  1. Well I have seen a lot of critters since I moved here last June but saw a first the other morning. I let Darby out to do morning business and she started barking so I went out to see what it was. I knew what it was right away cause I have seen them many times. Just not around here. Darby was running around an Armadillo that had round up into a ball to protect itself from Darby. I made Darby come to me cause I didn't want the critter to decide all at once to stand it's ground instead of hiding in it's armor. Once in the house to watch it, it unrolled and ran off into the fence row and was gone. Tommy has lived here 17 years and said he saw 1 about 12 + years ago so evidently they are not common to this area...……

  2. I readily admit that I don't like the .40. Had one years ago, hated it, dumped it, didn't look back and will never own another. But that's just me. If you like it, I couldn't care less. To each, his own. As far as the claims in that video, all I had to see was the guy making those claims and any credibility it might have had went straight down the toilet. Total BS and a waste of almost 6 minutes.

  3. Those 129 gr Hydro shocks have never expanded in any test I have ever seen. The HST micro is a good load though.

  5. I've yet to see a live one, but the interstates are littered with them. I suppose they just fall out of the sky?

  6. Minus 50 boxes. with my 2% cash back card, it boils down to $7.70 per to my door. I would prefer these CCI's but they are gone as soon as they hit stock at this price that is 21 cents more a box. https://www.sgammo.com/product/22-magnum-ammo/2000-round-case-cci-22-wmr-maxi-mag-40-grain-jacketed-hollow-point-choot-em-s The Feds did have a good test review here.... so I went for it. 7. Dave, I am by no means an English scholar. I read it as the first part stating why the second amendment is necessary. The second part, which stands on it’s on, declares the right to keep and bear arms an unrestricted right of “THE PEOPLE”. I am among “THE PEOPLE”. I think you are as well.

  8. I dunno. “Shall not be infringed” seems pretty damned clear to me.

  10. Today we went to Owensboro to the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum. They have a room in there with a wall full of top shelf instruments you are welcome to pick up and play until your heart's content. I found one I fell in love with. I swear it was marked Martin OM-38. I cannot find anything about that model with a google search. Perhaps it was an OM-28. They are pricey. There was a young boy in there who could play any instrument in the room. I played with him for a while. He could sing too!

  11. A tough, durable skinner with black canvas micarta handles, red G10 liners and mechanical fasteners as well as epoxy holding the handles on. A karambit with black oxide finish, black G10 handles and subdued SS pins to keep with the look. Another damascus knife featuring custom handles from Voodoo Resins...

  13. While searching through the many suggestions here, Amazon popped this poster storage tube up. At $20 it was just what I was looking for. It just got here and is great! I'll probably fill a small camera bag with extra ammo and attach it to the shoulder strap. All I need now is a Bernie Sanders sticker to remove any doubt that there is anything of value inside. Now you see it Now you don't

  14. My only AK caliber rifle. Barreled action by Dolomite Supafly. Single shot Savage action 7.62x39. If I recall he used a Green Mountain .308 blank. Bushnell 30mm 10x on top. It shoots saltine crackers at 185yrds with ease.

  15. My WASR 10 always did me right. Fun plinker and never any failures. Only thing I did to it is re-stain the wood. Not a fan of blonde wood so refinished it red chestnut.
