  1. I recently retired and am selling off my C&R collection. This is a 1903A3 that I believe to be a Greek return. It's in great shape a great shooter. I replaced the stock with a new CMP stock as I didn't like the look of the original. I will include the original stock with the rifle. I is stamped and has the matching serial number. Also will include a sling and hard case. $750.00 As shipping with FedEx and UPS has gotten very difficult, a face to face meeting in the Greeneville /Johnson City area is needed. I am a FFL-03 license holder so I’ll have to have your Tennessee ID, log any sale in my book and sign a bill of sale. Thanks for looking!

  2. Selling this 572 Fieldmaster pump 22 in as new, likely unfired condition. No serial number (pre-1968) and barrel code dates it to 1963. This is an amazing find. Asking $600 face to face in Franklin.

  7. Cut an empty 2 liter bottle just above the label. Put in sugar and bread crumbs for bait. Turn the top 180 degrees and insert into the bottle. Place where crickets are. I have an old building where crickets inhabit. After one day, this has seemed to decrease their population considerably. I may take them fishing in their near future.

  8. Me and my buddy been on the hogs for a couple weeks and killed 10 but got a good one the other night. My buddy was on the green light and soon as it lit him up he took off a running. Busted him quartering away on the run at 100 yards, the 450 still took out his lungs an the bullet was caught under the skin behind the opposite shoulder. Probably made it 80 yards before piling up. This is on private land with an exemption to bait and use artificial lights of a night.

  11. Thanks, "A Gun for Each Hand." That's a very nice one, , but I'm going to reluctantly pass on that as I picked this one up last week. It was a really good price, though it needs just a wee bit work before I go knocking squirrels out of trees. When you're retired, ya have to keep busy you know. Appreciate the PMs.

  14. I’m not trying to defend Halbert, but she claims to have been ill and had surgery for her reason being absent. If you look at previous pictures of her versus how she looked in her last interview. She looks like someone who is or has been seriously ill. That being said, a good leader should have their employees trained up to achieve their goals even in the leader's absence.

  17. One step at a time is correct since that kind of philosophical shift takes time. Their having guns and realizing they aren't the scariest thing on earth if handled correctly is a big first step into winning people over. Nothing negates ignorance like experience.

  25. Yes and ... no. Yes, in that the quality and resell are typically there. No, in the fact that most of the quality far exceeds the limits a normal recreational shooter will need or even approach using. It's kinda like saying is a Shelby Cobra Mustang worth it over a regular Mustang.

  26. Found one! Bought a 2011 Ford Escape off of Craig's List. My research shows the 2011 was one of the best years for these cars. Excellent condition, interior is perfect. everything works, Got it at a good price. I was able to pay cash, so no payments like I would've ended up with at a dealer. Needs a couple of small things fixed, but its no big deal. What used car doesn't? I even like the color. Unfortunately, the County Clerk's office is closed again this week. So I can't get tittle and tags until next week.

  29. My edc outfit recently changed to include with the firearm, light and iPhone: 1-Pepper or Bear Spray (depending on destination) 2-Slim folding pocket knife with 4 1/2" blade....think razor sharp -Reason for adding spray is a recent bear encounter while walking in my neighborhood -Reason for adding razor sharp knife is that that I often forget to shaving in the morning due to being retired
