  1. I didn’t even mind some of the mean tweets. I rather enjoyed some of those people finally getting called out for who they really are

  2. Except... The Jan 6 committee is corrupt. It’s a witch hunt to keep trump from running again. It’s a one-sidded story by the usual players. There are Americans being held without due process... what about that. You know they held the doors open for them right

  9. It is the preferred term for Trump used regularly on democraticunderground. They tend to get traumatized easily by certain words over there.

  10. I replaced the original stereo with a modern one I bought from Crutchfield. It came with a little microphone I mounted on my A Pillar for phone calls. After that you just pair your phone with your stereo just like any other Bluetooth device. I added a backup camera that works with the new stereo too. It's was all fairly straightforward. There are lots of videos online to help if you get stuck.

  15. I don’t prefer to open carry in public. I think it can make non-gun owners nervous and could make me a target, if someone was trying to commit a crime oand was smart enough to look around first.

  22. Thanks. gorgeous setup, but little more than I want to spend for now. I found somebody on etsy that hand makes them to fit. I got one for my gun with the cant I wanted and all. $28 shipped. Just received today. Good quality for the price and seems to fit the wrangler nicely. I'm interested to see how it performs. Thanks for the input!

  24. You can buy a bluetooth radio transmitter. I have one in my truck, that I bought from Amazon. Works great for streaming music. This is the one I bought, https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-FM-Transmitter-Wireless-Adapter/dp/B07F2RTN5Z/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3H6W9UUJFYM6E&keywords=bluetooth+car+adapter&qid=1658858096&sprefix=bluetooth%2Caps%2C244&sr=8-4

  25. Take those same long, thin slices. Get some string cheese sticks and cut them to the same length as the zucchini is wide and get a slice of deli ham. Zucchini on the bottom, then the slice of ham folded to width, then cheese. Roll that up and pin it with toothpicks. Sprinkle with whatever seasoning you like. Grill until the cheese is melty. Delicious. That's how I got my kids to eat zucchini. Now I mostly just sautee them with squash and onions. That's real tasty too. Shred it and make zucchini bread or add to spaghetti sauce. Zucchini doesn't have much flavor when cooked, so its easy to add to other stuff for some "free" vegetable content.

  27. We’re all entitled to our opinion. Evil old men don’t realize they’re creating a toxic environment for their grandchildren to exist in down the road. Also, I’m not a fan of the current president, but I would have literally voted for a real orange before voting for TFG.

  28. The only down side would be if the company finds out he is carrying at work (against company policy and not because he defends himself or others) and gets terminated for breaking policy. That is a situation I mull over in my head with the same policy.

  29. We did a variation called "bailing out". You get as high as you can, then flip your feet up over your head and (hopefully) land on your feet below the swing. No broken bones that I recall, and lordie! we did it without helmets and elbow or knee pads.

  31. Most commonly AIWB, left or right. I also find it the most comfortable and least likely to imprint. Also, if it does imprint, I can see it. When I carry at the 4-6 o’clock position, I can’t see it. Also, not very comfortable at those positions when driving. I agree I was a little nervous about it pointing at my junk at first, but I got over it. It did make me more conscious of how I am re-holstering.

  34. For about 20 years I've used an El Paso Saddlery 1920 Crossdraw: https://epsaddlery.com/product/1920-crossdraw-2-to-7-12-barrels/ It's not inexpensive, but it holds up to real use. Mine is scuffed & stained on the exterior, but still works fine.

  35. Just my thoughts... Very surprised to see all the diffrent caliber preferences. Granted, actual use not declared whether hunting or target but, imo, a great all around is the 308 Winchester. 500 yard steel targets ring out with regularity. On a good eye day, even the 4 inch swingers get action at that distance. For MOA fans, 150 grain ballistics is not a lot diffrent than a 5.56 in that a 100 zero gets a 2, 4, 7 or 11 MOA crank for 200, 300, 400 and 500 yard clang action. For me, hunting past 300 is not ethical. Really, 250 these days since my eyes just don't make the grade anymore. Harvesting good meat is what matters so a magnum blaster up close is just not required. In fact, that was one of the reasons i went tinkering with the 350 Legend and 458 SOCOM. 150 yards is a cakewalk for both of those calibers but no farther. So overall, the 308/7.62x51 rules around my camp for an all purpose go-to. Smoky

  36. Thank you @peejman! I looked at each of those farm's websites. Nice! I live less than 4 miles from Dixie Lee Junction (West Knox) so I may just hit their farmer's market this weekend. Lived here for 16 years and never been. I guess it's about time. The farms you listed are all with 25 or so miles from me, so they may be in my future. Much obliged.

  37. You can still find a conversion cylinder that will allow you to shoot regular ammo in one. Just need to look around on line and see what brand the conversion cylinder kit fits and you can have both precusion and metallic cartridge in one gun.

  38. I'm still a fan of the 30-06. I shoot a 338 Lapua, too, but for an all arounder capable of doing most anything, the 06 can't be beat.

  40. LOL! I've tried a few pricey bottles, but honestly, after training my liver on 750ml bottles with a good buddy, you can't beat The Glenlivet 12 year. 40 bucks, with 2 tumblers and a gift box. Get one of those and a glass of ice, it'll make you a fan.
