This Outdoorsman is a S&W 5-screw, "pre-Model 23" made in 1955 with matching serial numbers. It has an exceptional finish with slight wear. The only rust I found is a small spot on the butt near the serial number. The N-frame is, of course, capable of handling higher than standard pressure .38 Special rounds. Sorry, the original box is long gone. I'm offering it at $1200 firm to members with a valid TDL or EHCP. Knoxville area, no trades.7 points

Bought these at a local indoor range for about $50. Asking $25. They work fantastically but I just prefer the in-the-ear kind of EarPro. . FTF Transaction in Murfreesboro.2 points

We actually do have state supremacy with regards to firearms laws in Tennessee. The issue with things like the metal detectors at the fairgrounds are actually a specific carve out granted in the statutes by the state. Signs carrying the force of law is something that many of us find obnoxious and have worked for a long time to change. I would strongly suggest joining and supporting the TFA as they are doing all of the heavy lifting in the fight for that change. The way the TICS system works is fairly obnoxious and I won’t argue with that. However, I will say that in the grand scheme of things, there are better places to spend political capital to make changes in the near and mid-term. The lack of public land that is open and available to shoot on is something that I always make sure that I warn people of who are considering moving here from out west. Public land just simply doesn’t exist in the manner in which it does where you are from. State parks and other public lands here generally are set up for a much higher density of usage than required for the millions upon millions of open acres that you find out west. It sucks, but it is what it is. As far as the carryi of loaded long guns, which is illegal in Tennessee unless directly connected to sporting activity, I too would like to see some change within that realm. That said, you were coming from one of the last vestiges of western culture that exist in this country, and until California started screwing everything up coming in from the West Coast, you generally had a spectrum from very urban to very not going from east to west. The cultures reflected that. The more urbanized the area, the less acceptable that sort of behavior is Not because it’s wrong, it’s just unusual in an urban setting. On that note, the greater metro Nashville area has a greater population than the entirety of the state of Idaho. It may surprise some, but even the very rule parts of Tennessee are very densely populated in comparison to much of the western states that are mostly owned by the federal government. So, I’m not trying to shut you down or tell you you were wrong. Just provide a little context from the perspective of somebody who has spent significant amounts of time out west as well as being from this area. You do bring up things that absolutely could be better. I strongly recommend supporting the Tennessee Firearms Association’s work if you would like to see progress made on those fronts.2 points

Not sure I want to really sell this, but going to list it as I will probably get more use out of putting the money into a boat at the new place. It doesn't get the use it should, but I also really love this bike as an all around great bike. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell, but if you are in the market, would save you at least a few thousand for the same bike equally equipped. Only 519 miles. As new with a many nice addons. Comes with factory cruise, heated seats (driver and passenger), heated grips, electronic suspension adjustments for different riding modes. I guess if you are actually interested, you probably know a bit about these (or will research them well). - Barkbuster Hand Guards - 2" Rox handlebar risers for a better riding posture - Dunlop Trailmax Missions for better light off road use and still great on the pavement. The factory Metzlers will also come with it which are a 90/10 road tire. They were swapped when new, so no wear on them at all. - Slightly larger smoke Givi Windscreen is on it, but will also come with factory windscreen. - T-Rex Racing Skid plate and lower engine guards - Bumot pannier racks and locking soft cases. These are really nice because Bumot also makes hard cases that fit the same rack. These are very high quality. - Garmin Zumo XT with Evotech mount - and something I am sure I am forgetting This bike isn't cheap, but it is really setup to do just about anything you want. It's only ~500 lbs which is nice. . I have many pictures if someone is really interested.1 point

Mine are RCBS FL Dies. There are other brands available, but they get the job done. The 9.3 x57 is the hard one the only thing out there is Hornady and they are really hard to come by. Good luck and don't worry about it being ugly because pretty is what pretty does1 point

I finally found my favorite plastic hammer-fired pistol. These things are no longer made and are hard to find in person , at least is was for me over the past few years. I found a nice used IWI Jericho 941. For me it's the best feeling and best looking polymer pistol. I have turned into a metal gun person but this polymer one just does it for me. Old school hammer-fired but new style polymer. I don't like finger grooves on a pistol but these are extremely well placed and usable. Frame-mounted safety so it can be carried cocked-and-locked. DA/SA action. It is the well proven CZ75 design. Made is Israel by Israeli Weapons Industries. Just thought I'd share.1 point

I refuse to use a high lift jack and bought a 6 ton bottle jack with accessories instead. Those things look deadly. I keep a small piece of 2x6 in the truck for a base as well.1 point

New in box never fired/holstered. I got this a while back direct from Glock Smyrna to my FFL here. This was held in reserve by Glock as per FBI contract as so many had to be held a certain amount of time in case of replacement. I have worked with Glock Management on several projects since Nineteen Ninty and was offered this one to purchase. None of the M guns were ever marked and reserve guns stayed at factory. These are Gen5 before Gen 5 was released to public. MFG date 1/17 FBI Spec's Straight front grip area-Flared Magwell-Extended slide stop lever-Rounded mag catch-ndlc finish inside parts-Ameriglo night sights. Three fifteen round mags/back straps. Original box. I will not be providing copy of receipt because of sensitive phone numbers and name of Management still with Glock , so just a unique gun at a fair price. $650 Firm No trades wanted TN DL over 211 point

We might be next door to memphis, but my little town has a reputation for having an outstanding Police Dept. The bad guys know this and we're generally pretty quiet. Gonna be interesting to see what happens with a soft on crime County DA. I'm betting it won't be good. Harris is a more or less do nothing County Mayor. He hasn't accomplished much, but OTOH he hasn't messed much up either. As long as he continues down that path, I'm not too concerned about him.1 point
