time resetting. So I bought the In - Line Fabricator Universal mount that has the quick chande adapter. Then bought another LNL set it up for 45 ACP. Set it up for the 200 gr DG bullet TC. Brings up point #2. I was using a Redding Pro series seating die. Was shaving some of the powder coating on about a quarter of the bullets on the 45. Switched to the Hornady seater and stem and it’s perfect so far. Oh yeah, point 3 and main reason for post (old age) my Hornady powder measure is very consistent. Been using True Blue powder for the 45 - meters great and burns clean even with a relatively light 45 load.1 point

Recent rulings by The Supreme Court of the United States and important to Tennesseans, our own Appellate system are proving that statues passed by the General Assembly, while holding the force of law, can and oft times do deny the enjoyment of rights enumerated in our Constitutions. New York State Rifle and Pistol Club v. Bruen points out a very important fact, that the Constitution and Bill of Rights MUST be viewed in light of the meaning of the words used at the time of the writing. As in Heller, the Court has stated that later statues do not create a “new” understanding of Rights. In Carpenter v. United States, the Court said electronic communications are privileged under the 4th Amendment, just as written documents were at the Founding, a warrant necessary for the government to access them. We see memes all time of plume pens and computers being the same. Free speech on TV and internet are all covered under the 1st. Why then would our 2nd Amendment rights be any different? In Bruen the Court said they were not, and even our own State Appellate decision last week confirms this fact. (Columbia Housing & Redevelopment Corp. v. Kinsley Braden) Why then is there a law, 39-17-1307 (a) (1) which says it is a crime to carry a loaded firearm off of one’s personal property, first passed by the General Assembly of Tennessee in 1801, a scant 5 years after the admission of our State into the Union and the issuance of our Constitution. In that document, (commented on by Thomas Jefferson as the “least imperfect and most republican” of the State Constitutions) then Article 11th §26 said “That the free men of this State have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defence.” Also the oath of the Legislators in Article 9th § 2nd “That each member of the senate and house of representatives shall, before they proceed to business, take an oath or affirmation to support the constitution of this State, and also the following oath: I, A.B., do solemnly swear or affirm that, as a member of this general assembly, I will in all appointments vote without favor, affection, partiality, or prejudice, and that I will not propose or assent to any bill, vote, or resolution which shall appear to me injurious to the people, or consent to any act or thing whatever that shall have a tendency to lessen or abridge their rights and privileges, as declared by the constitution of this State.” Further, in Article 10th Section 4th “The declaration of rights hereto annexed is declared to be a part of the constitution of this State, and shall never be violated on any pretence whatever. And to guard against transgressions of the high powers which we have delegated, we declare that everything in the bill of rights contained, and every other right not hereby delegated, is excepted out of the general powers of government, and shall forever remain inviolate.” Hopefully, these recent happening in courts will alert the legislators that the failure of previous General Assemblies to their oath and obligations require repeal of statutes which violate the Right of the People to keep, bear and wear arms. That will only happen if the People instruct them so!1 point

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The Tennessee Court of Appeals recently issued a decision finding it unconstitutional for a subsidized public housing entity, as landlord, to prohibit tenants from possessing firearms: https://www.tncourts.gov/sites/default/files/m2021-00329_-_unsigned_opinion.pdf The Court's decision was based partly on the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Bruen.1 point

The position he wants says "class A, B or the ability to obtain one within 6 months". However they are getting enough applications, that the are kicking out non-CDL guys just to thin the herd. I have a CDL and figured I'd have to ride with him to the dmv, but finding a truck is a B. After February it'll cost him around 10k to get one.1 point

Handled one today. The grip texture is very aggressive but not horrible. The grip angle is great. I like the feel of it. Feels built like a tank. Weight does not seem to be noticeable over polymer. Wish they had installed night sights from factory. They did include plates to match almost every red dot out though. Love the looks of it. The color with the cerakote is spot on for this pistol. Time will tell but this is a sharp looking gun.1 point
