  3. They are fat and I guess you'd say crude but they run and run. Their slides are cast steel and the metal frame are cast aluminum. I've never seen one fail. They were Rugers entry into the 80s "wonder nine" pistols like the Beretta 92 and SW 59 series.

  4. Looks like I caught the omicron last week at the chiropractor's office First symptoms hit Saturday morn as sniffles, increasing head ack and zero energy. At this first sign, I took Ivermectin pictured above. 2, 12mg tabs that first Saturday. Sunday the same symptoms but the head Ack was pretty bad, a cough and very, very tired. I took 2 more 12 mg tabs, Monday it started to ease up as I took 18mg threw the day. Tuesday I tested but felt notably better. Wednesday, still some sniffles and very slight cough. Today, results were positive for Covid but I am about 95 percent recovered. The thing no body said about taking the Ivermectin was about 30-45 minutes after taking it, most symptoms relaxed somewhat for a few hours after taking the dose. All in all, as a NON vaccinated 62 year old, I had 2 crappy days and even then, I still fiddled around in my garage on my old Dodge Cummins truck. All the political hype on this is insane. I had the Flue once back in like 89 and it was way, way worse than this. That one was bed ridden for days and couldn't keep any food down. This Covid didn't even bother my appetite at all! Wife is now coming down with it and I have her on the Iver today. And You tube has all but deleted everything on Iver dosing! Man oh man how this country has completely collapsed to the whims of big pharma. Looks like the Live Free or Die crowd has shriveled down to a minority these days.

  6. I recently bought this from another member and have decided to go with something else. Will ship just as shown as the box was ruined out in the shop due to a leak. In great shape and seems to have lived a good easy life. $350 shipped or FTF in the Memphis area.

  7. Jesse is well known for licensing or stealing designs and claiming them as his own. He is a pretty crappy human being. I'm not crazy about HAVING to skirt the law, but I wouldn't mind owning one of the fightlite setups just for the originality. https://fightlite.com/rifles/scr

  8. That is either modeled after our licensed by Ares / Fightlite. They use a modified carrier that has a tail that works with a Mossberg style recoil system. I have an Ares rifle and they run a less than a third their ridiculous price. They stocks are swappable for most any nice Mossy custom stocks and you can run any AR upper using the proprietary carrier. Gives lots of great options. The JJ version must be meant for the types that would buy Ed Hardy shirts and have all the traits that go with them

  17. This case is a really interesting one. The man who walked free since committing the crime is the scary part. I have actually met him before. I don't want to get into specifics but he's a dangerous person and the insane thing to be is that while awaiting trail he has been released from prison and is out on bond. Not only that, but he is working as a "care giver" for one of his family members and is receiving pay from TennCare for it. It blows my mind. Oh, and a few years back he had a fiancé die. Id Detective Dunaway arrested CA II, who knows. The fiancé may not have died. I'm of the opinion he should face charges, not just lose his pension.

  20. I have long wondered if everyone is supposed to have liability insurance on their auto, why in the world do we have to pay for uninsured motorists?? Back in Mississippi there were quite a few Hispanics and they were pretty bad for driving without license or insurance. After one hit me while stopped for oncoming traffic, I told the Highway patrol that instead of arresting these people and us supporting them in jail, that I had a much better idea. Tow their car to the impound and charge $25 per day storage until they could provide proof of insurance and license. They would either comply like everyone else or run out of cars.

  24. If needed, there's Jeff Walle (Wally) at Guns-n-Leather in Greenbriar. He works Thu-Sat, last I heard. He was at Specialty Arms for years & has been @ Guns-n-Leather for over 10-12 years now. He's got probably close to 30 years experience & shot competitions for a long time, so he knows what a shooter wants in their guns. The 'smith for Franklin Gun Shop is the father-in-law of my nephew & used to live down the street from me. Sadly, I never got to meet him. I was unaware they had close for Jan but I don't live there anymore either.

  26. Maybe he had an FFL like mine. He has had to go onto a 3rd form in one transaction for me. Those guns are all over the place though. AK pistol, AR pistol, what looks like a single action revolver, other revolvers, Scyy (maybe) semis.. and I think a 1911. Depending on how thos plays out, I could see it somewhat looking like entrapment if the sting was not very careful. I mean one guy buying 73 guns from him?

  29. I love the idea but I think it’s DOA. I hope not but I think he’s praising Kyle a little too much. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he was proven not guilty, and I do consider him a hero, but the general public has a hard time going beyond a not guilty verdict.

  31. FWIW, wife and I had something late December of 2019. Hit us pretty hard for a week or so. Usual symtomology from this. Nothing else until last week of December '21 and a few days in and around New Years. Then we've both felt a little down again. Mild flu-like symptoms, nothing bad. We stayed inside and self medicated. Our PCC agreed with us staying home. Said not to come out unless drastic change for the worse. Wife, as a retired nurse, kept saying probably omicron. I think so. I was vaxxed, she wasn't. No outside testing done. I don't see the benefit. We rarely go out anywhere. I do shopping. She stays in. All is good now.

  32. I came down with Omicron January 2nd. I'm 74, unvaccinated, and no co-morbidities. I followed the FLCCC protocol and added NyQuil for the sore throat. It lasted about 5 days and then started to fade. I'm fine now, but I tested positive on Monday so I need to isolate a few more days. It was like a bad case of the flu. My vitamin D level most recently was 95... far above the 20-30ng/ml average. While it didn't prevent covid, I think my high vitamin D level helped me get over it with no long-covid symptoms.
