  7. It's an odd balance that the more "safe" and better handling cars become, the more unsafe people tend to drive them. It's like my wife and the back up camera. Can't tell you how many things she's nearly hit because she will not turn her head and look with her own eyes. Helps are helps not a substitute for what good gave you.

  8. I have a Savage Arms Stevens 320 Security 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun in black. It is brand new in the box. Only taken out at purchase for the store to verify the serial. It is a 18.5 inch barrel and a 5+1 cylinder capacity. Would make a great home defense gun. Has pistol grip stock, a rear rail, and heatshield Wanting to trade this mainly. Open to lots of guns. Located in the Tricities. Please send all info via PM to keep the ad clean. UPDATED**** Picture pulled from Savage's site, but it looks just like that. I can send other pics if requested. 14. You and I both, but they made space sacrifices in both models, with the Cmax you get comfortable seating for 4-5 with little trunk space. The escape they pushed the backseat forward 4 inches it feels like to give more trunk space. I say this because I, a 6'4" male, can't sit in the backseat behind my wife, 5'10", comfortably. My knees are pressed into the back of the seat forward of me. If I'm driving, and I sit closer than most my height to the wheel, a rear facing car seat is flush to the back of my seat.

  15. That’s the refresh model? I’ll say this about the first half with audio controls. You’ll run into that with almost all new featured models. Everything is canbus this days so shared systems with modules. my Escape is an S (base model) so it has the most basic of everything. The way cars are supposed to be. New cars suck!!!

  16. We bought our RAV4 new in 2012. It now has 140,000 miles and the only repair I've done was a $30 upper radiator hose. Other than that I've only done routine maintenance. It gets 28-29 MPG highway. The newer RAV4s get even better MPG.

  17. I have 2 of these wonderful guns for sale. These are very compact guns with fantastic triggers and high capacity magazines. Each comes with 3 mags (2 x 13 rounds, 1 x 10 round). I will throw in one of these holsters with each gun. I filled the engraving on the slides with fingernail polish which is easily removed if the prospective buyer does not like it. $450 each or $850 if you buy both. FTF Transaction in or near Murfreesboro. Flash of state issued photo ID required.

  21. Maybe a little pedantic, but it's all entrances generally used by the public. A restaurant can post the front door but not post the kitchen entrance used by employees and still be properly posted by statute. I bring it up in case someone thinks they thought up a loop hole that doesn't exist. It also doesn't have to be the door. The signage is to restrict access to the area beyond the posting. A restaurant could place a sign at the entrances to their bar area but not the front door. That would make only the bar area off limits. I've seen the sign on some Waffle House bulletin boards which sit by the restrooms. I guess you can't have a handgun in there, but the rest of the place is OK . . .

  24. Well dang, that gun is a shooter! You have to be pleased with those results after all the work you did. If you can't find a cape buffalo nearby, a trip to Texas to shoot some hogs could be a good initiation.

  27. I found this in a past post. (Memphis TV channel 13 reported some info on the Kawasaki shop incident. I know the man who carried in to the store. Went to Bartlett PD until bail paid. At court received probation and fine. Could not carry until probation ended. Had to reapply for permit. Didn't get weapon returned until after court hearing after probation ended and PD did a TICS check. Lawyer fees $5k, probation a little over 2 years. )

  29. Location is Murfreesboro. On a form 4. Receiver will stay in safe until stamp comes back, which is unfortunately just how NFA transfers work. No trades, please. NFA is pretty simple for individuals. $200 cashiers check, Form 4 in duplicate (I provide), fingerprint cards (I have them for you to take to a mailbox place to have done), 2 passport photos (CVS). Mail and wait. Gun has never had a malfunction and shoots incredibly flat and soft. 50 round mags feel endless. I have about 800 rounds through the gun but only 50 through this factory barrel, as I was using a CMMG barrel most of the time I have had it. $4,700 for everything, optic included- open to modifying ammo package partial trades considered. I’m probably getting a Wilson Combat EDCX9 (really regret selling the ones I had) or a new WC SFT9. Ed Brown, Nighthawk, custom shop from the usual suspects, as long as it’s 9MM. FN PS90, on form 4 Factory (cut/threaded by TROS- known for quality, not turnaround times) 10.4” barrel CMMG flash hider Man Kave trigger Man Kave extended charging handle QD front and rear sling mount Design Machine Aimpoint mount 8 50 round magazines (w/delrin rollers) (update- mags are brand new) Box, papers, stuff, original parts. $1750, optic not included I will not sell ammo unless gun sells. 2,285 AE 5728A- (priced at ~.60/rd) 550 FN SS198LF green tip- (priced at ~.80/rd) 1,433 FN SS195LF hollow point (priced at ~.80/rd) Updated: the used mags pictures above were swapped by FN for brand new ones. All of the used ones had a little blemish in the same spot that didn’t affect function, but I noticed when I took pics and it bugged me. I bought all of the previous ones at the same time, must have been the same lot

  34. TN code 39-17-1359 that enforces properly posted signs drives me nuts. I will never understand this. Anyone who is going to do something bad will not be stopped by a sign with specific sized letters. The way I see it is a business owner should be allowed to post a sign and if they see me carrying they can ask me to leave or I will be trespassed - I would happily leave with no issues. It creates "soft spots" if nothing else. Law abiding citizens are the only ones who will even think about honoring a sign and those are the people who are not the threat. I have emailed lawmakers in the state and hope one day they will realize how dumb it is. Even if they made the sign only apply to permitless carriers at least it would be a small step forward, even though I believe it should not apply to anyone.

  36. I have done both and certainly more cost effective you build your own, but I prefer to use a toolbox so I have storage under it. You can never have enough storage. I have a 50" Milwaukee toolbox that I used. I personally added a double layer of 3/4" plywood that is glued and screwed under wood top on the toolbox for extra support. For me, the support of the top is critical. I then screwed the whole thing to the wall for extra stability. You can build a simply one out of 2x4's, just make sure to put a post directly under the where you will have the press(es) for the load to be pushed to the floor. I guess it also depends on the "accuracy" you are looking for. I want as little movement/flex as possible as I load for precision/accuracy most of the time. Like most things, budget and frankly expectations are the key factors.
