Picked this up at the gunshow today, $300 OTD tax and background included. I got home and ran 250 rounds of Armscor 36 grain HV .22 LR hollow points through it. The trigger in double action is heavy but not intolerably so. Its not a target pistol by any means, but for a trail gun/around the farm beater its not bad. The single action trigger break is surprisingly light and short. I had one misfire in 250 rounds and it light off on the second go around so it may have been the ammo. I have not yet tried it with the .22 wmr, but I am very happy with the pistol so far especially for the price. As far as accuracy I havent bench rested it, but it is coke can accurate off hand at 25 yards and considering the shooter thats pretty good in my book. If you have considered one I highly reccomend it as of now, Ill update if anything changes.

Just got these two folders in the other day. I put the lanyard's on both of them this morning. The first one is a SPARTAN HARSEY from 2021 limited edition called the WATCH WORKS. I like the design and the slogan on the back of the knife, TIME WAITS FOR NO MAN never a truer statement has been made. The other is an OLAMIC WAYFARER in Frosted Finish on the Handles and a Bronze Pocket Clip with some Bronze Skulls, and the back spacer is Bronze Scalloped. This one is #10 I believe they only made 15-20. I also ordered an OLAMIC WAYFARER Hand Carved Series and it should be finished around August 19 they only made 10 of these and they won't build anymore of them, I'll post those pictures when I get it.

My first MCH arrived today. I have another on order, but this one has the EDC head with dual output. It is their FDE finish with the Thyrm Switchback ring on it. The other on order is clear anodized and has the High Candella single-output head on it. That one will get carried on security duty because I've never done Force On Force training in the dark where I wished that I had anything less than ALL of the lumens. I'll let you guys know how I think the EDC version works, in a few hours.

Vintage 7x57 Mauser sporter - receiver reads: fab. nat. d'armes de guerre herstal-belgique Came out of an estate of a friend of mine. His father had it built by a gunsmith in Arkansas sometimes in the 50s. It hasn't been fired in more than 40 years. Bore looks great, always stored in humidity controlled storage. Numbers match on receiver, bolt and barrel. Interesting looking muzzlebreak. Has a Redfield mount, not sure of brand of steel scope with A.O., but looks like an early Weaver. No other marking found on it. I have never shot it. $750 for a classic deer rifle

I'm by no means an expert, but as I recall the stainless models used a 7XX model number. Best guess would be that your's is a Model 715. However, there were slight differences in the barrel shrouds such as full or half lugs and with or without rib vents that could make a difference. As mentioned, these guns were noted as being built to quickly and easily change barrel lengths by the owner. They were often sold as a "Pistol Pack" in a cased set with 3 or 4 different length barrels, tools and sometimes even several sets of grips. Many believed that the unique barrel mounting system resulted in greater accuracy. DWs were quite popular in the sport of Handgun Metallic Silhouette shooting. While Pistol Packs were popular, DW did also sell these revolvers with just one barrel just like any other brand. I think that may be what you have here. Regardless, these are excellent revolvers with a bit of a cult following. Take pride in owning it. edit: Ok, a little further research indicates that may well be a Model 715-V for vent ribbed barrel. Just ball parkin' here as the pistol packs are much more popular and attract the big bucks. Best guess is that gun with just the one 4" barrel would probably be worth in the $700-900 range.

You'll need to at least neck size unless you've got it setup as a fitted case. That's not something a new reloader should ever try. I have a wildcat chamber that has used the same Lapua brass for 13 loadings.

Love my 74. Recoil is much lighter than a 47. I haven't had too much trouble keeping ammo but I buy mostly off here and other local buy/sell/trade groups. Honestly, it is one of my favorite firearms and calibers. Biggest downside is finding 74s for a reasonable price. I would almost suggest a Galil Ace in 545 with prices hovering around $2k for a used ak74. Palmetto State Armory had Galil Ace BLEMs going for $1500 and I have been struggling to not make that purchase, haha. If you are ever in Nashville then you are welcome to try mine out. I take it to the range pretty often!

It depends on the chamber and how hot your load is. If the oal is good, it'll go. After you resize it, check again. Most case growth will happen in the resizing

Just an update. The new rig fit and finish is great. Seems to be flexible enough to move with me, but rugged enough to stand up to use. I'm very pleased so far!

Price lowered, wife is willing to sell for $800. Great deal for $1k+ of accessories and a barely used firearm. Was her nightstand gun.

Pretty much. The guy with the surplus AK parts was there, a few interesting items were walking around, but it was a standard-issue middle TN summertime gun show. At least the idiot woman who zaps her stun guns constantly doesn’t attend them, or they made her finally stop.

I can't believe it hasn't been typed yet, but a four inch heavy barrel Smith and Wesson Model 10. I will always have at least one in my possession. If I see one reasonably priced, I will probably buy it.

S&W 27 with 5" barrel.

This is a job I did for a friend. It took a bit of imagination to pull off but it all gelled as I modified the parts to fit. The Flux MP17 frame is for a drop in FCG from the Sig P320 in this case 9mm. The Flux has the well designed spring loaded brace that literally shoots out of the collapsed position via a strong spring and self locks into a rock solid extended position. I'm not a big Tactical gizmo guy but have to say, its pretty cool since its well designed and as solid as it gets. The rail started out as a China made mid length AR narrow Key-mod hand guard. Here is the front collar anchor made from stainless heavy wall pipe. I fabed up a left side cocking handle and put it in the most amount of meat at the front. The threads have been milled to match the bore contour of the inner slide. In the rough... It is then JB weld thread locked. This shot is just the plain Flux lower with my rear rail anchor block screwed up on top in the back there.... that scruffy looking pained thing. Handle in place Rail roughed in place Done, just 3 screws to remove for removal of a rock solid rail.

So some know I am heavily into 22 Benchrest. I also do most of my own barrel work, etc on my guns. I won a Douglas barrel blank at a match and it isn't what I normally use on my competition guns, so I decided to make a customized 10/22 since I had one laying around. Actually, this has zero Ruger 10/22 parts. The only part I used from the donor gun was the action and it was from a T/C22 which is just a Ruger clone, but I liked it as it had the pic rail built in. Anyway, here is the rest of the story. Receiver was internally threaded to 3/4-16 so that the barrel would mount like my other custom BR actions. I threaded and chambered the .920 Douglas Barrel to fit and chambered it based on being in the 10/22 platform which basically means it has to be a little larger chamber with more taper for feeding. This is still way tighter than a factory chamber, even a Bentz. I purposely did not go too loose as this is built for accuracy and precision which it is does very good at. What this means is that it can be a bit finicky with certain ammo's and feeding. I only use SK or better (Lapua normally) and it runs pretty good. It may take some trial and error to see what ammo you have that it likes. This is a bench gun, not a walking around gun as the barrel is pretty long and heavy. It has a Kidd Bolt, springs, and 3oz/3oz trigger. It also has their rear action mount that creates a second action screw into the stock. The stock has been inletted and bedded to fit. The stock is a Boyd's At-One. The scope on it is not priced with it. Price is $1000. As I got the barrel for free and did all of the work, just the parts are worth more than this. So why am I selling? I'm just not a 10/22 guy. If you like 10/22's and accuracy, this is a pretty good opportunity to pick up something that will outshoot most factory bolt actions with ease. Pickup in Franklin, Columbia, or Murfreesboro areas as I am in between all three. Any questions, just let me know.
