Some countries have decided enough is enough. This is sort of safe for work, but viewer beware, a bit graphic...though you may laugh. BeachMilk on Gab: 'WARNING: DO NOT WATCH this video!...Please look fo…'8 points

My bees were active this spring and I have honey for sale. It is a light honey (a little lighter than last year’s). Probably a lot of Tulip Poplar with other spring flowering trees. Not as much clover I believe as last year because of the early drought. $12 per pound, sold in 1lb and 2.5lb jars. I can meet in and around Greenhills, Brentwood, or I-65/Harding Road.3 points

If I understand the ATF rules correctly (and I am no expert), that combination is a NFA item. (Or may be an NFA item)3 points

I've done it once or twice & honestly, I don't enjoy it. Having the pigs chased gets their adrenaline going & it toughens & taints the meat. Much more fun to take the gun for a walk to spot & stalk them in the thick stuff.3 points

My favorite was the guy trying to walk on his broken leg. If you follow Active Self Protection on YouTube he's always showing videos out of Brazil. It's become a joke in the comments section. I will never visit Brazil.3 points

This is a very nice Model 18. The box (with correct S/N) is included. The pictures tell the story. Just need to know you are a legal buyer - prefer to see a flash of your HCP.2 points

Anyone have any first hand experience with this cartridge? Pet loads etc. I've got an old Rem 721 out to J.E.S. currently getting rebored & chambered to it because, well, I don't have one & I occasionally like to pretend it's 1912 & hogs are elephants or buffalo.2 points

When an angry hog comes out of the palmettos in Florida heading straight for you, it may as well be an elephant.2 points

No I appreciate it, my understanding was this belonged to an old detective and was passed to an older lady I know. So I have no history with it so I've never looked into it. I truly appreciate it.1 point

Bottom of page 5. It is the fact that the pistol is concealed in the “wallet” and can still be fired. It is only an NFA item when combined. https://www.atf.gov/file/56386/download1 point

Sad news, but thank you for passing it along. No matter how many times I encounter the passing of a member, it always gives me pause to reflect.1 point

Have multiple Stack on safes for ammo and firearms (two more not shown are for rifles and carry handguns). Most people think these are useless. Oddly, they are similar to what my old Sheriffs' Dept used for duty weapons. If you think these are easy to break into, I had to cut the door off one with a cutting disk when I lost they key. Took a long time and that cabinet is now at the recycliers Are anchored to both concrete floor and wall studs with bolts.1 point

Play stupid games and Win stupid prizes. We need to start this in Memphis. Can I burrow a vehicle to use?1 point

I mean in many ways a vehicle can be a better weapon than a firearm. I've seen cops mow people down too. Highly effective.1 point

What I find most notable in that collection is the high number of third parties acting on behalf of others. Some random person driving by, sees the robbery in process and then just mows them down with their car. That is indicative of a level of community and shared responsibility that I just don’t know is as present here.1 point

If this does somehow pass the Senate, I'm pretty sure there will be constitutional issues. Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC) got Jerry Nadler to admit on record in a hearing that the bill's goal was to restrict guns "in common use". That comment goes directly against prior Supreme Court rulings. The Chairman of the committee was banging the gavel as Jerry was speaking to try to get him to shut up, because he knew the damage Jerry was causing to the bill. Lol1 point

I have a new, unfired Canik TP9SFX on classifieds if anyone is interested. Bought it on a whim, then tried a friends out and just did not do anything for me, but then again, most of my pistols I like are subcompacts.1 point

As I read it, if any part of the bill is unconstitutional, only that part will be deemed a violation to be revoked. I just find it a little arrogant to tack that onto this bill. Outside of the probable political show, it sounds like they don't really care what is unconstitutional until it's proven not to be in court. As that can usually take awhile, they can get away with a potentially illegal law from the beginning. It's not surprising, but it's rather sad that this type of behavior seems to be the norm anymore. Where's the accountability?1 point

I’m with you. I have never lost a gun, and I won’t start now. The house and senate Democrats and Republicans are a bunch of children doing tit for tat. Their actions have nothing to do with serving the people. We are a country run by the elite and lobbyists for the one percent regardless of party.1 point

I'm registered for the white light 5k. PT: When we were 100 days out from this year's match, I set a list of target run times (3 miles, no load) and dates by which to hit them. My ultimate goal is to do 3 miles under full load in 29 minutes by match day. Anyway, here's the aspirations vs. ugly truth of how I stack up so far: Target date/Time - Actual date/time 5/31 - 32:00 6/1 - 26:45 6/10 - 31:30 6/11 - 28:22 6/20 - 31:00 6/23 - 26:09 6/30 - 30:00 7/1 - 25:27 7/10 - 29:30 7/7 - 25:52 7/20 - 29:00 7/27 - 24:45 7/31 - 28:30 7/29 - 24:06 Marksmanship: I committed to at least one range visit with rifle and sidearm every 4 weeks. Still need to buy an optic and practice low light shooting - not up to snuff on that. Any recommendations for an optic to use in white light nighttime shooting out to 50 or 75 yards? Comms: I committed to learning how to use my hand scanner effectively so I can quickly plug in the target frequency on event day and monitor. On track so far. Land nav.: I need to recheck my pace count with full load and add ranger beads to my kit. Also need to buy a good terrain map of Dead Zero. That's me for now. Looking forward to this year's match!1 point

Those are all nice, but you can't beat an Opinel No. 7, 8 or 9 for simplicity or weight. Those three get you in that 3 to 3.5" blade length. They also lock and weight just under 2oz. They are also available in either carbon or stainless steel and are easily sharpened to scary sharpness. And all three can be had for under $20. https://www.opinel-usa.com/collections/opinel-pocket-knives1 point

I'd suggest checking out Parker's Safes and Vaults down in Shelbyville and they can find you a unit to fit your needs. When I was in the market for a new safe I did some research and had a few phone calls with Aaron and eventually stopped by his shop to look at what he has in stock and eventually chose my safe. Delivery was painless and Aaron and team were very good with getting my safe into a somewhat tricky spot. Safes are one of the items I would consider stepping up a bit on budget to get something that is really going to protect what you put in it. https://parkersafeandvault.com/1 point
