  2. Email them. Keep the email response in your records. That way you don't get into a "The guy on the phone said " argument.

  3. Love that 686. Looks like I need to move to middle Tennessee. That's always where the guns I like are.

  5. Well my deaf old azz couldn't hear much of anything. However, it does seem to be intermittent and not at all rhythmic. Which is a good sign. Most likely something loose rather than worn out or broken. Remove the fan belt, shake and turn each pulley by hand. If something is bad, you will feel it.

  6. I know you’ll think I’m nuts but take a 3 foot wooden dowel and place one end on several spots on the engine while holding the other end to your ear. This will help to locate where on the engine the noise is coming from. I have a mechanics stethoscope for this. I can also find water with divining rods and tell you when fish will be biting.

  7. I haven’t noticed the lawful concealed carry signs at Lowes, but I have seen the gunbuster signs. I always put them in redneck layaway.

  8. As for your particular issue, I can’t be of too much help. I think your best course of action would be to call the DoS and seek assistance from the department that handles permits. I can answer one question for you though. The permits issued prior to the creation of the Concealed Carry Permit are classed as Enhanced Carry Permits.

  9. SOLD Selling my unfired Geissele Super Duty Pistol in Luna Black. It has Troy HK style flip up sights on it that will go with the gun. This gun has been a safe queen since I bought it with the intention of SBR'ing it but never filled paperwork and moved on to other projects. I'll let it go for $1,700. These are hard to come by lately on palmetto or Geissele direct and don't come with sights. I can meet in the greater Nashville area as I work downtown and live in Lebanon but would prefer to meet at my office which is well exposed and has ample places to do this off of Hermitage Ave. I can come to you but would request meeting in some sort of public place. Cash Only. Thanks for looking

  14. Hello TGO! The safe is full and its time to move some pieces that don't get alot of love. This is a nice carry package ready to go. I've carried this pistol for about 6 months and it shows a couple little cosmetic marks. 400 rds through it with zero malfunctions of any kind. I purchased the Swampfox used to see if I'd like an optic on a pistol this small and it does have a fair amount of wear on it HOWEVER that sucker is completely functional. Dot auto-dims and is always the right brightness for me and holds zero perfectly. Also including a Vedder IWB holster with claw attachment (makes the whole package disappear in the waistband), 3x13rd mags and 1x11rd mag. Did the old white nailpolish fill on the slide lettering but a little nail polish remover would take it out if you don't care for it. Will not separate pistol and optic at this time. Open to offers, prefer sale but I will consider trades for other 9mm handguns. Ftf in or around Middle TN, HCP flash required, cash only. Thanks, -V

  21. That's certainly not a glowing review of Great American. But look on the bright side. It may spark some good discussions on safety. . . . I'll get my hat . . .

  22. It always makes me happy when I see this hanging in the sign section at Lowes. They have had them for a few years now. I pick one up every so often just to make sure they are registering sales for them.

  24. A few years back when i had some questions, i found an email address and phone number for the lady that was then in charge of the unit that does these. She was very responsive as well. Pretty sure she's moved on now and I no longer have that info anyway, but maybe someone else does? Alternatively, Sept is right around the corner and since one status said it'd be issued then, you could just wait and see...

  25. Tags are electronic now. It's done on you phone and gps recorded. You can download paper temporary tags, but they are included when get a license on your phone. You just have to print them off. You are required to "tag before you drag" in TN. I very rarely get a license anymore for normal hunting. I usually hunt on my own land, but if you have the smallest possibility of hunting 1 inch off your property, get a license. It's easy to forget and hunt with a buddy one day on his place without a license.

  27. If you are hunting on your own land no need to buy a license. I couldn't tell you about riding a bicycle on Catoosa. So long as you aren't riding around during any deer, turkey, bear, or the special pig season, I seriously doubt anyone would care.

  30. They are no different than bolt guns conceptually as far as accurizing goes. Once you get a good foundation and a few tools, changing barrel/cal is a 5 minute job.

  32. No, the 12 rounds are way too short. It’s possible someone could make an adapter like the 10round magazines run to work in the xl module.

  34. The data I saw for 2021 shows that most people moving to TN are 65 or older. I don't think we're being flooded with as many liberals as people claim. Most major cities in the US are liberal so that isn't unique to Nashville. Tennessee is still a solidly conservative state. Trump won TN with 60% of the vote which was only lower than 9 other states. A lot of people moving here are doing so because they like the politics.

  37. Stopped in to meet some old buddies as this show is not good, small not much there. Was walking out when loud BOOOM and smoke over in corner. Checked and no holes in me. Asked a vendor WTH was that and he said a customer bought a flare gun and decided to load it and try it out. No one hurt but I bet the Dollar General Store near by had a rush on underwear.
