The cat's out of the bag now but....Glad I grew up in a time without www! Poor kids today. Too much tech.2 points

Sounds like a similar situation to my late wife. For her the answer was a 2" S&W Model 30 in .32 S&W long. Its accurate, easy to handle, very low recoil and totally reliable. The .32 long ain't no powerhouse, but its better than nothing and will get the job done if you do your part.2 points

When that happened to me, the bullet would stick really close to the chamber and the next round wouldn't feed. But a HiPoint could have a looser tolerance. No way those rounds had much, if any, powder. The customer's complaint was "accuracy issues". He couldn't get on paper at any distance.2 points

I couldn’t agree more. I really think that in the end we will come to the conclusion that for all of the great things the internet brings, the juice just isn’t worth the squeeze.1 point

What?? No credit no mention of Tennessee's Favorite Son...the actual inventor of the internet. That's just terrible! Not giving Al even a mention.1 point

Great price and a fine choice for getting back out on the range. You’ll be pleased with the natural accuracy right out of the box.1 point

And in TN if it was a good shoot there will be no civil suit.1 point

Thanks for the input. I went with the 75B Omega. After I pick it up and check it out I'll decide on the grips, sights, springs and such.1 point

Wish we weren't so far apart. I have a very nice and clean RAMI I'd sell to you.1 point

Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). Absolutely the best deal on a Garand going. Get your paperwork in order and make a little road trip down to the CMP South Store in Aniston, AL and pick out your own. That's what I did for my first M1 back in 2007. Its well worth the trip.1 point

If you go to the Kimber Webb site. Looks like someone put a thousand dimpals in it. Msrp 1,047 I think, I paid 990.00.1 point

Finally found a Python in what I consider good shape and I could afford. I've been on the Python search for quite some time now. Most of them I'd want to take home must have gold screws! Sorry for the lousy pics.1 point

Beautiful gun ! Curious as why prices have skyrocketed over past few years (other than they aren’t making them anymore). I had one that I traded about 10 yrs ago for a Springfield XD and a Beretta 950 that I had about $800 in. Lost my job 2 years ago and sold it for $2450.00 on gunbroker. Didn’t want to sell, but thankful I could. Paid 3 months of house payment.1 point

It's in lay away till Sunday. But I will send a pic. I want to add that my solo really did not experience the jamming until I started using the extended clip, and won't use it unless I just load 6. However the clip extension is a nice feature, when gripping. Extremely accurate. Shoots 115 grain all day, I also own a sports bar, so I carry all the time. Dependability is a must. Thanks for responding, just had major shoulder surgery, so I have time, I liked this site.1 point

My mother is of a similar age and due to arthritis can't really manipulate a pistol or revolver well. OTOH she can handle a Stoeger coach gun w/ no problem. The larger shotgun shells and easy break open action don't require much in the way of fine motor control. She sleeps w/ it next to the bed. It's only two shots but I pity the poor fool who tries to mess w/ her.1 point

If she wants a heavier revolver, think about the Ruger SP101 in .32 Mag. Mild recoil, six rounds, and dependable. The only problem is that they're expensive nowadays.1 point

I got the custom shop evo. Very pretty, I know it's awful expensive, but being a journeyman tool and die maker, I appreciate the great Machining that goes into a Kimber.1 point

The stock rubber grips are fantastic... the hard plastic ones are terrible. The aluminum ones are great, a bit pricey as you'll spend 25% of the price of the gun to get a pair Best grips for the money are LOK, choose the style based off your personal preference as far as texture goes. If you like the feel of the stock grips then go with the palm swell version. If you want as thin as possible go with the non-palm swell Hakan Pek grips are works of art, but he no longer makes them and they look better than they provide grip (still enough to function but not great for a long range day in the heat, plus you wouldn't want to ding them they look so good!) While you have the grips off change out the hammer spring to lower the DA/SA pull, Cajun Gun works is usually how I order from. It's a 2 minute job and makes a big difference. Pictures are a matte 75B with Hakan grips and a railed 75 compact with LOK bogies in back/white1 point

I didn't know about this thread until Yesterday evening. I shot 2 of my shotguns Yesterday afternoon. If I had known I would've snapped a few shots. Next time...…….1 point

It does not. It clearly say OR after the preceding scenarios. There are four options: 1. Locked in trunk 2. Locked in glove box 3. Anywhere inside the vehicle out of site, like under the seat, with the vehicle locked. 4. Locked in something firmly affixed to the vehicle...interior or exterior.1 point

The way firearms were upgraded in the past was beautiful engraving, upgraded walnut stocks, etc. That was expensive & still is, "upgrading" an AR is pretty cheap. Today many want to out-tacticool each other.LOL We did consider designing a picatinny mounted drink holder for AR's.1 point

I lubed it pretty aggressively, and the issue nearly went away. I had one FTF, but the rest of the mag was sent just fine. Last round hold open also failed. But that's progress from not feeding at all. I'll clean it thoroughly and lube it up some more, and see if the issue goes away entirely.1 point

REMOVE the penalty for carrying past signage ! Signs protect NO ONE. And an otherwise law abiding person should not be able to be prosecuted for committing the "crime" of refusing to be helpless.1 point
-
Amen. Make it a TRULY enhanced permit and make it so that it overrides signage , etc and they will have to hire extra people to process all the applications....1 point
-
If they were to lump schools and/or signage into the group, you'd see a rush of a lot of people looking to upgrade, qualify, etc.1 point

It’s going to take a while for the expungement to work it’s way through the system(s)...if it ever does. Believe it or not all LEO systems are not interconnected, far from it actually. Expect to be denied, then appeal with the paperwork.1 point

Yeah, I sent an email as well as called and canceled my Simplisafe services. I'm not a big boycotter but this is getting stupid. The quicker they feel the impact, the quicker this stupid, knee jerk, reactionary, idiocy, will cease. I don't care what they believe, but using their company to punish me for what I believe is just bad business.1 point

After waiting 6 weeks, I called. Got it one week later.1 point
