Hey folks. We had some unexpected downtime yesterday and the first half of today. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the problem until this morning. Fortunately, it was a relatively easy thing to fix. We are back up and running now and I've made some changes to maintenance automation that should prevent this from happening again. Sorry about the inconvenience!11 points

Had work and other family activities all weekend so did not get out at all. I’ll be working this Saturday as well so Sunday is my only option. No matter what the weather I will be back out. The season is gonna be over and I’ve only had one buck that even somewhat tempted me all year so far. I have plenty of venison in the freezer so waiting on a big buck is fine. But if a fat doe pops out I may not be able to pass on the opportunity. If one blows at me I’m busting her on pure principle Good luck and hope y’all get a few more opportunities to hunt than I’ll have left this year.2 points

Life has gotten busy and I have not been back out since opening of muzzle loader. I am hoping to get out some late season. Good luck in the morning.2 points

Poll time. We regrettably lost Steelharp to COVID. I hate that. May he Rest In Peace. How many other TGO members have succumbed to this dreadful virus? How many members do we currently have? Let’s do the math here.2 points

I'm "affectionally" known as THE GRINCH in parts of my family. I think my 2 light up Grinch ties, my full head grinch mask, the small collection of Grinch toys, and the 6 ft motion activate...singing Grinch from a few Christmas dinners really solidified my official standing. Plus...I too hate people in general. They are lazy, worthless, greddy, and uncaring automotons. As individuals, some are worth saving. Not many. But some. And most of them are on here!2 points

A Colorado sheriff’s department caused a stir over the weekend for what many deemed an inappropriate photo: Santa applying for a concealed carry permit. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office posted the photo on its Twitter page. A white-haired bearded man decked out in Christmas attire can be seen sitting at a desk. https://www.foxnews.com/us/colorado-sheriffs-santa-photo-outrage-social-media-issues-apology1 point

Good for him, probably more acceptable if he was smoking a joint. My daughter lives in Colorado Springs, that whole area is woke!1 point

So can we assume that right now you have no reloading gear at all? The place to begin is to purchase a good reloading manual. They all include instructions on reloading, and will give you a good idea of what you need to start. You don't need to invest a whole lot of money to begin, but be warned, you can spend a butt-load of money if you're so inclined. Right now is a tough time to begin reloading, as components are harder to get than they have been in the past. But components are out there. I live about an hour from Oliver Springs, but if you want to come this far I can give you a demo of loading both 45-70 and 44 Mag.1 point

Politifact regularly lies. I don't know about this one because I refuse to use their site now, but be wary of Amy fact checks done by them. They tried to claim Biden never looked at his watch, even when all video evidence showed the contrary. Afterwards they updated it to "missing context" and still made a fib about when and where he checked his watch. More than fact checking, they give coverage to left leaning sites.1 point

I heard a interview with Wayne Allyn Root, and he said he got sick and used Ivermectin and within 24 hours felt fine. I think the Libs know what they can do with the Vax.1 point

Largely debunked, including by Indian government itself. One of many overviews: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/nov/12/facebook-posts/no-scientific-basis-claims-ivermectins-success-utt/ - OS1 point

Lots of SA YouTubers posting the extreme improbability of no trigger discharge. They have the actual firearms and demonstrate on camera the 4 click positions. Actor George Clooney weighing in doesn't give Baldwin any grace. Basically a seasoned actor that has had gun scenes before should have known to check and have the expert armorer check the gun with him prior to using it. Pretty damning interview. Baldwin's interview, what I've seen of it makes him look like an ass. Add it all up and I'm tending to agree with the majority here that Baldwin the actor is guilty as well as Baldwin the producer.1 point

This is basically the definition of involuntary manslaughter. They didnt do the killing, but did enable their son to commit the murders both by their actions and inaction. That's a terrible place to be and I hope this does send parents a message.1 point

I was an aircraft mechanic in the Navy for 20 years and I was a SERE instructor. The only field that I consider myself an expert is spending my wifes money. Just ask her, she will tell you.1 point

Glock 19 w/ extra mag Mikov Predator Auto Lever lock Surefire E2T-MV Tactician This is what I carry on my person every day for personal defense. My daily driver has another EDC.... The Zippo stays in the pocket of my M65 field jacket along with a Ranger Silva compass; which is always in the back seat of my truck. the 870 Tac14 and battle belt are covered by the M65. When tensions are high and riots are imminent, the shotgun and belt are replaced with my AR and load bearing vest/plate carrier. Depends on what Defcon we're on. Sorry for the edit....... But this what I carry every day Best regards Rod1 point
