  2. Sorry Dustbuster, you beat me too it. Some guys may think your price is to high. But waiting for a year for a Dillon press and the other stuff you have, it’s a fair deal and will pay for itself in the long run. I have two Dillons, two RCBS’s, and Hornaday presses. How much dough I have invested, have no idea and don’t care. All I care about is being able to turn out quality ammo at a price no one can beat. Having .50 cal ammo cans filled to the brim gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

  3. I’ve just came in from looking at a spectacularly beautiful moon on this cool night and it just give me the chills. I thought of how silent that night was when the Lord lay in that old stone cold, borrowed tomb…His pierced body lay there just biding the time until He took it up again - and looking up tonight at that big bright moon I wondered if ol Satan was celebrating, truly believing that he had actually won, and did he hold that title deed to the Earth up and shake it in defiance? ………. Tsk tsk tsk! That pride, that fallen, wicked pride! After the pride…then the fall! Boys, when that sun rises this morning, I’ll be waiting for it! Wooo I’ll be waiting for it! Oh brothers y’all KNOW Jesus was a waitin for it! That stone was rolled away and He come on up outta there! Oh Death! Where IS thy sting!? VICTORY! VICTORY! Who is worthy to take the scroll, to break the seven seals on the title deed to the Earth??? The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ answers this in Chapter 5 (aka “Rev-layshuns Five” to us hillbillies); Rev 5, v1-14 Read it and weep! I sure did…still weepin over what I read in that teeny chapter! Tears of joy! Old Scratch will be weepin too, after that scene, oh but them tears are gonna be bitter tears of anguish and resentment. He thought that he could rise above the Uncreated One and he failed. Good. Come up the sun! It’s Resurrection Sunday today and I feel like shouting to the mountains, and since they’re in my back yard, heck why not? I’m new here to the site and I’ma trying to get my posting in so I can be an active member/contributor because I’ve got a bunch of ammunition and some guns that I’m going to hafta part with, much to my utter chagrin I might add. I make no apologies for what I’ve written, because it’s what I believe and it’s what I have written on my heart - corrupt, blackened, and shriveled cholesterol pump that it is! My heart. Mine. This old boy! I’m not trying to tell anyone what they have to have in their own heart because that is your prerogative. If what I just wrote offends you, well, feel free to flame me, but it won’t do you a bit of good (plus I might not sell you some of my reasonably priced pew pew, either) because I’m not going to engage in any back-and-forth…I just ain’t gonna. We’re Tennesseans here and we should all no better’n that kinda foolishness no how. I just wanted to share how I was feeling with my new friends and now I’ve done that. Whatever this very special day means to y’all, I sincerely hope that you have a wonderful time of it…maybe it’s with your family, your friends, your pets, but however, what ever, and with whom ever - I just want to wish everyone that EVER reads this (even if it’s deleted after one read by a moderator): to YOU I say Happy Easter! I hope that it’s a wonderful day, a safe day, and a special day! I hope it’s just the greatest and I mean that.

  5. Sig Cross in 6.5 Creedmoor, 18"barrel, 5rd mag, box and manual. I have put 55rds through this gun (i wrote it down so that isn't just a number pulled outta no where) 5rds to zero at 100yds, 15rds at 800yds, then 35 on another day at 100yds. I like shooting long range and honestly this gun is just to light for me, I like a heavier gun. This would make an excellent hunting rifle. I don't need any trades I already bought what I needed. The scope is NOT included. And the price is firm, as these are $1600+ new +tax etc etc... Call or text 865-223-3028 $1300

  11. I think I got a pretty fair deal on this one in 25-36M (25-35 Win). The guy wanted 1K, I offered 8 and met in the middle at 900. The bore looks shootable but has fine pitting all threw it with the lands being on the some what shinny side. I have over 300 fired 30-30 brass so I'm looking to resize some into 25-35. Anyone here done that? It has original sights and the screw slots are only slightly worked. Now its the mate to my 1893 30-30 take down. Just can't put my finger on out of all the rifles out there, a nice original shape 1893 calls to me. Pick one up off a table and my brain turns to jelly with wants.....just crazy.....Must have spent alot of time with one in my hands in a past life!

  15. Totally avoidable by the homeowner. He left the intruder and was in the safety of his own home. Came back out armed and shot the guy. Should have called the police. IMO, stupid, murder. Will have a lot of time sitting in a cell figuring other options he should have taken.

  16. Total number of tables is irrelevant, still gonna have half of it occupied by flea market wares. Knoxville shows have the bonus of massage therapists and gutter guard peddlers, lol.

