I’ve been purchasing guns for a long time, and I’ve never had to send one back for warranty work until recently. I wanted to install a Surefire flash hider on my Springfield Armory 300BO pistol. When my gunsmith removed the original flash hider we found the threads were galled and the crush washer looked like it had been welded to the barrel. My second issue was with my Sig P365XL optics ready NRA edition. The screws that hold the optic cover in place were stripped and almost installed sideways. I contacted Springfield and they sent out a return label while we were on the phone, and I had my pistol back in about ten days. Same for the Sig. They sent a return label while we were on the phone, and I got my slide back in four days. Great customer service from both companies. I had heard so many horror stories about service returns and wait times that I never wanted to send a gun in for warranty work. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I just wanted to share some good news.5 points

2 MILLION bail, because he is such a flight risk says the judge. The prosecutor wanted between 4 and 10 million, even though the few terrorists they arrested during the "peaceful protests" were released on their own recognizance. Hope he has security 24/7, he will be targeted by every ANTIFA and BLM who wants to make a name for themselves and get street cred from all the other scum of the earth members. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/Police-Shooting-Wisconsin-Kenosha/2020/11/20/id/998082/ MODS: I think this belongs here as it has massive significance for ALL our rights to self-defense. But if you think otherwise, just move it.2 points

Those are impressive numbers. Where do I go to find the numbers related to COPD, CHF, MI, etc for the period starting March 3/21. Would love to have a comparison for the numbers of those related deaths to the averages of related deaths for the last 3 years before Covid. Now that would be some worthwhile information.2 points

Yeah, with the changes we are seeing now, I doubt it will be long before you can’t sell anything firearm related on any of those sites; including paper targets.2 points

They work fine in standard rifle loads, I know reloaders that have always used LRM primers exclusively in their loads with great success. Never had any problems.2 points

I know small pistol and small rifle primers have been going for crazy prices. Just saw on gunbroker 1,000 CCI 200 sold for $255 +20 for shipping. That is $0.275 per primer. Evidently this fellow needed to load some ammo pretty bad. I don't understand these people. You mean you don't have a friend who could loan or sell at a reasonable price a few hundred primers. I saw this same type thing when Hussein was in office. It is like Groundhog day with Bill Murray again, and again and again.1 point

Approximately 7 weeks ago I sent the slide from my 4.25" duty-size M&P M2.0 9mm to Doug Presson at DP Custom Works to have their GAB 4.0 package and a fresh jet-black nitride finish applied to it. Today, it came back and I quickly reassembled it with a Trijicon RM07 red dot, 10-8 Performance sights (M&P front, Glock rear) and an Apex Tactical Specialties striker safety plunger. I am ambivalent about the Apex trigger on the M2.0 series so I have skipped that for now. They look good for social media but I built this to be a fighting gun. Some time ago I smoothed out the area beneath the trigger guard for my middle finger to stop giving myself callouses from how tightly I grip the gun, and I added some very simple, functional "indexing points" on for my support hand thumb. I wasn't trying to win any beauty pageants with that stuff, so if you think it looks like crap... good. I expect this cheap ole M&P to perform just as well as any of the guns that I have that were 3x as expensive as it. Talk about making a guy question his purchasing decisions.1 point

I have purchased a box of CCI Subsonic 22 LR Segmented ammo. I have a squirrel problem and decided to try some. Gray squirrels have cost me over $2,000. in the past 2 years. Chewed holes in my RV grey water tank and eat the gas line off my truck I pull the RV with. I am thankful they have not got to the wiring yet. They were trying to get into my attic, in the house, and coming in the garage when the door was open. My neighbors are experiencing the problem as well. Talked to TWRA and they said if they were a menus, then I could dispatch them, but not eat them. Could only keep the during hunting season. I am using a Model 60 Marlin semi auto and was concerned the ammo may not cycle through it. Well I have used 20 rounds and had 2 fte. I can live with that. I also like the segmented bullet design as it supposed to split into 3 segments, and cut down on possibility of collateral damage. I am very careful and only shoot in safe directions, mostly on the ground. I shot a squirrel last week and heard the slower traveling bullet hit the animal with a loud thud. I never heard that sound with full power 22 LR ammo. The ammo is about 1/3 quieter than regular ammo. I do use hearing protection but my wife said the ammo is a lot quieter that the other ammo. So far I am well pleased with the use of the ammo. I am sure my neighbors like the quieter ammo as well.1 point

I just got done changing out the Grip Module on my Staccato P 4.14 I purchased a SHOOTERS EXTREME Grip Module in their Dragon Scale in Bronze finish with their Grip Reduction. Wasn't to hard the most problem I had was getting the Grip Module's bushings that hold it to the frame, my fat fingers had a bit of trouble getting them lined up with the inside of the frame, they are flat on one side and they need to be oriented to the top of the frame so they can go in place. Here's a pic of the finished project. 1st. Is were I tore it all down, 2nd. Is the finished project.1 point

I agree. I don't know what the actual difference in a magnum vs a regular primer is, but according to my magnetospeed, not much to nothing at all.1 point

There's nothing there except "under certain circumstances". To get something passed those "circumstances" are going to have to be pretty clear. Killing trespassers isn't going to pass.1 point

He already is touting the distribution plan as if his dumb azz came up with it. But hey, if he quits calling it a “Trump Vaccine” and understands people don’t need to risk death so he can get votes; all is well. Or at least as good as it can be under the circumstances.1 point

Yes, in medical science it's call a "vector." Most diseases are transmitted by contaminating a surface with the virus, someone else touching that surface, and then they either rub their eyes or pick their nose which causes the virus to penetrate the mucosa to enter the body. I place more of an emphasis on sanitizing my hands as I leave a public building or entering my car over a mask. I DO wear a mask out of respect for the businesses that require it. Early reports of virus spread directly through the air were questionable because they did NOT know the incubation period of the virus. In other words, you may think that you are quarantined on a ship, but that doesn't mean that you didn't already have it, and it's just been cooking away in your DNA until ready to break-out. To put it bluntly, this virus caught the medical profession off guard, and they were scrambling to crap answers for the public. Unfortunately, it became politicized in the process to induce panic. I speculate that after pervert Joe takes office it'll suddenly not be such a big deal, and he'll push the vaccine as if were his accomplishment.1 point

I'm not a fan of masks. But to prevent aerosols from your mouth getting into the air they can do a half ass job. The problem is that people will wear a mask and touch it and then touch a door knob or anything else and then touch their eye and it just gets to the point that their isn't a point to it. Youre never gonna get people to do what they have to to really help with the problem so it seems to me, in my total not-to-be-taken-serious, opinion that your best course of action is that if youre at risk of getting sick stay home. If you're sick stay home. Just gotta play this with some common sense.1 point

I bought 1000 Winchester large rifle primers yesterday for $31 or $32, I forget which. And yes I plan to use them, not sell them.1 point

You know I'm done convincing folks reloading is a good thing. Don't do it. It's bad for your health and dangerous. You might blow something up. Now to order supplies.....1 point
