Selling (or trade towards a 10mm 1911) my Glock 29 customized by Wilson Combat. Awesome woods gun. Shoots great…better than any stock glock. Wilson Combat gave it an action tune so gun has a 3.5-4.5 lb trigger pull with a cleaner break. Internal parts were polished, the factory connector was replaced with an Apex Performance connector and lighter striker and trigger return springs. Front Cocking serrations added, along with a Double high cut trigger guard, and the Slide coated with oxidized Combat Tuff in burnt bronze/ black. Has Truglo Tritium Pro Night Sights and an upgraded heavier recoil spring. Included are 3 glock magazines with pierce grip extensions. Firm at $600. For the price of a new stock Glock 29, you can have a broken in (estimate 750 rounds) custom 29 with over $600 worth of upgrades and accessories. As much as I want to like the Glock platform, I just prefer 1911s, so I will be switching to a 10mm in that platform.4 points

I met a guy one time and got to know him and knew him quite a while before I found out he was ATF. Great guy, but after I found out he was ATF I had to cut ties with him. Just couldn't trust him, because even though he seemed like a great guy, I bet he could turn pretty quick if he smelled something with you. I question the motives of anybody that would even want that job. Now some of you would say that if you aren't doing anything wrong there is nothing to worry about, but I would submit that almost everybody that has ever owned firearms has violated a firearm law at some point.2 points

Relisting. I sold the heavy Surefire light and swapped it out for Magpul furniture. Much better ergonomics. Location is near Murfreesboro. Please PM me with questions. I don’t respond to “call me” posts/messages. Please be a TN resident and willing to flash ID when we meet. No trades- trying to get the collection down to a specific number. Bought this from another member in December. I rationalized it because the Vang Comp work is worth $800 alone, (that’s a hyperlink) not to mention the 590A1 is no longer being produced. Two range trips, about 50 rounds through it, shoots tight groups, more than reasonable recoil for 00 buck. Vang Comp claims 12” pie plate accuracy at 25 yards with buck. I didn’t get to test that claim, but it does pattern absurdly tight. This was apparently sold as new in this configuration, so it’s a “factory” Vang Comp gun. Original owner said us was a long-time low-use safe queen and I believe he paid around $1600 for it. Upgrades: Vang Comp fully tuned action Vang Comp Stock Vang Comp "back bore barrel process" (modifies to a very tight internal choke without tubes- lengthens the forcing cone) + forward barrel porting for recoil control Front hooded tactical night sight (looks like it takes any AR sight post) Rear ghost ring sight Rear Picatinny optic rail Large dome head safety button Stainless steel tube follower Heavy duty tube spring All steel mag “breacher” (or melee weapon- it’s really sharp) extension tube. 6+1 capacity with Wolf 00, but I suspect it’s 7+1 with slightly shorter shells. It’s sooo close Magpul Furniture Velcro side saddle with 2 saddles $880 FIRM, you come to me (Live rounds not included) That’s lint/dust on the ports in the third picture. No wear.1 point

The two Ducati motorcycles are gone, but the Harley is still here. Anyone need a nice HD? I've decided to thin the herd substantially, so three different bikes for sale. The first has been listed here for a time: 2004 Ducati 999 Standard. The bike has 6817 miles on it, and is in great condition. I bought this bike several months ago from a fellow who had it sitting in his shop for 6 or 7 years. I brought it home and went through the bike from front to back, doing all the maintenance and repairs required. The bike now runs and looks great. A partial list of things done: New front tire, rebuilt brake calipers, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, replaced clutch slave cylinder, replace battery, replaced air filters, fuel filters, fuel pump, oil and filter and coolant. Did a full desmo service, valves are all adjusted within spec and replaced the cam belts. I'm sure there's other stuff I forgot. $7200 firm. The only trade that might interest me would be an S1000RR with cash on my end. The bike is not registered or insured, so a test ride requires cash in my hand and signing a liability agreement. Second is a 2008 Ducati 1098S. Take a look at my Craigslist ad in Knoxville for pics and a full description. 10,xxx miles on the bike, fresh service, excellent condition, $10,000. Finally, a 2007 Harley Davidson XL1200C. This one is also listed in the Knoxville CL. 8100 miles, excellent condition, $5500. All of these bikes are well-maintained and the Ducatis have never been ridden faster than 160 mph. Clean titles on all.1 point

This is a home made cannon, I used it for display purposes only and its a great conversation piece. I would not recommend anyone fire the cannon. Its about 2 feet tall for size reference. It was built by an ex 101st soldier and I have had it for a few years. $125.001 point

It’s easier to back into a spot than to back out of one. Also, it’s habit as most of my parking is in truck much, much larger and you always back those in.1 point

Im a supervisor at a boat factory and we have a simple solution for that. If you are late for your shift then you get a half point. If uou start at 630 I expect you to be in my startup meeting at 630. Miss a full day and its 1 point. 4 points is a warning, 5 points is a final warning which means no promotion, raises or moving to other departments for a year. 6 point is termination, no questions asked. It can seem harsh but its fair.1 point

I am by no means an expert but it sure does look like an M4 bayonet designed for the M1 Carbine. Yours would be WWII made with the leather handle.1 point

Every time you think that surely it can’t get any worse a new detail is revealed and we find out that it absolutely gets worse. https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2022/06/21/officer-husband-of-slain-uvalde-teacher-was-detained-had-gun-taken-away-after-trying-to-save-wife/ Before this is all over with there is a significant possibility that Pete Arredondo‘s name will be placed next to Lon Horiuchi’s in the hall of shame of egregious acts of malfeasance by law-enforcement.1 point

The head of the Texas DPS lays it out quite clearly right here. As he says everything that we the public and law-enforcement agencies have learned and settled on as doctrine since Columbine was disregarded here. In the case of a mass shooting like this you don’t wait for back up. You don’t wait for equipment. You go in even if it’s you by yourself. That is explicit and clear in the training that the officers in Uvalde have received on multiple occasions even just weeks prior to this. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CfEpaToltGu/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= There is zero excuse for what happened here.1 point

Way back when the TGO receivers were offered here, I built a rifle on a set with a 20" barrel from Yankee Hill. This is as accurate a rifle as I've ever had. I know that is only an experience of one, but I would recommend a look just because of it. https://yhm.net/accessories/barrels/20-fluted-melonite-qpq-barrels-1/ Kinda like this, but i'm thinking mine is a 1 in 8 twist.1 point
