So I ordered a blade and scales from knifekits.com. The handles are amber dyed, jigged camel bone. Of course the blade is damascus. My hat's off to you knife makers. This is rather trying on one's patience.2 points

Since were posting belt-feds, first time out it was a F-in jamomatic, second time I did a little better, that's a 170rd burst, nothing like warm pile of brass in the morning2 points

Well technically it's a 2011 since it's a double stack. That makes a rail more acceptable, right?2 points

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we all have a few that came home under those circumstances. I can tell you I do for sure. Last time I uttered those words, I was saying I wasn't going to buy another Taurus until I sold a few more of my older finds. But I saw this pretty little 6" ported 38/357 revolver that just cried out to me. I'm a sucker for revolvers.2 points

Man, 4 years next month. I think of him regularly. When I do, I say a prayer for those of y’all who are still here. And I say a prayer that one day our country will have as much zeal for taking care of our vets as they do for creating new ones.2 points

To be honest, I cracked one of the scales while flaring the pins. It epoxied back together pretty well, and I think it'll stay, but I'd never sell something like that. It'll still gut deer, however.1 point

Here's another good version of Guitar Boogie. The Quin Tikis were talented musicians. They'd blow people away on today's talent shows. Watch closely at what they are doing. That takes some serious skill and coordination to pull it off.1 point

I can't see a date, but: In 1950 it would be $64.72 In 1955 it would be $64.65 In 1960 it would be $45.94.1 point

shame that wasn’t the attitude in 2001 or whenever the patriot act was passed.1 point

I'm no Apple fan, but I followed the story and kind of support their decision. The feds wanted a backdoor to the software that runs their phones, and Apple did not want to provide one. You can't sell a product with an intentional security flaw. I am sure they already had a means to get into the phone, but the feds didn't want to reveal that fact. Was that before or after Snowden?1 point

Sent my CZ75B Compact barrel about 10 days ago to get it refinished in CP II. Got it back today and it is very nicely done. $70 total for shipping both ways, insurance both ways ($200) and work done. I would use them again for firearms refinishing work. If any questions contact Brad Cummings at CCR in Greeneville, TN. Sorry folks I don't do pictures.1 point

I do want to clarify; The person in question actually wasn't advertising something without being a Benefactor, but it absolutely looked like it at surface level. When that happens, without being privy to all of the details, a moderator has to make an on-the-field judgment call. Most of the time they're right. Sometimes, in rare occasions, we find out that the post was benign. When that happens, it's usually very easily cleared up via a private message between parties. The way to clear it up isn't to launch an assault on the moderator or send me an ultimatum. I'm pretty intolerant of people who try to add stress to my life.1 point

Just picked these two beauty's up today and got them for a great deal. Payed $40 for both, the Buck didn't have a sheath and the Schrade dont have the right one. But for the years both knives is in great shape.1 point

I know a good bit about straight razors. Golden Rule Cutlery-Chicago I would guess a US branded German Razor. A popular thing to do during the straight razor hay day. You can even find them with hardware store names on them..lol F.W.Engels-Solingen-Seems to be the nicest of the three. Looks to be in good shape nothing super fancy but nothing bad either Wade & Butcher-Sheffield-Has engraving on the blade. Nice old Sheffield blade. I would guess it to be around 1860's-1880's.. somewhere around in there. Looks like horn scales as well. Really nice razor. the most valuable of the group. A nice little set1 point

Now they're telling parents what they can or can't do in their own homes A Tennessee school district is under fire for asking parents to sign a form agreeing not to eavesdrop on kids' virtual classes over concerns they could overhear confidential information. After significant pushback, Rutherford County Schools is allowing parents to tune in with permission from the teacher but they can't record the classes. https://www.foxnews.com/us/tennessee-parents-waiver-eavesdropping-online-lessons0 points
