  8. Like has been mentioned in this thread already, if your having problems with stovepipes or malfunctions just contact century arms and they will send you the lighter spring no questions asked. These Caniks are made for 124 grain and +P not 115 grain ammo, I own the TP9SFX and I just locked the slide back for about 2 or so weeks aaaaaand got the recoil spring just in case. Had a few stove pipes early on but been wonderful since, as has been said the trigger is fantastic and the quality overall is there. I would and probably will buy another Canik no question.

  24. Sounds about right. I drove by a guy yesterday melting to his tailgate with a sign that read “sweet corn $3 a dozen.” I said to myself “Greg, you are a dumbazz for raising a garden!”

  26. There is a worm/caterpillar that bores into the stem/vine on squash, have seen that same thing happen before as well. Seems to impact the winter squash more than summer type. Short of weather induced, or physical damage (stem broken upstream), thats about all I can think of? Squash are usually pretty tough.

  28. This was my first year to plow up and prep a garden. It has went fairly well as my okra, corn, cucumbers, and watermelon all have done well. Time will tell on my asaparagus and horseradish as it needs a year to get started. My beans weren't great but I did get some. My peppers didn't do great, but I also planted late. I went over the top a usual and put a 4 strand electric fence around it or I am confident I wouldn't have had anything. By rough calculations I think I have about $50 in each ear of corn at this point.

  30. I shot mine in USPSA Open, Limited, and Carry Optics. Open class with a compensator gave me fits getting it to function. wouldn't work hardly at all with my match loads (147gr). I played and played with recoil systems before I got smart and played with ammo. The only factory fodder that would work reliably was Winchester 124gr NATO. The comp really worked with that load. If you want to play with RSA's, You can use the recoil parts for a Gen 3 Glock. You'll need the guide rod and the adaptor bushing that allows it to be used in a Gen 4. Get flat wire recoil springs in various weights to play with. The setup isn't captured so swapping springs is very easy.

  31. Mercator K55K made in Solingen Germany. As a service technician I use it daily. As thin as it is I don’t even notice it in my pocket. This is the second one I’ve had. The first one I picked up at a gun show years ago but lost it a year ago.

  39. Yes, but we've got reasons that are COVID explainable, not signs of the economy being in a bad place absent that factor. We can't just go through what we did from March 2020 -Present and not have lingering effects for a bit. Meat processing still isn't back to where it was before the pandemic started, and neither is the supply chain from slaughterhouse to supermarket. Not ideal, but this wasn't going to be fixed when the masks came off. Fuel is one that's always in flux, but OPEC cut production when COVID curbed the use of planes and cars, and they've kept that production low as travel return to try and recoup profits. At best, they're going to slow roll the production increases people are asking for. Cartel's are gonna cartel, unfortunately. Building materials are probably the one to keep an eye out for (to me, anyway), but it ties into a bigger danger. COVID has hedge funds realizing they need even more diversification in the event of bad times. So, they're buying real estate and have no issues creating a permanent renter class along the way. If those don't come down before too long, private capital is going to keep buying homes at a pace I think isn't healthy for society in general. They've taken to overpaying up front knowing they can amortize and deprecate any costs along the way as they generate cash flow from day 1 in what I hope is not a new front for the sake of the middle class. All that leads to building prices increasing along the way. I'm not saying we're in a particularly good spot, just not seeing a bad one yet if bumps smooth out over the next year.

  46. I agree that they're a little oversprung. Some owners had trouble, while others did not. Century Arms will send you a lighter RSA for free if you contact them. I had a little trouble with mine early on with match loads, but the new RSA cured that.

  47. You are not far off. My wife did some strange things when she was on it. She is not a big fan of feet. When she was on ambien she would get up at night and give me foot massages while Clipping my toenails. She would not remember a thing and swore that I was lying until I filmed her one night. She stopped taking it not long after. Ambien is a weird drug.
