  1. It was politicized, weaponized, and maybe even created as a weapon. The Chinese Communist Party had one big problem. And now, it's gone. But it has always been real and deadly. And I got the vaccine as soon as I could. I wish Phil had been smart enough to see it for what it was. Maybe he will come out of this as a much smarter guy. And for all the politicians that exploited this thing, I hope they all get scabies.

  2. We got real financial problems coming to us all soon, not just inflation. It is funny how the gullible are believing the ‘transitory’ bs. I can’t believe they even tried to sell that to the people.

  4. I think this was meant mostly in jest but in case it was not. We all understand how politicized this has been and I don't want big brother mandating anything, but I can assure you turning the TV off will have no affect on how severe your case of COVID can be. I figure Phil is the prime example.

  5. My dad got a check engine light last week. I used my $15 code reader to scan it and figure out it was related to the MAF sensor. Start looking closer under the hood and his air filter cover wasn't on. The idiots at Jiffy lube installed a new air filter and didn't even put the cover on right. So he was sucking in dirt for a week. I'm thankful I've learned how to work on both vehicles. The only thing I've paid a shop to do recently was an alignment. I would never trust a place like Jiffy Lube.

  6. LOL! I’m $300+ into this “free fix” so far, but really enjoyed the time with my son. He’s starting a career and trying to make a name for himself, so he’s working about 65 hours a week. Between that and his girlfriend, there isn’t a lot of time left for ole dad. I’m glad to help when I can.

  8. Do prices go up, or does the dollar go down? It really doesn't matter. If you see inflation coming, buy commodities. These concepts are way more simple than people understand. If you buy silver, for example, and silver doubles, did you make any real money? That depends on only one real variable. If the dollar did anything less than get cut in half, you lost money relative to that metric. Just because you got more dollars does not mean you got more money! But hedge yourself across a number of possibilities so that when/if the dollar dwindles/collapses you have way more dollars to show for it. Way more cheaper dollars is worth a lot more than way less cheaper dollars.

  12. How old is Phil? He looks young. My 64 year old dad was helping me hang drywall today and told me he's to finally decided to get the vaccine. I was thrilled.

  13. That kind of president would score really low marks in some places. The mainstream media would turn against him, and would make it their number one goal to destroy him. Hell, even a bunch of our friends would turn against him.

  14. Yes indeed. SO true. If we could just elect a POTUS that wasn’t a DC bought and paid for politician that just wanted to make America great again…….<sigh> Hey…that’s an IDEA..!!!!

  15. I'm don't subscribe to a deity, but I did spend some time in a church as a kid without it catching on fire, so I learned a little. I can't help but compare people in dire straits who haven't gotten the vaccine to that story of a man on a rooftop during a flood who had a weather report, a rowboat, and a helicopter that could have given him safety at different times, but he sent them all away because he felt God would protect him. Then after he died in the flood, he asked God what happened, only to learn God had sent the report, the rowboat, and the helicopter. I hope all of them come out okay, and I hope anyone still hesitant considers what we're seeing.

"Words were apparently exchanged, and the victim ultimately produces a handgun, apparently to defend himself and others in his group from the would-be robbery suspects. The victim fired his weapon towards the suspects and then all parties immediately fled the location," the Los Angeles Police Department recounted in a press release Tuesday. The attempted robbery unfolded Monday on Melrose Ave. when two men exited an idling Dodge Avenger, with one of the men producing a handgun. Video footage shows the men confronting a man with a shopping bag and two women who were standing on the parking lot. The male victim, who was reportedly the target of the robbery, produced his own handgun and sent the two suspects running as he opened fire. Police arrested and identified the two suspects as Nicholas Brown and Markeil Hayes, both of Los Angeles, and said they were both booked on attempted robbery and are currently on parole. PHILADELPHIA RECORDS MORE THAN 300 HOMICIDES SO FAR THIS YEAR, BREAKING DECADE RECORD Brown sustained a gunshot to the upper left thigh while Hayes was shot in the right calf. Police are still searching for the third suspect and asking the public for help tracking him down. "The Los Angeles Police Department is aggressively addressing a rise in violent crime in the Melrose area over the past year and is pursuing all leads involved in this and other crimes," police added in the press release. Police did not immediately return Fox News's request for additional comment on the crime. VENICE BEACH VIOLENCE REACHES BOILING POINT IN L.A. AS NEW VIRAL VIDEO EMERGES Homicides in Los Angeles are up 25% this year, with South Los Angeles seeing a 50% increase in killings. Violent crimes have also been increasing in cities across the nation, including in Philadelphia where gun crimes have ticked up significantly.

