I see this just like a hcp. Theres been several occasions during a traffic stop they ask if I'm carrying and when i say yes they ask where it is and we continue from there. So hypothetically let's say Beto comes to my door in 6 months asking me to turn over all my firearms. I say I lost them all in a boating accident. He then whips out a stack of paperwork showing i have "registered" 12 firearms in my name in the last year. From that point the situation is bound to run downhill but the point is why would he show up to my door but skip my liberal pu$$y neighbor? Could it be he has "evidence" i once owned some nefarious weaponry courtesy of those background checks ? And even those bgc aren't grounds for a search and seizure i bet my azz they'll spin it that way on the news....from the hostage situation....later that day....lol3 points

There's no doubt in my mind it, is/could be, used as a registration. Not only are the 4473's in play here but also the fine folks who do the NICS checks. Your personal information and the information pertaining to the weapon being purchased is being entered into a data base somewhere.3 points

Thing is, unless they've changed their policy, RR doesn't allow you to shoot reloads on their range. Good thing I have empty factory boxes.3 points

I saw this yesterday myself. Woman behind the checkout counter was defending the price to a customer who commented that it seemed mighty high. As a defender of the free enterprise system and the open marketplace, I don't hate gougers for taking advantage of the law of supply and demand when it's in their favor. Neither do I have sympathy for them when the tide turns and customers remember their friends.... Cheers, Whisper3 points

Still working on getting the rest of the weldment pieces in for the receiver but hopefully I can have this up and running by the end of the year.2 points

You know... unless you have firsthand knowledge of what RR is paying for their ammo, any claim that they are gouging rather than passing along their own increases is completely an opinion. I warned previously that the cost of ammo to suppliers was going to be increasing as what remained from previous years production dried up.2 points

Went into a LGS in Huntsville today. They had 9mm and 45ACP Blazer Brass for $25/box with a 4 box limit. They also had enough 223 to start a war - if you wanted to buy by the barrel.2 points

correction/clarification ;-D I would be perfectly happy buying this gun at $1,995.00 for investment purposes as I think it is definitely an appreciating value and will be looked upon as a deal 3-10 years from now at its current market rate. However me personally I hate guns as an investment as I am into trading stocks and I much prefer moving $100's to tens of thousands in 2 clicks of a mouse as opposed to dealing with tire kickers and background checks and the atf and our wishy washy government anytime I want to turn the asset back into cash.2 points

That story leads me to think maybe that damage is from the girl kicking him in the face. If so, good for her.1 point

For the second year in a row I’ve been fortunate enough to participate in the Shooting Hunger sporting clays charity shoot at Nashville Gun Club representing the Tennessee Dept of Agriculture. This year our team came in 2nd. Pretty cool for a bunch of hacks. It’s so much fun and a great time every year and the best part is the money goes to feed hungry people in Tennessee. If anyone is looking for a fun shoot check out their website for next years events. they have Middle and West Tn events with an East Tn hopefully coming next year in the fall. https://shootinghunger.com/1 point

What difference does it make what color or gender you are? I'm surprised it doesn't ask your profession and income.1 point

Reminds me I need to buy a wet suit and start doing some diving around the various docks around the bay. Would you guys please start boating with more ammo to go with the guns, I'm running low on 9mm.0 points

I sold all the guns I had left to save them from the same fate as the ones I lost with the boat. I do have some nice pieces of pipe and walnut just in case I feel like doing a project. I blued the pipe so it won't rust...0 points
