  4. Lots'a tacticool stuff for $1700-$2400. My Model 70 made in 1948 will shoot .75 MOA all day & my Tikka T-3's shoot better than that. Not as tacticool though.

  5. I use this website a lot for RV camping. It’s for the National Park campgrounds. You can check availability, make reservations and all right from this site. It will show you campgrounds front he closest to you to as far as you want to go in the USA. Very nice pricing too. Rarely will you see full hookups, but almost always water and electric. Most have dump stations though. Recreation.gov

  6. Took the pawpaws about a week ago when they were still a little firm and finally got around to using them! They were a hit all around. Used this recipe: https://www.realtree.com/timber-2-table-wild-game-recipes/wild-pawpaw-pancakes Anyone need pawpaw seeds shoot me a pm with a mailing addy, and you can tell people you have a story about those mystery seeds from china, too.

  7. New bolt from SA. They say its made here. I’m not a fan of carbon fiber stocks, but this looks like a contender to the throne vacated by Remington. Although, at $1700-$2400 MSRP I assume they are targeting a different market. https://www.springfield-armory.com/model-2020-series-rifles/model-2020-waypoint-rifles/

  14. Lotsa nice stuff in EastTN (checkout S. Va, too). Have been to and would recommend Davy Crockett and Great South Fork parks. Lots of fishing around Morristown area if thats your thing.

  15. I thought you were just supposed to hoard the ammo, not shoot it? Really, I get to shoot WAY less than I would like, even before COVID. Just too many obligations that have finite time frames. Used to be better when I worked somewhere I could run and shoot at lunch on the back of the property. Too bad that job sucked so much I left.

  16. IF, you have a Manufacturer SOT license, you can make them for yourself, for other dealers, or agencies. Renting a MG as part of a range is a legitimate business. Almost all rental MGs are post-86 samples.

  17. If it makes you feel better, before this year I allowed life to get in the way too much. I only shot around 1k rounds a year or so. Of course I’m also only home about 30-45 days a year as well. It’s not easy to get to the range.

  18. Prior to this year: Pistol & SMG - 10-12,000 per year Rifle & MG - 3-5000 per year .22 - 10,000 per year.

  21. Every member made them AIC but Layne especially early on just had IT. And some of his live stuff in Seattle where the Bleed The Freak video was made his vocals were jaw dropping. Love Hate Love has me shaking my head each time I watch it. It Ain't Like That is also a good one at that venue. Then later with Mad Season....he was just one of a kind

  25. Never kept count but I usually visit the range 2x/week the majority of the time, with 10-50 rounds doing load development or just to go to get out of the house. I shoot ABRA and some PS 150 so that is 2-300 rds/month of RF.

  26. Well, I'm from Memphis..so anytime we can escape here is worth of being called a vacation, lol. Been so drained from doing the daily covid grind of working, watching kids while working, and being unable to do much. Wife and a couple friends of ours took Friday off and loaded up the Kayaks and drove out to an Air BNB around Kingsdon Springs. It was so refreshing! Thats a beautiful little area even though it takes 20 minutes to get on I-40 when as the crow flies its only a mile away haha. Drove by Royal Range...what a spectacle that place is! Friday night we ate at Tupelo Honey...fantastic meal. Saturday we floated the Harpeth River. Water was up, so there were a few rapids and the river was fast flowing and clear. Saturday night we ate at Husk. What a foodgasm that place is! I've eaten at the Husk in Charleston and was so happy it came to Nashville! Really refreshing 3 day vacation without kids...thank you parents for watching these wild creations! Now back to the grind tomorrow!

  27. I never really kept up with it. best guess, around 7,000 per year. However, last year I had some health issues and of course, this year has been a mess. So I'm way behind.

  28. I shot a little more than 7,700 rounds in 2019. This year I'm just slightly over 2,000 due to an illness (not CV) that restricted my shooting for several months.

  42. those 3 words about sum up the highs and lows. Thru a good of 2017 after semi- retirement to sell a house and prep a move out here, I was at 4,000 rounds per month. After moving here in 2018, with my wife gone to take care of the furry kid, about 2,000 found per month. She went back to work, and by 2019 it was maybe 2,000 rounds per year, mostly in GA when dealt with estate issues. Later in 2019, like a tool, I sold off about 20,000 - 25,000 rounds of what I thought to be excess ammo in case we had to move with buying a house here. If I had only waited a year..... In 2020. I've only been shooting 3 times. The last 2 of those this month. One to sight in a new AK, only 60 rounds. Then last week to teach my 58 year old brother how to shoot (first time!). Only 26 rounds for me they day. Around 500 total rounds this year. Life definitely happens
