The guy may have been a bit nutty. However, he did get a lot of conversation going, we needed that.5 points

Looks like a new good Christmas movie to go see from Clint Eastwood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib-Fhj2BEd4&feature=youtu.be3 points

Sitting in a tree this morning, not too hot but a tad muggy and thanking the inventor of the Thermacell right now!! No movement yet but hopeful.2 points

Shooting in my backyard was high on my list of wants when we were looking for a place. I found a great place, only 7.5 acres but have nearly 800' of property line shared with the Cherokee National forest in an area that has no development or trails. I have just a small range out to 35 yards and can shoot off my back deck with a natural dirt bank for a backstop. I limit how much I shoot really loud guns and have never had any complaints from neighbors. I have asked a few if I make to much noise and they say they seldom notice. Everyone I know on the road have guns and several others have ranges on their property. One neighbor is roughing in a 100-300 yard range depending on where his wife talks him into putting their new house, I have already been invited to use it. Life is good.2 points

Perhaps you shouldn’t entertain out of state clients or be in the business of bringing more in. As a native Tennessean I’ll just go ahead and say we are full up. I can assure you everythIng they are trying to escape will happen here.2 points

Since The Mule got mentioned, here's another promising looking feature from another legendery star/director/producer. Redford says it's the last movie in which he will appear.1 point

Not sure we should overanalyze screen names. I mean mine is a waco 60's alcoholic drug addict with a fondness for large caliber revolvers and hallucinatory drugs...oops. Nevermind1 point

My heart hasn't been in it so far this year. I had that 8 point on the ground opening day last year. I got gensing fever this year.1 point

I’m ashamed to even say this, and I don’t know how it’s happened, but I have never owned a 1911. I’ve shot several, and I’m familiar with their workings... just never had one. I want one (well... at least one), and I think it would be sweet to kick off a new habit with a vintage CMP sample. I’ve got my fingers crossed for a Field Grade!1 point

I debated it for this very reason alone and even told MacGyver, "He's generating traffic, at least". BUT... I felt like the account was questionable at best when I figured out the screen name was a sniper character in a video game and that he was posting almost verbatim the same threads over on INGO but with about a 2-week head start there. Their users seemed to be getting tired of him for some of the same reasons we were skeptical here. I figured it's foolish to watch someone make a mistake and then not learn from it and avoid it, so...1 point

I agree with Pink Cadillac and might go so far as to say it’s one of the worst movies ever, but the “Loose” movies are excellent, lol. You left out Bronco Billy, it was garbage as well.1 point

Even the name says, "Nah. No." The EC9s is a really thin choice with a really good trigger.1 point

That situation is probably going to work out for a few lifetimes at least but.... Those kind of deed restrictions can get outdated over generations if people aren't vigilant. If someone erects a non compliant structure secretly and it stands for many years and many sales, eventually it can become legal because no one ever made a legal complaint, or even cares anymore. Don't know all the ins and outs or what its called but it was on a test I took a long time ago. I know different States have different rules. This happens a lot in older subdivisions with restrictions and covenants in this area I have seen. Also re-zoning happens all the time. And don't forget eminent domain. We the people don't really own the land. Don't pay taxes on it or if scientists discover it's the spawning ground for some endangered insect.....The Government will do it's thing over your wishes.1 point

I believe you just can't have too many .22s. Marlin 99M1 Rossi 62A Ruger 10/22 Ruger 77/22 Winchester 9422 XTR Also sitting in my safe are two more Marlins. A 15YN and a 25N which belong to my two sons. These were their first rifles.1 point

Pretty much, I would not worry about it though. I've had mine for years (braces), and have taken them to the range and hunting, nobody has batted an eye.1 point

Apparently there were sightings, and one was an officer...which makes me wonder what happened there, I figured a tracking dog would pick him up pretty fast if they know where he passed.1 point

I came home last night at 6 pm to the 3 does and 2 fawns in my backyard again. I am about to buy a crossbow and measure from the road to see if I can get far enough away. LoL Probably more deer than I will see on any hunt...1 point

This is a horrible situation, but I have a beef with how the media is presenting it. Calling it an active shooter when it seems to be someone opening fire on police executing a warrant is misleading. So far it does not seem like this guy walked in somewhere asnd started shooting. Yes he was actively shooting, but not in the way most associate the "active shooter" label. It is just to push the buzz word button.1 point

Your pricing is MORE than fair! Its a straight up steal in my eyes. I know how much I have in my converted S12, and if I didnt have one I'd be all over yours!1 point

Honestly, the NFA process, while lengthy and somewhat costly, is far better than this equivocating we see on what a brace is and how it can be used. I have an SBR and I can use it for any lawful purpose. No what if's, finding the most current memo, or any other finger in the air barometer needed.1 point

Welcome to Tennessee and the TGO! What a change from Communist CA to the Hills of Tennessee. Now all ya gotta do is buy an AR, a bunch of 30 round mags, equip it with a suppressor and some really cool night sights and go shootin'. That's the cure for the California anti-gun blues!1 point

Buds is a really nice store but I've never been able to get good service from the people working there. Not too friendly.1 point
-
If your going to hit Buds, you also need to hit Smoky Mtn knife works next door. Their ammo prices are a bit better on some types and I saw the same on their guns for some models. The knife works has expanded their gun area enormously during the last 3 or 4 years.1 point

My family is native TN and KY but my parents moved a bunch. I was in Oregon for 10 years but the cancer from CA has spread all along the coast, I had to go. Couldn't convince the wife to go to Idaho so we landed here. Sorry..... I will retire thereabouts one day God willing but others will take my place. People migrate, it's inevitable. You think TN is absolute pro-gun then see cracks forming in Nashville. I Sympathize but the Native Tennesseans are selling the land to build the subdivisions and promoting companies to bring jobs here. Or at least voting for those that do. I thought it a good sign these folks were pro-gun anyway! TN has a bit of time left before it becomes CA. Vote pro-2ndA and don't let side issues distract and TN will be fine.1 point

I dunno, but I bet TWRA is trying right this minute to figure out how to explain that picture away.1 point

We dropped the bike off at Sloan's this morning. Everyone was nice and seemed competent. It was busy there. They said it would be about 10 days until they could get to it. They also had an Indian Scout on sale that had my name written all over it. Now if I could only could convince Mrs. Tenn.1 point