  17. From what I remember from back when I actually went to gunshows in Tennessee, if you do find one with 1000 tables half of them will be filled with camo, cheap trinkets, clothing items, jerky and that obnoxious bug zapper person ...

  18. I didn't see this yesterday or I would have commented. Thanks to OP for your post. I know you didn't just join, but welcome to the site anyways. And resurrection Sunday is the brightest day of the year, no doubt. Jesus is King, Savior, Waymaker and to think that we as sinful mortal men can become a brother to Jesus and be rewarded as his kinfolk. Only if we believe that He is the Son of God, born of a virgin, died on that cross at Calvary and arose from that grave 3 days later. This isn't in the Bible, just my take on things. When each person dies, God will be interested in 1 question more than any other. What did you do with my son Jesus? You either accepted Him as Lord and Master, or you rejected Him. It is just that plain to me. I always try to tell people that you have to decide on this side of eternity, where you plan on spending all of eternity, because once you cross over that line, there will be no 2nd chances to change your mind.

  19. I’ll give this one a try, since it’s got just as good a chance of working as any of the other suggestions (I made a funny!), possibly. Without knowing any more details about how the phone is set up, I can only offer up some generalizations, but the culprit is likely the browser settings on your phone. Try clearing the history, cookies, cache, etc. I’m just going on an assumption that you’re using the included, default browsing app for the iPhone (if it’s even is an iphone…I’m deducing this from your mention of having an iPad, but certainly isn’t a given), which is the Safari browser. If clearing those didn’t help, try downloading/installing an altogether different web browser from the App Store on your phone and trying that (and use only default settings)….if you find that you can login using chrome then you’ll know for 100% that it’s one of the settings (security or privacy, perhaps) within Safari that’ll need to be changed…then you can narrow it down by comparing the settings for the working browser until you find the culprit, afterwards you could uninstall the second browser that you used for testing, or keep it if you like, whatever. I hope this helps…if you find that you still have an issue, maybe do a reply where you give some more details (the devil is always there!) such as phone OS, browser app, whether or not this has always been the case, are you unable to login to only this specific site only, are you able to login but just cannot post, have you tried it on a computer and if so did it work….there are so many variables that, if known, can literally be a roadmap to follow straight to the issue.

  23. Biggest show my way is the Knoxville expo show which promotes itself as a 500 table show but usually is somewhere around 400 tables (NOT vendors) A 1000 table show doesn't exist within 2 hours of Crossville, or at least not that im aware of. Closest 1000 table show would probably be Kentucky expo show once or twice a year. Or maybe a larger show to the south of us (AL or GA)

  28. Fellas I just can’t explain to y’all just how much I’ve enjoyed checking in throughout today, Resurrection Sunday, and reading these great replies…and, speaking as someone who spent two decades reading posts but never speaking, I know that there will have been many others who will have received edification simply by reading what’s been posted by you others! I sincerely thank you as I have truly received a rich, rich blessing from you; I needed it so very badly. Bless y’all! Those fellers who left Scripture for us, I thank you especially as God clearly told us that His Word never returns to Him null and void (excuse my paraphrasing), and that’s something that literally has my arm hairs standing straight up right now; that’s POWER, brothers! I honestly hope that everyone had a great and wonderful Easter, and, though we go back to the old salt mine tomorrow, it’s my genuine desire that the joy of this glorious day energizes us all as we labor on through the week. I truly feel like I’m going to end up with some good friends for life here among my like-minded fellow Tennesseans…y’all have a great week!

  34. Keep it at my house. Be sure to leave the key in case I need to move it around. I've had my wife for 43 years, and have owned one or more bikes continuously for 48 years. She knows that bikes are part of who I am, and luckily for me, she enjoys riding with me on nice days. I've had a few close calls, but then I've had close calls in the Marine Corps, in cars, out in the woods, and walking across the street. No one gets out alive, you may as well have fun while you're here.

  41. The National Park Rangers are advising hikers in Glacier National Park and other Rocky Mountain parks to be alert for bears and take extra precautions to avoid an encounter. They advise park visitors to wear little bells on their clothes so they make noise when hiking. The bell noise allows bears to hear them coming from a distance and not be startled by a hiker accidentally sneaking up on them. This might cause a bear to charge. Visitors should also carry a pepper spray can just in case a bear is encountered. Spraying the pepper into the air will irritate the bear's sensitive nose and it will run away. It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear scat so you have an idea if bears are in the area. People should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat. Black bear droppings are smaller and often contain berries, leaves, and possibly bits of fur. Grizzly bear droppings tend to contain small bells and smell of pepper.
