So I lost my small Protech strider pocket knife and although I loved that knife I wanted to try something different. I’ve owned a microtech in the past and was pleased so started browsing The Hollow Grind YouTube reviews to see what was new or intriguing and came across this Heretic Manticore S. It’s a small smooth body aluminum OTF dagger point. I’ve only had it for about 2 hours but already very happy. Action is easy and smooth but not too easy to work about pocket carry. Great oversized pocket clip with deep carry and glass breaker on the end. Knife is sharp but not Protech-sharp. Just wanted to show it off 39969F24-CE92-4FDD-9F9D-A0EBA7CE6375.MOV

What does this add to the conversation? No one mentioned flying near anyone’s windows. I’d rather fly it in the parks I want to work on editing nature videos. I believe as long as we stay below 400 feet we should be left alone.

No rights are involved in that decision. You don’t have to pay for or apply for a Constitutional right. This has zero to do with the 2nd amendment to the Constitution and everything to do with moving towards allowing illegals to vote.

We have been dry firing and then I rack the slide while she continues to hold it. Not the same as real recoil, but it helps her to see how much force is needed to keep the gun where it needs to be. She weighs 100 pounds (after two kids) and is of Filipino descent, and she is small even compared to her relatives. My 13- year old son is getting close to her height.

I got my FAA number for my little drone back when it was "mandatory" and read up on the part 107 rules. That seems rather pricey, almost a pilots license, and not what a hobby flyer should have to deal with. I flew mine on my property, inspecting fence lines, but staying within visual range was dang near impossible. I think they need to control the airspace in some areas such as airports, downtown etc, but flying on private property, at reasonable altitudes, should be totally within hobby rules, whether you have visual or not. Some people have acres of land that due to terrain and vegetation there is no way to stay legal, that should be remedied.

I have a Colt Competition 1911 9mm, with super light springs. Although I do not have failure to feed, I have failure to lock back the slide if the rounds are too light a load. I am a smaller woman, but maybe not as small as your wife. For whatever reason, maybe the 1911 grip is pretty big, I have never had a problem with a grip safety as long as I grabbed and held the gun "like I mean it". Getting a firm grip not only helps to eliminate the grip safety problem, it also helps firm up limp wristing. If a woman has some hand strength, I tell her to "manhandle" it, she is not going to break it and she needs to have a good grip to prevent someone from taking it from her. Some people need encouragement to "hold it like they mean it". Maybe do some dry fire gun handling exercises before going to live fire next time?

I got this in a trade a while back. Kind of rare PPC, being it is .357 GP100 with Mascot sight rib, unknown gunsmith. It is an early serial # GP100. The trigger rolls so nice. It is fun to shoot from cupcake .38s to fullhouse .357s.

Yep, like I been saying all along. For the money, it's had to beat a Bersa firearm.

Or, just get a revolver..  If she can't pull the slide on a semi-auto, she probably isn't going to be comfortable with it if she needs it.  Get a revolver.  Simple as point and shoot.  She should be able to handle a .38 hopefully.
