  2. I wouldn’t for any 2 shot derringer. (okay, that’s not true. I might if it was wrapped in money and delivered by a stripper) I’m the applications guy, and believe many different guns have their own application. But there are so many better options for small pocket guns. Unless of course your application is seeing if you can spend more than anyone but still be the most unarmed person in the room. However, kudos to them I don’t see how they stay in business, but obviously they are selling guns.

  3. I remember being young and dumb enough to shoot something like that. Now I just think its funny to watch folks build stuff that is uncomfortable to shoot. Only to find out they are 50 years (or more) too late.

  4. I was giving out school supplies to military families today. (About 1000 kids) A mom with several kids came in with a special needs son. He was obviously in sensory overload and mom was having issue taking care of him and her other children. The entire room stopped. You could see how uncomfortable everyone was and how some disapproved of how mom handled it. I've been in the same situation most of the times I'm in public with my daughter. My daughter is also blind so she tends to get excited easily. I always feel guilty for interrupting someone's night out and putting them in that situation, but I also want to make the most of the time we will have with her. If you see us out, please don't hold your breath. Your child can't catch it. You don't have to feel sorry for us. It's okay to ask questions. I'm not going to freak out. I only break down when I'm alone. I wish I would have hugged that mom and told her it was okay.

  5. Pastoral work is rarely easy. It’s hard and dirty. We’re not tossing a rope down into a hole and hoping the person climbs out on their own. So often, we’re climbing down into that hole with them and saying, “let’s figure out a way to get out of here together.” All I know is that when a person finds their way through our doors, they should encounter Jesus. Anything less and we ought to just shut the doors - we’d be just as well at the gym or the coffee shop or the bar down the street.

  6. I’m sure they will. They just came out with the .380. So after all the wives & girlfriends have the .380’s and 9mm; the company will be wanting to sell to the guys also.

  7. I took it to the Wilson County Coop for repairs who are a Husqvarna certified repair shop, and they charge about half as much per shop hour as SLE Power does. They have a 3 week backlog so it'll be awhile before I know anything for sure. They did see the oil and guessed that the seal blew.

  8. My Dad is a retired machinist.... Boy the crap he used to make. He said while in school in the 60's he worked at a machine shop and they were fixing a demilled 50 cal in their free time. He never knew what happened to it. One weekend it disappeared out of the corner of the shop. Lol
