  2. I can't say that I have ever had mine stuck simply because of wet grass on a hill. Typically when you see zero turns stuck, I think it is more operator error. I don't know how many times I have seen guys trying to go through a ditch of some sort straight on. They get the rear stuck on the downslope. The biggest issue I think many have is thinking if I push the lever farther forward it will give me more power. Wrong. These things have plenty of torque, just keep the wheel moving and not spinning. I guess we all have our own experiences with them, but I don't know anyone personally who has bought a good zero turn and regretted it.

  5. Hardly put the blame for the above on the mower. Don't put yourself in harm's way. If you're mowing on a slope, a more aggressive tire would be a good start, plus a wider stance. I DO NOT mow when wet, for several reasons.

  9. Guys. I know I don’t post much. Mainly just a lot of reading to learn. Well it’s time for me to do a little teaching If you do not have one of GT’s knives get one or two I have several custom made knives and have wanted to get one of Grand Torino’s because they look good. In the past I have always been a day late and yeah sometimes a dollar short. But NOT THIS TIME. His craftsmanship is top shelf. The fit and finish on this knife is probably the best these hands have held. And the edge( while not yet proven) is super sharp I am rough on a knife and I’m sure to do a follow up on how well it preforms GT. Thank You Sir

  11. I just added bike #6 to the stable. This one's a 2006 Ducati 999 with just 6000 miles on it. But it's been sitting for several years and needs a bunch of things done before it can be ridden. I'm looking forward to it, though.

  13. Sorry man, I've turned my reloading room upside down & they're gone. All I can think is that I must've swaged them down for my 9x57. Or the bullet fairy pinched them.

  15. I've got some 200gr Hornady Spitzers that I bought by accident for my 336 in 35Rem. Still work ,but as you know I would only load one at a time in the tube so as not to have chain reaction. Next time your up my way, they are yours if you want them.

  19. Brothers n sisters... Remember this one thing... The CNC machines that produce all these parts are stupendously accurate. If the base materials are as good, there is no substantial difference in any of these scatterguns other than name and price. Take a look at the 1911and AR market... A bajillion parts suppliers and basically there same results... frugal leroy...

  22. I have carried a 43x for the last 22 months.Light, compact, accurate yet the grip is long enough that your pinky finger isn’t hanging off with the mag removed.I have Ameriglo Hackathorn ( tritium/fiber optic front, plain rear) sights on it and they work really well.

  25. I used to do a lot of load development for the rifles Brandon and I built at MTG and everything down to the primers can effect the rounds performance. Ammo can play a huge part in accuracy of a firearm.

  28. And it's that easy for bad decisions to get you killed.... Once you go inside the house STAY INSIDE the house and call the cops. Don't go back outside armed and confront them. This is tragic but completely preventable.

  29. This subject was raised a few months back and I was educated and corrected by more knowledgeable members here on the law regarding it. You only need the correct form if you were going to transfer it In a title II status. Removing the stock and replacing it in a brace returns into a title I status and means that you can travel across state lines with it freely. An SBR is only treated as an SBR when it is configured as an SBR. Changing the configuration changes the way it is treated under the law.

  33. Not disagreeing with you entirely, but yes to your question about testing and field work ... Benelli did it. If they are making a true clone then there is little difference. Then you are looking at individual parts that if they don't hold up can be replaced with Benelli or better aftermarket parts. I have used the Hawk/IAC/Pardener 870 clones and believe they are better than the Remington's. The Hawk I have, actually has a better grade steel than Remington's due to US EPA regulations and it takes straight 870 part with only a slight modification to the forearm. It's not different than 1911's or AR's other than scale.
