I’ll take “What’s one more reason to hate 2020.”

The fact that a large percentage of third party voters view R and D as equal fails to register on some folks. If I don't vote for whatever third party candidate I like, I don't vote for either. Because my views don't align with ANYTHING that the R or D actually do, not what they say, but what they actually DO.

That's fine, keep voting third party, and get nothing you want advanced by your chosen representative who is sitting at home instead of DC. My candidate may or may not win, and he may or may not advance anything I would like to see happen, but at least I have a chance, even if it a snowball's chance in hell, but it's a chance.

I can recommend Blindspot by WNYC. It details the intelligence and lead up to 9/11. We missed/failed to take action on so much. You also get the sense that it could have been much worse. As someone who was active in that space at the time - and was in 1WTC that morning, I can say that it's an accurate account that most people would really learn a lot from.

Yeah it looks like they have fired everyone in NY, laid everyone everywhere else off, and are removing equipment from Huntsville. Probably be like Winchester, move everything out of the country, and then market it under the Remington name. If I’m not mistaken the import of firearms can be stopped by executive order.

He put up a great fight and kept such a positive attitude that he really became an inspiration for many people. He just seemed like such a wonderful person. Pancreatic cancer is horrible, one of the worst from what I've read. I'll be making a toast to him this evening.

There were many days when I was in school where Alex Trebek was responsible for me learning more in 30 minutes than I did in the 8 hours previous.

Back when I was looking for a belt feed, I thought the RPD was my best option with the mint Polish kits running under $300 at Sarco and DSA semi receivers for $350. Pretty much a no brainer there. Only thing I hated was the way these were being built with a sliding hammer made up FCG. That brain fart system is about as far from mil spec as you can imagine, so I figured out how to fab in a HK G3 lower with a HK91 FCG that slips into the G3 frame and is removable. With a heavy finned SS barrel and M2 bipod it weighs in at about 20 lbs but shoots nice. A couple guys wanted to do conversions like this so I spec'ed out all the work and put it here. I’ll post up later what he weighed, Flowers Processing was so packed they said he’d text me today with the weight. I was going to do a European mount and my wife said no, she wants me to get full shoulder mount done because he’s so different. It’ll be a nice mount when it’s done.
