SOLD: Agency Arms Syndicate S2 AOS Slide for Glock Gen 5 G19 G45 Sale price is $400 shipped to you in the lower 48 US States. Due to switching some things around, I have an extra Syndicate S2 slide with the insanely versatile and durable AOS (Agency Optics System) and am offering it for sale. This is gently used with about 200 rounds through it and in excellent condition. More pics, further down! If you are looking to put an optic on your Gen 5 Glock G19 or G45, this is the way to do it. The AOS system uses mounting plates that are superior to anything else on the market, in my opinion, and which allow you to use most any pistol optic available. The rear iron sight installs on the mounting plate, and plates are available with the site in front of or behind the optic! This slide comes with the standard irons-only plate. You can find AOS optics plates at Midway USA and many other retailers. Specifications: Part Number: SYN-19S2-G5 Caliber: 9mm Color: Black Finish: DLC Fits Manufacturer: Glock Includes: AOS Iron Plate, Channel Liner Material: 416R Stainless Steel Terms of Sale: What you see is what you get. Nothing is hidden or altered in these photos. Retail price is $550 at Omaha Outdoors. They have consistently been the cheapest place to buy these, but are currently out of stock. If you're in AK or HI, you'll need to talk with me about postage. Payment needs to be PayPal. More Pics! Last but not least, this is the twin of this slide on my Gen5 G19. I'm posting this pic just to show you what it looks like in use. This partcular sale ad is for a slide only. Nothing else shown in this photo is included in the sale.4 points

This stuff worries me because when you purportedly have members of one group of people broadcasting that they are prowling with the intent to do harm, you will almost always have members of counter groups of people who take it as gospel and mount their own efforts to "patrol" as opposition. Unless cooler heads prevail, it sets communities up for widespread violence.3 points

My niece and daughter share a house in Olive Branch. My niece works at the IRS. She made it out safely, but she’s freaking out. I’ve been carrying a pistol, but now I think it’s time to start carrying the .300BO.3 points

If we’re going to hold guns, gun owners, Christians, etc. responsible for stuff like this, shouldn’t judges who turn scum like this back on the street share some culpability as well?3 points

The knurling for cocking serrations is pretty damned awesome. Blood, sweat, tears, Chick-Fil-A Sauce... the knurling practically guarantee that you won't fumble a slide release or press-check no matter what your hands are covered in at the moment.2 points

Just to clarify, this does not pedal for you. It's a pedal assist. Imagine going up a steep climb but you pedal like you going down a gentle decline. It's a cool sensation. You see the climb and you get ready to power up ... Nope you just relax and pedal up like a super blood doped Lance Armstrong. If you want a normal bike experience, turn it off with the handlebar control. Want to go farther, but you ran out of energy? Turn it on and keep going. Easy on the fly left thumb control switches through the assist control.2 points

I suppose there are some people who legitimate idolize the British royal family, but my own feelings toward QE2 are just simple admiration and respect. As someone else pointed out, she was gutsy. She also made it her lifelong commitment to put the people of her country first. She, from all appearances, embodied the concept of Servant Leadership. I admire that. She very much seemed to be cut from the same cloth as what we've come to call "The Greatest Generation". She served her country in WWII and knew what true evil looked like and was resolute to stand against it. Again, I admire that. I hope that she truly rests in peace and is now with God, enjoying an eternal reward for a job well done.2 points

Brand new factory built PSA AR-15 pistol. 11.5 inch barrel. 5.56 cal. I ordered this new from Palmetto State Armory in August of 2021. I left in the box in a closet and never got around to shooting it. Has the Detachable A-2 Carry Handle. Upper and lower fit nice and tight. Gun is just like it left the factory. Located in Lenoir City. $600 I will require id and a simple bill of sale unless you are an established TGO member.1 point

Its a game as old as time. Doesn't matter if its politics, race, religion or whatever. Keep the people fighting among themselves and they're too busy to pay attention to what the people in power are doing. Plus, there's always money to be made out of it.1 point

Yes they are. No recoil, huge fireball, and fun to shoot. I am looking for the standard version, not the "r". Thanks though!1 point

Hilton Yam did a very informative Q&A about the Prodigy on IG.He hasn’t shot it yet but did a deep dive into the differences between it and the Staccato. The gist of it was the Staccato is almost $900 more for a reason, better parts and fitting.1 point

Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~1 point

Lots of good advice. I had a lot of mostly costume jewelry to get rid of when I cleaned out my Mother's stuff. Was going to donate it all to a church jewelry sale but the timing wasn't right initially so I asked a friend that did eBay sales to look at it. I use to do eBay sales but wasn't interested in getting back into it. Told her I would split profits 50:50 she did all the work. Turns out she use to work at a pawn shop in her younger days and new all the tricks to do the research. Did a great job and we cleared close to $1000 each and we still had a large box of what was left to donate to the next years church sale. We did the eBay sales after we let our then daughter inlaw, my sister inlaw and niece take what they wanted so a lot of good stuff was already claimed.1 point

I have always thought it was a good idea to reduce welfare for the people that can work, but choose not to. It would need to be done over a period of time. With the money saved, open trade schools in the area and teach anything from welding to computer science. Hopefully you could get volunteers from the area to help out. It would be much easier in the inner cities. I'm not sure how it would go in the rural areas of the US. That's were the vast majority of welfare recipients live. Travel could be an issue. A buddy worked with Minddrive. He wouldn’t take at risk kids. He wanted gang bangers. They would build electric race cars and race them. He said the transformation was amazing when they accomplished goals. He always said there were a lot of really smart kids that felt like they had no choice but crime. Giving them a choice is a good first step. I also have zero issues hammering someone for violent crime. I also think there's a better way to "correct" nonviolent crimes than putting someone in jail for 1-8 years and destroying their lives. Once they are out, they become a burden on society because we refuse to allow them to participate.1 point

Until these socioeconomic/cultural changes are effected that will take generations, start taking proactive action against the scum. It’s going to take a multi-prong, long term approach to rid the country of its ills but honestly, haven’t people been trying to do this for decades? Something isn’t working. One of those things that is definitely not working is being soft on criminals. How many free passes and breaks is a ####up or sociopath supposed to get? Do I have the answers? No, but things need to change now.1 point

Up for consideration is a numbers matching '85 E. German akm. Built on a Morrissey receiver and comes with an additional side folder stock. One of the rarer akm's out there, and not often with number's matching parts. Looking to trade for an AK pistol or outright sell. Wouldn't mind a 741 point

When you think about the recent history of the 1911 you have consistently seen manufacturers about 15-20 years behind competition guns. Most of the mods done by Bill Wilson for competition found its way to major manufacturers a decade or more later. This is yet another example of them catching up. When I first built open guns for USPSA it was blatantly obvious that the dot was by far the biggest factor in fast and accurate shooting. Back then the technology wasn't quite there to make it completely possible (although there were work arounds) but now were pretty much there. As far as this gun is concerned, I would want the slide flat topped and the sights not so high and tucked down into your grip with co-witness. Would take more weight out of the gun and further reduce muzzle rise. Love the double undercut trigger guard though!!!1 point

I have shot a lot of 357Sig in duty sized weapons and carried one on duty for a very short period. I will say this, the 357Sig round has got to be the most accurate round I have ever shot in duty size pistol platforms. I have heard others say the same who have had extensive time with the 357 Sig cartridge. Yes, I shot tighter groups with a Glock in 357Sig and tighter groups with a Sig in 357Sig over their 9mm counterparts. However, there was always a slight bit more recoil with the 357Sig, but it didn’t effect accuracy. I don’t believe I ever thought it was as snappy as some people say 40S&W feels to them, but I don’t find 40S&W hard to shoot. The 357Sig always gave you the worst features of the 9mm with the worst features of the 40s&w. You get 40S&W capacity with .355-.356 diameter bullet. You don’t even get the cheap ammo advantage both 40 and 9mm offer. If you are a hand loader, the bottle neck 357 case is a little bit more difficult to handle. Nowadays, I wouldn’t bother with handloading 9, 40, or 357 Sig. I would just practice with factory made 9 or 40 in the appropriate barrel. I have not seen a single 357sig come through the local police academy since I have been instructing over the last two years. We do have a couple of small local agencies still using the 357sig in SE TN, or we did the last time I heard. The Chattanooga Housing Authority officers still have Glock 31, but there are plans to go to 9mm in the next two years. I know Meigs County and Decatur had 357sig Glocks the last time I asked, but this is roughly 60 officers total between the three agencies. The TWRA is also planning a transition to 9mm Glocks. I believe they, unlike THP, are going to do a pistol optic at the same time.1 point
