  2. Yes, my understanding is the first versions of the gen 5 had no front serrations and a cutout in the mag well for mag extraction.

  3. This is nothing more than another which gun is best question. The ones each respondent has had is the best or worst for whatever reason. Go drive all of them with no preconceived notion and decide for yourself what fits you best. Drive them all before buying anything even if you fall in love with one.

  5. Got this in a trade and do not plan to use it. Great scope in good condition. One cosmetic blemish that I noticed. Good clear glass. Scope rings have bubble level built in. Not sure of the brand on the rings. I did include a close-up pic of the logo on the rings just in case anyone here knows that logo and brand. These retail for $299 without the rings. I am asking $200 OBRO for scope and rings. Trade options are 9mm, 45 acp, or 7.62x51 ammo. FTF Transaction preferred in or near Murfreesboro.

  6. Got this in a trade and do not need it. Great bipod, very well made and in excellent condition. Legs are extendable from about 7" to about 10". Lockable pivot right to left. Solid all metal construction except for the feet which seems to be high strength polymer of some kind. These sell new for approximately $200. Asking $125 Trade options are 9mm, 45 acp, or 7.62x51 ammo. FTF Transaction preferred in or near Murfreesboro.

  9. Well, it was a nice comeback win. If we can just take UT, the season is a win.

  11. I'm mildly retarded when it comes to suvs. I'm looking at another BMW X3. 3.0 with a six speed manual. I had a 2006 BMW x3 with a 2.5 and a six speed manual and it was a blast.

  13. "Boring" and "reliable" beats the socks off "soul" and "tech" every time. I would look at used Hondas or Toyotas.

  14. These are really great guns. BIG, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better polymer .45ACP - period. I had one for a few years and it was a tack driver. Good luck with your sale!

  15. I hated to hear of her passing. For hatever opinion people may have of her, I feel she was a friend and ally of the US. The most touching gestureI recall of her was when she asked the Coldstream Guard to play our national anthem at Buckingham Palace in the days after 9/11.

  16. If you look at the Mazda CX-5, I suggest you look at 2017 and newer. The seats in the 2013-2016 are hard as rocks on an iron plate. I have a 2015 and any trip longer than an hour starts to hurt. 2017 saw a big refresh. It's the same underneath, but new body panels and new interior designs. The driving dynamics on most Mazda models hands down beat the like-for-like competition. I had a new Honda CR-V a few weeks ago as a rental. It rides smoother and the seats are way more comfortable than my CX-5, but it was as boring to drive as just about any Honda out there. Honda has just about perfected the comfortable functional reliable transportation but man do they have no soul.

  17. I have 2 of these wonderful guns for sale. These are very compact guns with fantastic triggers and high capacity magazines. Each comes with 3 mags (2 x 13 rounds, 1 x 10 round). I will throw in one of these holsters with each gun. I filled the engraving on the slides with fingernail polish which is easily removed if the prospective buyer does not like it. $450 each or $850 if you buy both. FTF Transaction in or near Murfreesboro. Flash of state issued photo ID required.

  18. Wow! Rob certainly knows how to maintain a classic bike! Those look great. That Honda is a bit of an odd bird. You never see them.

  19. @Rob112o, that is quite the transformation on the BMW! I do like the more simplified look, but the seat on the original pic looked pretty comfy. Looks vs practicality is always a balancing act. That '82 Honda FT500 strikes a cord with me. Those old, light, simple air-cooled bikes were just the ticket for casual days exploring the backroads. Looks good, too.

  22. So thanks to another awesome member that saw my post, I now have a gently loved goruck GR0 with a few add-ons on the way. While I was excited about the Vertx, I think I’m going to be much happier with this one. Overall build quality just seems to be next level compared to the Vertx I handled in person. I’ll likely never wear either of them out but that no BS GoRuck warranty is pretty awesome.
