  1. How so? I run around with a goddamn mask in my car and on my face if ever have to go somewhere where other people are. Finally found a pittance of hand sanitizer the other day that I can use after going about amongst the unwashed. My paranoia level was at about 2 out of 10 before this started. Now I’m one of the sheep. To hell with all this. What happens when the next virus comes around? Somewhere between reason and reality we have all been manipulated....and not for some noble purpose of saving lives.

  2. Try a little grease on the slide rails. It’s amazing what proper lubrication can do.

  3. I own several PP series pistols including a S&W although mine is in .32acp. I've never had a problem with any of them. Best guess from the description given, the extractor may be sticking, dirty or gummed up. Also check its recess in the breech end of the barrel. I have seen this in other guns. It's just enough to keep the slide from going completely into battery. A new recoil spring may fix it, but I'd still check the extractor just to be sure.

  5. I am in and out of restaurants and food stores all day, some are wearing mask and some are not. I have a mask as well, but do not wear it unless asked. I do carry alcohol and Clorox wipes to clean up with after I leave. I wash my hands going in and in between and going out.

  6. Heh... Mrs peej knew who they were before I started the video. I'd love to learn to play the pipes. I think that would annoy the neighbors even more than my guitar. This lock-in has produced some cool stuff. I bet next year will be a fantastic year for music

  7. The best " no cost " solution by far...! This little pistola, bein stainless, has a bit of a tendency ta be " sticky " anyway... Clean it all the way up n lube as Mr Garufa recommended..

  8. Went to Kroger as well today. The only ground beef was their high dollar vacuum packed organic stuff. It’s good, but only 90/10. I want leaner when making chili.

  15. 16,000 miles clocked and hoping I can drive this thing as long as practical. I like it that much. My service contract paid out again, this time for cracked / worn strut arm bushings, idle, tensioner, pulleys. Having a B Service done at Bearden Benz, service advisor points out, "worn, not dangerous, need to be thinking about replacing within next 10k." Saved a few bucks by replacing the plugs and air filters myself. Pull out my CNA Service Contract; level of coverage I selected was close to new car, and stuff like this is covered under factory for pre-mature wear. Pretty cool. YMMV I wish it wasn't black, it's a chore to keep clean and sparkly Ran out of Liquid Glass, started using Chemical Guys Hydro Slick; does a nice job and has eliminated / reduced a remarkable number of swirls and scratches. Ponies up for some WeatherTech floor liners, I am a fan. Quality and fit are top notch. Keeping the tires rotated at 7-8k for max life and best ride possible. Other than that, I'm pulling 22ish mpg on my commute to the office, up to 24.3 on the highway @ 70 and 19-20 grocery getting.

  17. Maybe because the previous person was celebrating people not social distancing or using masks. I found that to be very odd. I'm happy things are opening back up but I still don't want people all up in my space, pandemic or not.

  25. They're free to ask you anything, but you're under no obligation to show ID to anybody except the police if they ask to see your permit, or your drivers license while operating a motor vehicle. They obviously can ask you to leave if you refuse. Frankly I'm not going to show my ID to a store clerk for any reason, unless it's a gun store and I'm buying a firearm I'd be happy to confirm I have a permit and that it's on me, but no way I'm going to give out my personal information like that to a random stranger. If they push back, I'd ask to speak the the manager and express the liability they excepting by requesting to see my personal information in relation to firearm ownership, ie identify theft, targeted theft of firearms, etc.
