  1. While I agree with your statement your chances of getting a fair trial drop tremendously as we progress through this sh!tshow.

  2. The weapons charge was dismissed as at no time during the trial did the state present any evidence to support this charge.

  3. This kid has done a lot to hurt himself prior to this incident. Hopefully the jury has not been privy to all the photos and his posing with the AR rifle. Like posting a sign on your house stating "This house protected by a 38 Spl, or, we don't call the police here." When you do stupid stuff like this one is asking for trouble down the road if their ever forced into a Self Defense situation. No bumper stickers either. And above all, don't go looking for trouble. Just MH Opinion. This kid has messed up his life.

  5. I don't see it that way at all, he is a regular teen, with teen tendencies. If someone decides that my t-shirt, sticker, sign, or flag deserve me getting assaulted, they had better be willing to suffer the consequences for such actions, up to and including deadly force.

  7. That is true and even extends to forums like this. I am not being anti free speech. But with free speech comes some personal responsibility for what you say. What you say on a public forum or with signs in your yard, or with bumper stickers, or on social media can help you or hurt you. A good prosecutor will use your words against you. Regardless of when you said them.

  8. I think if this ever happens to any of us they prosecutors will bring up TGO and any other gun forums. I hate to think how bad it would look if you have ever had any firearms training or competition using firearms.

  10. It has a 3" barrel but I have been carrying a Colt King Cobra. It has a great trigger and is very accurate.

  11. I would rather it be me on trial, than someone walking away with no charges, or them standing trial for my murder.

  12. I have a strict policy of not being a walking billboard or target while out in public if I can help it. CC, no t shirts with identifying characteristics of my personality, a name brand anything that suggests a certain level of wealth. I shoot for ugly, hairy standoffish A-hole and the many TGO members I've met will tell you I achieve that

  13. I would recommend an old, pinned and recessed Model 28 Smith and Wesson (Highway Patrolman). If your budget allows, go for the glitzier model 27.

  14. You called it! The prosecutor just showed the jury his Tiktok page that shoed him with the AR and also the name of his page reflects his youth. But hey, I was still being stupid well into my 30's and 40's, at least, if not later. Ok, later too.

  17. The S&W Model 28 is nice but I all ways referr to it as "The Boat Anchor" at over 2.5 lbs on the 4", shoots soft but carry? Naw, Id pass on that. If I wanted to get spendy on a nice DA wheel gun, my vote goes for the older 686 or 586. If you want to carry it all day with less range time, the 66/19 is a sweet hart to carry. Now if your cheap like me, I opted for an old model Taurus 669 but the 689's look nice with ribbed barrels. The triggers need a little work to bring them around to near S&W function but they shoot as well as the S&W's in general. The rear sight is what S&W SHOULD have done decades ago! Pocketed a few C notes on a fine 357 S&W L frame clone. I did the trigger to a 8.5 lb DA pull and changed the grip. Keeper. JMO.

  19. I dont know how many brain cells I've lost to Testers model cement as a child. I'd also use it to build models on occasion Recently, a friend started sending me aircraft models and model rockets kits to encourage me to build them after we were talking about childhood hobbies. It had me recently reexamine cements. Daniel provided some good resources, I'd also suggest taking a look at youtube for cement comparisons. I ran across a few that did side by sides of the various types including Tamiya thin cement that contrasts how they work, bond strength, and amount of plastic melt. Also differences in applicators Generally you end up with each type, more critical on small scale and anything with transparent parts, like aircraft canopies. Modern cements have nice range, I dont miss the tendency for fingerprints to end up projects from that little bit you didnt realize was on your finger when old testers was the only option in most stores. Also the reason you paint after glue whenever possible. Another thing that may be of interest, especially if you like space related models, are metal models. They dont need cement or paint and can be a good dexterity excercise. https://www.amazon.com/Fascinations-Metal-Earth-Model-Apollo/dp/B07PNC9887 Have fun with your project.

  20. Considering the fact that you just purchased a high $$$ lever (congrats from a fellow Marlin 357 owner/lover) and are looking at a wheel gun from S&W's PC line (also high $$$) I'm guessing the price tag isn't a major determining factor in your search. Based on that I would say you are spot on with the 327 TRR8. I had one but opted for the 327NG and love it. Weight will most likely offset because of the additional 2 rounds so I wouldn't base it on that. Since it's a PC model you most likely won't have to deal with the trigger issues many standard run new models sometimes bring with them.Lock and MIM parts be damned the PC models are a breed apart from regular line. At least I think so. As far as going used ( I'm sure you have done your homework ) a used N frame is rarely "cheap" these days especially if it's prelock so I'd spend the extra money as history has shown nice things aren't getting cheaper. Good luck in your search.

Planes require a mix. 6. sand and fill if required. I recommend going into will pattison's back catalog of videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/barpfoto/videos) and looking around and reading on here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/scalemodelersCG/

  24. I know what ya mean. BIG difference between the two. Absolutely IMMEASURABLE difference between cheap, easy women who are expensive (use their bodies for financial gain) and a real woman who is truly priceless. My dry humor in this case is meant to make a mockery of such cheap/expensive/high maintenance women. A real woman on the other hand is a treasure, and becoming more and more of a rarity it seems.
