I will be but I doubt they’re going to talk any about it. I’d like to get in touch with Jeff Knox and have him on the podcast soon.2 points

The NRA is incorporated in the state of NY so Cuomo can cause them all kinds of problems. This was posted in another thread today and it seriously concerns me about that organization. It’s worth the read. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/04/nras-dirty-laundry-exposed-as-pro-gun-group-cleans-house/#axzz5m9Mp8dA92 points

https://www.amazon.com/Jockey-Mens-Underwear-Pouch-Brief/dp/B078JBKLH5?th=1 Found something similar. Don't ask me why I just looked up mens underwear for another dude. Can't quite figure that one out myself.2 points

None of us would get by with what they are accused of without criminal charges being filed.2 points

With DPS still carrying guns they know have issues; it sounds like DPS and FN both could potentially have a big problem if something happens. lawyers will eat this up. However, neither of the shootings of Officers they talk about in the story appear to have anything to do with a weapon problem. In one keys on the side of a bag got caught in the trigger guard and pulled the trigger. Why in the world would anyone choose a holster for a striker fired weapon that doesn’t cover the trigger area? That’s crazy. And the other story is someone taking apart a loaded gun; that’s crazy also. As we have seen, any gun can have problems, its how the manufacturer responds that matters.2 points

I'll be at the NRA Annual Meeting (NRAAM) this Friday and Saturday. Who else is going? If you're not going, what would you like to see photos and/or video of?1 point

Can't quote the exact comment, but during some searching tonight I did some wild comments about that course of action. If I can stay awake long enough, I'll try and find it.1 point

The enemy we know rather than one we don't. Change in the NRA is a definite need. Scrapping it totally would be a disaster for us and the country. jmo1 point

Once or twice in my youth I found myself in the presence of underwear as big as those pictured above but they didn’t belong to a dude.1 point

Just FYI... NRAAM 2020 is back in Nashville!1 point

I’ve seen many things discussed on TGO, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone post a pic of their underwear.1 point

I wasn’t really onboard with this until I saw the words “cannon” and “grapeshot.” I may have to re-evaluate my HD plan.1 point

This is the Olight S1R2, from what Ive read and seen the S2 Baton (18650) performs similarly but with longer burn time. For reference, my backyard there is about an acre and Im on a second story balcony.1 point

I have an older non takedown 40 caliber also. Broke the ejector and sent it back to Ruger. They repaired it for free, even though I was not the original purchaser. Sent it back to me on their dime. Can't beat their customer service, IMO.1 point

I never thought I would say this but I think I will bypass a Glock 45 and get a second 19x down the road, I absolutely love that pistol and now that I have it set up the way I like it truly for me anyway is Glock perfection1 point

I’d keep your ear to the ground regarding the Ackerman-McQueen lawsuit. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/04/nras-dirty-laundry-exposed-as-pro-gun-group-cleans-house/1 point

I fixed Jeep two weeks ago. Starter relay. I swapped it with a wiper relay just to get the truck to start. I just followed a Youtube video. Not the exact year. It's in a plastic box under the hood with some other plug in relays. Looks like a fuse box. That may not be it on yours, but it fixed this one. The relays are black plastic, maybe 1/" x 3/4". They have replacements at the auto zone.1 point

I have had electrical issues with real cheap lights. So, I consider Fenix a cheap light, and Surefire a good one. I own and use a lot more Fenix than Surefire.1 point

Anytime you try to conflate the government with God’s Will, you run into very dangerous ground of justifying some actions that even Satan wouldn’t claim as his own.1 point

Im the opposite. I cant seem to shoot glocks well. I tried and failed several times. I was and am still a sig guy, but have had great luck with the M&P 2.0. If it needs a new home I promise it wont be lonely....1 point

I've recently run about 1500 rounds of the Geco 124gr 9mm through my Sterling SMG and several pistols. It was clean, consistent, NATO spec ammo. I highly recommend it.1 point

The alloy frame will scuff and scratch fairly easy on the J-Frames-I guess it's just a fairly thin finish.1 point

