I'll only bring Constitutional thinking with me. You'd be surprised to see how deep red the Central Valley can be.4 points

Fear sells. You won't find many good news articles, truth be damned. I wouldn't put much weight in that story. What's about to happen is the entire economy is about to crash. That'll make ammo available again.....if you have anything left to buy it with.3 points

I thought the object of the game was to keep clover out of one's yard. That is the solution I'm looking for.3 points

I don't think it's wise to get yer panties in a wad just yet. At this point it's all just a guess. And if you're the kind of shooter who runs to wallyworld the night before you go shooting I have just one word for you. Archery2 points

Seed the bare spots with crimson clover. Sea of red and white would be cool.2 points

Welcome. Becoming a Tennessean entails A bit more than a move. Settle in and you'll figure it out. And please don't enlighten us on how things were done elsewhere.2 points

I see a lot of small guns that people have but they tend to have problems. It's true that the smaller you go the more trouble that you have with semi-autos. I have heard , read , and studied about these and along some years found the right gun for the caliber that runs reliably for it's small size. The Ruger LCP in 380. It's small and fits in the front pocket of many shorts and pants. I have carried mine for the last 2 years and every 6 months I will fire it with all the lint it collected and dust. It runs great. The Glock 43 in 9mm. I have had 2 and they both ran like a well oiled sewing machine. Sold one but then realized that I made a mistake. It's so good I got another one. Simple 9mm and with very few parts. The Springfield Armory XDS 45. I got this one used and ran it dirty , and clean . It runs and runs . To me it's the smallest 45ACP you can get that is reliable. It has a grip-safety that I don't like but it is very easy to engage even with a loose grip. The S&W M&P Shield in .40S&W . What better to run a .40S&W caliber than in it's own creator's gun. It runs and works great. The Shield , G43 , and XDS45 are all the same size in thickness , length and width plus or minus a few thousands of an inch. These guns run great and have had scratches and scuffs , had dust and saw dust in them while I was cutting wood , mowing grass , and whatever else. None has failed nor rusted. In case you want a small pocket gun that will last , try these 4 . I thought this may help some people with their decisions. have a good day !1 point

There is absolutely no reason one should get too twisted over it as there is not a single thing whatsoever they can do about it.1 point

I don't know about the economy, but the article simply states that their production is sold out for the next two years. However, that means that ammo stores, online retailers, distributors, etc. have placed orders for two years worth of production, not that ammo won't be available for two years. Those stores, distributors, retailers or whatever will sell this ammo to someone, somewhere, at some price. My take on it is that it will be at least two years before there's any chance of a supply glut such as that seen the last few years, when prices dropped precipitously and ammo was available most anywhere. That is of course assuming that demand remains constant, which is and of itself not certain, there are many factors which affect demand, price being only one of those. My best guess is that by fall, we'll see more ammo begin to appear in stock and prices will gradually fall back to what most consider "normal", whatever that means. It's interesting to note that Hornady mentioned using only "hundreds of pounds" of copper (per month?). Given the daily production of most ammo manufacturers, I would have assumed that their copper requirements were much larger than that. In the bigger scheme of things, "hundreds of pounds" of copper isn't all that much. It's also notable that economists have long consider copper prices one of the best leading economic indicators, when prices are rising the economy generally grows over the next six months to a year. In that sense, rising copper prices would seem to show that the economy will continue to improve over the rest of this year ...1 point

since you brought it up. Kel Tec .32 ACP has been with me for over 20 years. I also have a Browning Baby if I need something REALLY small. Both are reliable with the Browning being 100% And the Kel Tec failing once. I did slip my 8 round 4 inch .357 in the pocket of my shorts Sunday not intending to get out of the car. Wound up having to traipse through walmart. we had no issues. carry and concealed comfort are relative to clothing and determination.1 point

It's a great pocket gun in the summer when its hot and you have shorts on . And a great fishing gun.1 point

I don't have any of the others, but I've carried an LCP for more than a decade now. I shoot it often, and it's never given any problem. I consider the LCP as close to a perfect pocket pistol as is available.1 point

Propane is quick but, I never liked the flavor. Theres nothing like good charcoal for grilling. Nothing against pellets. I just don't have any experience with pellet grills.1 point

Listening to the most recent episode of the Cocaine & Rhinestones podcast. It’s on the Nashville A Team and it made me wish I could pick Steelharp’s brain about what he thought about it. Miss you, man.1 point

Last two houses spanning nearly 40 years we have had acres of woods around us so lots of interesting things grow and dig in our yard. Discovered if you have grubs skunks dig holes to get a midnight snack and they make a noise that almost sounds like they are singing. Took awhile to figure out what the strange noise was in the middle of the night.1 point
