  1. Hate to be “that guy” if this doesn’t apply to you, I’m sure it will to someone else...are you out of debt? Do you have 3-6 months worth of expensives saved up in an emergency fund? For most of us, these things should take priority over a new firearm purchase. If you are in good shape then awesome! Buy night vision!

  2. I'm on day 6 of employment and finally got my computer working. Also, I'm happy to report we put our house on the market Friday and had a full price offer accepted within 24 hours. We then disinfected anything people may have touched. I'm honestly shocked people are still buying houses but I guess the rates are too good for some to pass up..

  3. Including being in the business at just the right time and getting out early enough to walk away a success.

  4. I agree the smart thing would have been to cancel but I also and way more concerned about the possible prosecuting. We are starting to slide on a very slippery slope. As stated earlier the "Essential" business listing is a relative joke. We either need to shut down everything or just deal with the consequences. After reading 3 or 4 essential business list from states, counties, etc I just shook my head.

  5. https://www.tmz.com/2020/03/30/river-church-pastor-rodney-howard-browne-arrrest-warrant-coronavirus-social-distancing/ I think this fits in well in the cure vs the disease question. The smart thing absolutely would have been to cancel services. I also suspect that hubris and self aggrandizement were strong motives in holding the services. At the same time, prosecuting someone for holding religious services makes me very, very uncomfortable. That’s dangerous territory to be treading into.

  7. I sell Ethernet switches and Software-Defined WAN devices. Neither would really help with VPN bandwidth into the businesses from increased number of WFH employees. The latter could with load-balancing multiple MPLS and broadband connections to their VPN concentrators, but understandably, now is not the time for business to do something radical to their infrastructure unless they were absolutely incapable of sustaining it now. And I couldn't stomach Pelosi and Schumer's BS either.

  8. It's the part at the end that should be the most shocking to folks. Just how much they touch their face and how its almost involuntary. It's why wearing gloves through the store doesn't help. Sure your hand was protected from the germs on the shopping cart but then you touched the glove to your face without even realizing it.

  9. My Cub Scouts are working on the same requirement. Well, we were a few weeks ago... Brim and bluegill are easy to catch and fight just enough to be fun for kids. My best advice is KISS.... live worms, small hooks, a bobber, and go find a local fishing pier or just stand on the bank where the water isn't moving fast and there isn't much debris to get hung up on. Go when it's warm and the fish will be more active near the surface. We've caught bunches of them standing on the bank near any of the multitude of boat ramps. If you've got more than one kid, don't plan to do much fishing yourself. You'll be busy helping them the whole time. Edit... this is a great way to teach kids patience in a world of instant gratification. If you're not having luck, change your depth, move 100 yds down the bank... or just wait longer. You can spend an hour with without a nibble, and then all of a sudden you can't bait the hooks fast enough. That's just how it is.

  11. I think I'm still in shock we just printed $2 trillion dollars, most of which is going to save corporations. Somehow, the rich will get richer in all this and we will get our $1,200... There is apparently no spending limit our government will not cross. The only rep that spoke out against it was Massie and he got raped by Trump and the press. Amazing times.

  13. There is no BLM land like out west. There is public land and ranges along with WMA land available to hunt on near Nashville. Go to Twra.com and you can pull up all the of the information.

  14. Hey Tom, take about 3 or so inches of the turkey quill, either tail or wing feathers, trim any fuzzy feather off. Take 2 pieces of either surgical tubing smaller diameter that the quill. Thread fishing line thru the tubing and roll over the quill and slide it to desired depth. You can also use the small rubber bands that orthandontist's use. Doug aka Bersaguy is ok.

  19. Mine got into Tupperware. I have been courted for many a "business" which I have turned down when I realized that the business model was nothing more than a pyramid scheme. Any deal which has you making money off the people you bring in is destined to lose you money in the end.

  22. There is essentially no BLM land east of the Rockies. As mentioned check the TWRA website. While there is land in TN under the control of the NPS, shooting is a no go. Your only options are public/private ranges or knowing somebody with land.

  26. I had to go into work earlier today and you would hardly know anything was different. People were out and about everywhere. I'm not advocating for anything in particular but the list of "essential" businesses is too long to have any meaningful impact. Even liquor stores are open.

  30. I assumed they did it they way they did because it was fast. Trying to determine eligibility would be difficult and full of fraud. If you made over $99K or $198K jointly the democrats and the socialists (same thing anymore) see you as part of the problem and don’t want to help you. Leaving the higher earners out may/may not have been a concession. I didn’t make over $198K last year jointly with my wife, and they hate me too, but for very different reasons. I thought it was appalling that both Pelosi and Schumer stood up there and told those bald-faced lies that they changed the bill to what was good for the citizen. The stuff they tried to tag onto that bill was insane. I don’t know what you do in “networking sales”. But I would think networking would be a big business right now, and once this is over it would be booming. My guess is that hundreds of thousands of people had issues when they wanted to network with Doctors, Work, family, or friends.

  31. Yes, you would have to handle each primer. You could use a hand primer if you so choose. I didn't really care for the hand press thing. The co-ax seats them the correct dept each time, no room for error ( unless you put it in upside down, LOL ). Your choice, good luck.

  34. For those of you think the government shouldn’t send money to workers or help business stay afloat; there are some other options. 1. Do nothing and watch the economy collapse as over half the population stays home. 2. Send everyone back to work and don’t worry about the death toll. 3. Give financial help only to the workers and not to the businesses, so that when they are ready to go back to work, their job is gone. Personally, I don’t think our economy can stand another month of this shutdown. But we will see. If it does survive it will be because of what the Federal government is doing.

  35. Forster Co-Ax single stage press. You won't need all that extra Hornady stuff. You only need 2 shell holders, which covers anything out there. I load anything from 9mm to 45/70. one holder comes with the press. I bought the bigger one for the 45/70 also. Wish I had bought one years ago. Much easier to operate.

  36. Your daughter should also get 1200 plus 500 for each kid (2700 total). And yes they are going off taxes and specifically AGI. I think the single threshold was 75k and married threshold was 150k. Head of Household is higher, around 110 or something.
