I just got this as my many month search for a commander variant was not successful and of course as soon as I get this exactly what I want becomes available. So I bought that too and this now has to go unfortunately. Cherry condition Dan Wesson Vigil in 9mm, comes with everything you see including the new VZ grips (wood DW included). It is an absolute dream to shoot and far more accurate than I can be. These are next to impossible to find due to limited production and are some of the softest shooting pistols I've ever fired. With the alloy frame and 25lpi checkering, it's a fantastic carry piece without the usual 1911 weight. $1400 in the greater Nashville area.2 points

I have a Howa 1500 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor it has a 26" threaded barrel and came from the factory in a Hogue pillar bedded stock. it has less than 40 rounds through it it was purchased during the great ammo shortage of 2021 it shot great when I shot it it has an EGW 20 moa rail on top that I will include. Howa calls this particular barrel profile semi heavy but it is much closer to sporter than their Heavy profile but it does tip the scales at over 8 pounds as it sits. You can also see in the picture it has an oversized bolt knob. Any questions call or text 224-402-4433 Thanks for looking1 point

This jewel followed me home today from the show in Knoxvegas. Looks to be a 4" barrel in 357 magnum. Has the original box and accompanying paperwork. I'd take $700 for it, but would really like to trade on something. I'd like to find a 1911, maybe something like a Ruger SR1911. But lots of different interests in hunting rifles, long range rifles and handguns. Can trade up or down with cash as needed.1 point

Surely I'm not the only one who just likes to trade. Wish I had the disposable income to just buy guns but usually I have to sell or trade to get something new. Anyways, looks like this one is spoken for.1 point

I'm pretty sure it happened several years back in Memphis. I think it was a motorcycle dealership (Kawasaki?) which had just been robbed or something and they had pretty blatant and obvious signage up afterwards and the owner was super spooked about guns. Those details may not be exact. Going on a few years now but I seem to recall it was a unique one-off case for sure. I think it was discussed here on TGO for a short time. I don't think anyone every reported back here with the outcome so I don't know if the guy was convicted or not.1 point

Yup-let's make it hard for the normal citizen to have these but it won't impede a criminal in the least- There just are people that do not get it-willing to let their rights go bye bye- I wonder how much of these bills are going to be unconstitutional-I think the Supreme Court already ruled on AR15 saying that banning did not pass Constitutional muster- This is what happens when idiots vote-you get idiots in office-1 point

Welcome from another expat. How about those first couple buys? No roster and that giddy feeling of walking out with it, no waiting period. 4 years later, still awesome! If you ever need affirmation of your choice, buy a new gun Fair warning, the mag replacements seem cheap at a few bucks a piece, but really adds up FAST. I wore the numbers off a couple credit cards inside 3 months. Enjoy!1 point

Its backdoor gun control. I just shot off e-mails to my Congress Critters informing them of the situation. I'll bet they have no idea this is happening behind their backs. I suggest you do too. Raise a fuss and make it known!1 point

I'm on the fence with waiting for prices to go down on 5.56 because recent leaks have given information that the Biden administration is trying to get Winchester to stop selling their surplus to civilians.1 point

I've carried a lot, but 3 pretty consistently, 1911>LC9>Glock 26. I keep trying other things, but I really can't steer away from the 26, for me its the perfect in terms of portability, shootability, capacity, and modularity (in terms of magazines).1 point

Hopefully the coalition falls apart before anything gets through. That said, no. Even if this does get through you will not get anything on your wishlist. At all. Ever. That’s not how “compromise” on guns works. When it comes to gun laws the only compromise on the table is that they take away less than they were after, this time. They’ll come for more later, and keep coming until somebody forces them to stop.1 point

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/delaware-lawmakers-pass-historic-gun-legislation-including-ban-on-sale-of-assault-weapons/ar-AAYzF8T?li=BBnb7Kz Delaware lawmakers passed a series of bills late Thursday culminating in one of the most significant days for gun reform in recent Delaware history. This package of bills – which included strengthening background checks, banning the sale of assault weapons and limiting high-capacity magazines – was introduced by Democrats earlier this month after a series of mass shootings including the one in Uvalde, Texas, in which a gunman shot and killed 19 elementary schoolchildren and two teachers. Republicans have been against much of this legislation, often citing Second Amendment rights, the impact on small businesses and the need to improve school security. Republican leadership has also alluded to a possible legal fight if this legislation passed. DELAWARE POLITICS: House Democrats fail to override governor’s weed veto, killing chances of legalization The Senate voted on six pieces of gun reform legislation Thursday night, three of which now head to the governor, who has said he supports these bills. The votes came after prolonged debate from Senate Republicans, which stretched for several hours. The Senate didn't recess until 12:13 a.m. Friday. Two gun-related bills received overwhelming bipartisan support, including one to bring back state background checks for guns. Lawmakers say this legislation will reduce straw purchases and better identify those who are not allowed to own a gun. The federal background check, which is what is used now, can miss those with outstanding warrants or those convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence offenses. All lawmakers in both the House and the Senate voted for this bill. The rest of the Democratic-backed bills voted on in the Senate on Thursday night passed with a vote of 13-8. Sen. Bruce Ennis, D-Smyrna, was the only Democrat to vote against the bills. For House Bill 450, the debate lasted for two hours and 20 minutes, significantly longer than the typical debate for most bills. The legislation would make it illegal to make, sell, purchase or possess assault-style weapons, including AK-47s and AR-15s. This bill, which now heads to the governor’s desk, grandfathers currently owned weapons and protects owners from being misidentified as those breaking the law, and grants certain exceptions for law enforcement and military members. Sen. Dave Lawson, R-Marydel, who is a former gun shop owner and police officer, engaged in an extended debate over the ban on the sale of assault weapons. He asked pointed and technical questions of Democrats’ experts and criticized various aspects of the bill. “The road to hell is paved by good intentions,” Lawson said at one point. “The road was paved,” Sen. Nicole Poore, the bill’s co-sponsor, immediately responded, “when that young man … killed 19 kids and left them unidentifiable.” The General Assembly also passed legislation that would define and ban "large-capacity magazines" as a firearm with a capacity to hold more than 17 rounds of ammunition. This bill has gone back and forth between the Senate and House in the past year. When the House passed the Senate bill in 2021, representatives added amendments that would have allowed for the ownership of large-capacity magazines but include a stricter punishment if used in a crime. It also changed the definition of what the legislation defined as a “large-capacity magazine." It then languished in the Senate due to many senators being frustrated with the House changes. The bill, Senate Substitute 1 for Senate Bill 6, that passed in both chambers on Thursday is similar to the original Senate version, with some revisions. It’s now expected to be signed by the governor. One concern raised by Republicans was how this legislation could affect a Georgetown business that manufacturers magazines. Republican Sen. Brian Pettyjohn, who represents the area, introduced a bill this week that would allow a Delaware magazine manufacturer to sell and transport magazines as long as it is sold to people outside of the state. Rep. Ruth Briggs King, R-Georgetown, previously introduced this as an amendment in a former version of the bill. This bill had overwhelming bipartisan support. The Senate also passed two bills that will ban the use of devices that convert handguns into fully automatic weapons and hold manufacturers liable for negligent actions that lead to gun violence. The latter of these two bills is named after Keshall “KeKe” Anderson, who at 19 was an innocent bystander in a 2016 shooting that resulted in her death. The gun involved in the shooting was purchased through a straw purchase. Both bills now head to the House. The Senate tabled HB 451, which would increase the purchasing age for most firearms to 21 years old. It’s expected to be voted on before the session ends June 30.0 points