  21. If these electro vehicles arent annoying enough now. I was watching a vid on the new found science of the Sun's magnetic fields. Its pretty interesting to see how the sun functions with what they know at this point. It all boils down to we just finished up a magnetic short cycle and thats when the new cycle of increasing intensities come on at very high levels creating the most intense solar flares. The next few years are forcasted to be the most potentially powerful EMP producers that we have seen in decades. Just another reason to buy that model A pick up I'v been wanting ever since My High school buddy and me used to tool around in his Dad's Model A 5 window coup way back when. We could hit 50 wound right tight going down hill!

  23. I worked on a 300ZX with 2200 miles that was towed in. took more than a week to find the throttle linkage was cutting into the wires to one injector blowing the two 30 amp fuses for the FI. that was 1986 and injector harnesses are STILL crappy. Raoul has a point, covid has helped deteriorate these things by lack of use. Could be worse though. Hooked up my friends Matrix and found two trans codes. That'll cost her.

  29. LOL! We got my boy’s Toyota back together and it spit, sputtered, and then wouldn’t even crank. Couldn’t hear the fuel pump. Couldn’t find anything we left unplugged. We swapped the relay out with the one in my truck and it ran like new. Swapped them back and it still ran like new. I still can’t hear the fuel pump. I guess it took a little whole for it to prime it’s self. I still don’t know why I can’t hear the fuel pump. Got my Ford back together and it cranked and ran like new immediately. I can hear it’s fuel pump. It’s the one I got at a repo auction for $2700 and has 226k miles. I’m amazed every time I turn the key and something happens.

  34. We got both of ours back on the road. Looks like something pulled, rubbed, or chewed the wires in two going to the injector on my truck. All I an figure on his is the injector went down and maybe the plug burned out due to lack of fuel or something. Looked like factory plugs. 17 years and 150k miles was probably a good run for them. Thank goodness for code scanners and Rock Auto.

  37. I hear ya, new acquisition... gotta get at least a few personal defense loads for it. I recall clocking most of my Gold Dots and HSTs at about $1-1.25/rd for 9mm when I stocked up back before in the long ago time. Figured I was lucky to get the 1 box they were willing to sell me (43.99/20 Barnes). I reload for 9mm now, and will likely focus on acquiring dies and boolits as funds allow. If nothing else, need to get started on a big 'ol pile of brass!

  43. Domestic instability doesn't lend itself to altruism. I've spent the last 15 years maintaining a certain level of hand loaded ammo. I'm not greedy and I haven't accumulated a crazy amount of reloading supplies. But I have enough that I am not a contributer to this current hoarding frenzy. And I should be able to limp through the Crazy Joe administration without depriving any of you lessor prepared folks the ability to stalk Wal-Mart on a daily ammo run.

  44. That holster is the PHLSTER Floodlight. It's made for PHLSTER by the folks behind some of my favorite gun-specific holsters, Henry Holsters. The advantage of the Floodlight design is that it's fairly universal for a wide range of guns since the weaponlight itself is what provides the retention. I also have a holster for the PDP without any light whatsoever from Tenicor called the CERTUM3, and a holster for use with the TLR7 from Texas Holster Solutions, called the Pierce. I'll post a pic of it below. I also have a TLR7 holster coming from McKinaTec but I haven't received it yet so I don't feel comfortable recommending it sight-unseen. Texas Holster Solutions "Pierce" Let me talk about that Surefire X300UB light and PHLSTER Floodlight holster some more, though: I am using that light and holster combination for several reasons. First, the X300UA light puts out 1,000 Lumens in a beam pattern and light temperature that really throws some illumination on a target. It's 1,000 usable Lumens and that can mean the difference between a bright light that just blinds you behind the gun, or a bright light that lets you identify a target and what they're holding from quite some distance away. Daytime, night-time, indoor, outdoor. Second, the longer holster honestly conceals BETTER for me and reduces the "hot" spots (pain points) that shorter Kydex holsters can cause when worn inside the waistband. Think of that long holster as being the keel fin on a sailboat, and your belt-line being the water-line. The extra length beneath the belt-line keeps the holster from wanting to shift around or "roll" at the belt. I can wear this thing all day and barely notice it. A shorter holster eventually starts to dig into my leg and cause a "hot" spot that rapidly makes it miserable once it begins. @Smith hit on some of the reasons to go with the C&H plate already. I will add that the C&H plate is precision machined whereas the Walther plates are cast metal. I've seen more than one person post that their Walther plates didn't fit perfectly flat in the pocket on the slide until they took a honing stone to them and flattened the bottom surface of the plate. Yeah the PPQ M2 mags work with the compact but are too short for the 17rd full size. Enjoy that gun and the second one you're going to buy too.
