"Joe Biden also knows how to make progress on reducing gun violence using executive action. After the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012, President Obama tasked Vice President Biden with developing both legislative proposals and executive actions to make our communities safer. As a result of this effort, the Obama-Biden Administration took more than two dozen actions, including narrowing the so-called “gun show loophole,” increasing the number of records in the background check system, and expanding funding for mental health services." Nothing Biden/Obama did during that period was as infringing as what Trump did with one executive action. Honestly the gunshow loophole was something I was definitely for as anyone who has visited gun shows knows how bad they were for that. Trump only cares about Trump (like most politicians) and to think he is going to do anything for us is silly. Hell our Diety Reagan was even worse but no one wants to remember he's the reason we can no longer obtain fully automatic weapons without spending $$$3 points

That's a good point, I've been tempted to try and sell mine just because of some of the stupid prices I've seen out there.... But the Scorpions are still bargains based on some of the others mentioned above.2 points

My kingdom for a dark theme. Guessing the bottom menu Chuck mentions is only for mobile browsers? I can't see it as I'm typing this on a PC. Seems to be running pretty smooth. Thanks for all the time you put into this, David.2 points

The same trump that took away bumpstocks and didnt even bother to reimburse us for them...yeah lemme hold my breath on that one...why anyone still thinks hes pro-gun is beyond me.2 points

The new mobile skin is very different, but I really dig the new menu at the bottom. It makes navigation a lot faster.2 points

Commercial .223 vs surplus 5.56 ammo in the same weight. Any POI or POA changes vs the two.1 point

Ok, I agree with you, but it is already illegal for them to possess guns. The only people that new laws affect, are those already following the law, simple as that. What we need is stiffer penalties for those that break existing laws, not more laws that criminals will ignore.1 point

Where da heck did the edit button go? I'm a big fan of the edit button. Nevermind. I found it. In case there's anyone else on here dumb as I am, it's in the three dots in the upper right corner.1 point

Yes, I would recommend it for new shooters and people getting back into shooting. Even people that have been shooting for a long time could benefit from it. Advanced shooters might find a problem they don't even know they have, My son said the Mantis-X is an advanced version of the thing they did in the military putting coins on the slide to practice being smooth on the trigger.1 point

Speaking of PCC I haven't seen anybody else on TGO say they have bought one but I bought one of the PSA AK-V's last June. Much longer 10" barrel and of course it has the SB3 brace. I still have not tried it out yet but at the time I thought it would be a fun little gun to shoot on the cheap as at the time you could get brass 9mm for $170.00 per 1000.1 point

Great company. Amazingly priced products for what they do as well.1 point

Heads Up... I will be updating our software once again this evening. A few fixes have been released that I want to be sure are in place for us.1 point

I have one and find it very useful for improving fundamentals. Videoing the target won't do anything but videoing yourself is always useful, especially for draws etc.1 point

Good morning. Good idea on the YouTube thing. I am going to give it a try. I ordered a tru-oil kit. I have a stock that someone did a really nice repair to a crack. I think I will try it first. I would also like to shorten it by 1/2“ to 3/4”? Oh boy. Here we go.1 point

While not a bargain, SGAmmo has 9mm in stock as I type this. It's running $0.50-$0.60 per round. <ouch> But it's available.1 point

I have an original Mantis-X that I've used primarily for dry-fire practice. It has helped making me aware of what I'm doing wrong. I was recently using it for more dry-fire practice since I'm shooting less at the range because of ammo costs, but ended up loaning it to my daughter-in-law who is a new shooter.1 point

I was doing pretty good about reporting the Knoxville stats, but after a while, it just became numbing. I do what I need to do and no longer worry about it. Just not the way to live life.1 point

Therein is the problem. It seems to me that the "data" is being put out in so many different formats it's meaningless. Surely you know the old saying.... " There are lies, damn lies, and statistics "1 point

Flight hours are flight hours. If they take a 10 minute break from practicing refueling and doing touch-and-go's to fly over a stadium, so what? They're also practicing mission planning, coordinating with ATC and ground communications, and a whole host of other operational activities.1 point

Attended the Lebanon RK show today.......was a really good show (nothing like the old Lebanon shows). Excellent crowd but not over-crowded. Was really nice to see lots of the opposite sex of all ages as well as a great number of younger folks. Definitely not your typical old geezer (like me) show! Plus many new vendors. Excellent inventory of firearms with fairly reasonable prices considering the current environment. Plenty of ammo available at twice last year”s price, but still less than CTD. A nice enjoyable 4 hours.1 point

That's what I asked myself immediately after buying a Steyr SPP about 20 years ago. Instead, I had a heavier, larger 9mm with a worse trigger and sights :( I didn't keep the SPP very long and I don't regret that sale at all.1 point

So I've been reading in some places that SB Tactical is making this brace for Q. It is made by SB but is a Q product. Q never got an approval letter from the ATF for it but instead was just thinking that SB Tactical's existing approvals would suffice. SB never submitted this brace because it isn't one of their products. So because there was never any approval for the brace itself, there was never any approval for the "pistol" as a whole.1 point

There is no doubt in my mind that this is a direct attempt at getting rid of braces.1 point

I see your point, but look at it this way; he at least was trying to do good. Many, as you can see all over the US, are out there burning and looting instead of protecting their neighborhoods. And while the law, local or and federal should be out there stopping this, many are hamstrung by the very same government entrusted to protect it's people. Somewhere, someone, has to draw the line, and as in many times in the past, it is left to the young to be the feet on the ground.1 point

"I hate Trump for banning bump stocks" "We need laws banning people from selling guns" You're so confusing. How about not infringing on people's rights regardless of who is doing it.0 points

Yep, if you get in the middle of a dog fight, you will get bit. Friend at work had his beagle get into it with a shepherd at a dog park. He got the dogs separated but got chomped on his lower leg by the shepherd. Its owner bugged out in the following confusion so he had to get rabies shots since they couldn't verify the dog had been vaccinated. $8000.0 points