I can offer you some observations based on having a couple G19's and a range of 320's. I'll qualify I love Glocks and 320's, it will come down you preferences, but I don't think its clear cut without knowing what it is you are expecting out of the XCompact assuming you are already familiar with a G19. For example, do you expect it to be feel and carry smaller due to its shorter barrel / slide? There may have been some initial confusion from some who did not realize the Compact and XCompact are not the same in several ways. I have a 320 Sub-Compact which shares the XCompacts 3.6 in length, and like my M&P 2.0 Compact in 3.5", I really like that length for a carry gun. The only issue with the Sig is the beavertail adds to its overall length so you dont realize the full potential of the shorter barrel. And that gets worse with the extended beaver of an X style module. The Glock is a bit slimmer. Even though the X module is narrower than a standard module, its still wider than a Glock compact frame. I have an X module that I had reduced as the original Carry version is bigger than than the standard Medium front to back, including shaving the beavertail down. I think the XCompact will lose a bit in that concealability dept around printing compared to a Glock but more for shape give overall grip length with mag is close. All that said, I call Sig every couple weeks to try to get an XCompact module to run my Sub compact slide on as I only give up the RMR capability, which I would never run on an EDC anyway. I have an X-Carry, and like David, I scratched my head at the rear iron being attached to the plate. The 320 RX Compact with the same length slide has a rear iron, why not standardize? I think pretty much everyone hates that siting all the examples where folks retain them in other brands but made worse when Sigs own 320 shows there was plenty of room. Its just an X thing I guess. And its dumb and a miss. That said....I do not agree with David with regard as that being an issue. The Romeo does in fact have a notch at the rear to serve in a back-up capacity. Its a reduced profile compared to a traditional iron, so its not a fantastic sight picture for bullseye shooting @ 25yds, but they did in fact think of that. Realistically when you factor most real world need to have your EDC will be an engagement of 3 - 5 yards, if your are the guy that needs sights at that distance versus realizing the guy who gets off he first shot is the one surviving to go home....its not a huge issue even if its not ideal based on our wish list. I have Romeo's on my 229 and 320's, and I put one on my FNX45. Its a great $200 RMR and would recommend anyone pick one up when Sig is selling them at half price.1 point

I shot a 320 at Sig day at a local gun shop and really liked it. Honestly I shot it slightly better than my G191 point

It's in lay away till Sunday. But I will send a pic. I want to add that my solo really did not experience the jamming until I started using the extended clip, and won't use it unless I just load 6. However the clip extension is a nice feature, when gripping. Extremely accurate. Shoots 115 grain all day, I also own a sports bar, so I carry all the time. Dependability is a must. Thanks for responding, just had major shoulder surgery, so I have time, I liked this site.1 point

I'm new. Thought I would throw my two cents in. I've had a solo for about three years. I had a problem with it at first with a few jams. I called Kimber and I talked to him and I found out from them that I needed a fire at least 250 to 300 rounds through the gun. After doing that it has done a wonderful job. So as a striker fire I love it. So the new Striker fire Evo you should be a fine gun as well. I just put one in layaway yesterday and I'm excited about getting the chance to shoot it. Looking forward to reading some of the articles on this site. If I had one place in this country I would want to move it would be Tennessee.1 point

Of course the Micro 9 is hammer fired, not striker fired like the Solo or EVO. Having said that I have been carrying a Micro 9 for two years and it has been perfect, it is accurate and very easy to conceal. At just over 15 ozs. not bad for a 9mm.1 point

Y’all keep your man-panties to yourself. BTW, they’re opening up a Duluth Trading Co. in Knoxville. I may have to go see what all the talk about is with their drawers.0 points

So my uncle passed last month. He told my aunt before he died to make sure I get a certain revolver that was my grandfather’s. He already gave me my grandfather’s .SW 38 special which SW dated back to 1964. So I was surprised to hear about this one. I never saw it growing up and had no idea he owned it. My father said he owned this one first but it was just to big to carry everyday. He worked as a constable and at parchman prison in MS. I contacted SW with the serial number and they dated it 1926-27. Very well take care of. Looking forward to taking her out. Going to get the holster repaired as well. proud to have it looks good to be 90years old0 points
